Abstract

The Islamic Teacher Training College at the Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School is famous with Five Spirits, Five Termes, and its Mottoes. One of its mottoes is Noble Character. Noble Character is the most important foundation which is instilled by the cottage to all its students at all levels and all education and teaching must contain character. Exemplary teacher is a figure that must be followed by all students and the teacher has become an example not just giving an example to students. So if the teacher is good, the students are good. And able to apply it in their daily lives. However, there are some 4th grade students of KMI who have not been able and have noble morals both for God, for humans and for themselves. As a result, many of them violated discipline. In fact, the higher the class, the lower the character. The purpose of this research was to determine: 1) The exemplary teachers of KMI at Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School. 2) Character traits of students of class 4 KMI Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School. 3) Knowing whether or not there is an influence of the teacher's example on the morals of students in class 4 KMI Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School on period 1440-1441.The type of research that the researcher took is the quantitative and quantitative field research (Quantitatif). The population of class 4 KMI students is 430 with a sample taking of 23% totaling 99 students by random method. Data collection techniques used were: (1) Questionnaire, to determine the exemplary teachers of KMI and the Characters of students of class 4 KMI Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School. (2) Documentation, to obtain data about the general picture of the cottage. The data analysis uses the product moment correlation technique with a significance level of 5%.The results of this research are: 1) The exemplary teachers of KMI Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School in the 1440-1441 H school year reached an average value of 122.68 with a very high degree. 2) Moral Character of students in class 4 KMI Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School in the academic year 1440-1441 H reached an average value of 105.26 with a high degree. 3) There is a strong influence with a value of 0,379 0r 37,9 % and the Significance 0,000<0,05 between the exemplary teachers of KMI and the morals of students of the class 4 KMI Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School on period 1440-1441.

Abstract

At present in the life of the nation and state increasingly experiencing mental crises, morals, and behavior such as brawl problems, student fights that have been entrenched, corruption that has become a tradition, using drugs or liquor. This study aims to find out 1). the formation of student character values through extracurricular activities, 2). Factors that support and inhibit the formation of student character values through extracurricular activities in pondok al-Islam and 3. character values formed through extracurricular activities. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Documentation is used to schedule extracurricular activities, the number of students participating in extracurricular activities and the name of the supervising teacher. While the technique of analyzing researchers data uses miles and huberman model analysis, namely data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation. the results of research at Pondok Al-Islam joresan showed that the formation of student character values through extracurricular activities at Pondok Al-Islam had a strategy, the strategies used were habituation and exemplaryness. 1). Habituation Strategy in the form of the first policy of the lodge in designing mandatory and optional extracurricular activities. Secondly, there are regulations to create discipline in carrying out extracurricular activities. 2). The first exemplary strategy is the example of the supervising teacher. The two officials are opmi. while supporting factors for the formation of student character values through extracurricular activities in Pondok Al-Islam, namely: 1). school policies in extracurricular implementation, 2). guidebook for student activities, 3). availability of competent supervisors. 4). family support or student guardian. The inhibiting factors are 1). the facilities and infrastructure of extracurricular activities are not yet complete. 2). lack of extracurricular tutor teacher. 3). Character values that are formed through extracurricular dipondok al-Islam, namely: Religious characters, Honest, Tolerance, Discipline, Hard Work, Creative, Independent, Curiosity, Friendly/Communicative, Peaceful Love, Social Concern and Social Responsibility.

Abstract

This article is discussing about the urgency of the role of philosophy as a foundation for curriculum development in 2013, in which the 2013 of curriculum was based on several views of the educational philosophy and philosophy of Pancasila as Indonesia's ideology. This article is a literature review study that seeks to show the meaning of the role of philosophy as a foundation for 2013 of curriculum development, based on the results of research studies, the existence of a scientific method that results from philosophical thinking, will increasingly lead to curriculum development goals, the aim of curriculum development is based on the foundation of the flow of educational philosophy, the views of educational philosophy is idealism, perennialism, essentialism, and the foundation of the ideology of Pancasila, which increasingly shows the urgency of philosophy for curriculum development, so that the philosophy and philosophy of education adopted will affect social life, family life, and in the sphere of education. If there is no philosophy in everylife there will be many misconceptions.

Abstract

Education is one of the main factors in making humans a quality and innovative human being. Because humans are required to always do innovation and renewal and have better knowledge, creativity and life skills. In the field of education, the role of management is very important in determining the quality of an educational institution especially curriculum management. From the above background the authors formulated the title "Management of Curriculum 2013 in the Context of Improving the Quality of Education in Islamic Junior High School 2 Ponorogo". The formulation of the problem in this thesis is: How is curriculum management in Islamic Junior High School  2 Ponorogo and how actions taken by schools in improving the quality of education. Research conducted by researchers is including qualitative descriptive research and in collecting data the author uses interviews, observation and documentation. As for the analysis, the author uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques, in the form of written or oral data from people and observed behaviors so that in this case the researcher tries to conduct a real research. The results of the research by the author are known that the curriculum in Islamic Junior High School  2 Ponorogo uses the Semester Credit System (SKS), then for the curriculum used is the 2013 curriculum. For curriculum planning there is such a thing as team work in charge of preparing curriculum planning, determining assessments, reports assessment and determine that students deserve to be in the acceleration program or the regular program. For organization, it involves each of the allied teachers under the coordination of the Principal and the Curriculum Section. For implementation, it is divided into two levels, namely the implementation of the school level curriculum and the implementation of the class level curriculum. And lastly there is an evaluation that is by holding a meeting with the deputy head of the curriculum, the evaluation carried out is monitoring. After conducting an evaluation, the next step is to make an evaluation report. Then to support quality improvement in schools, the institution facilitates adequate facilities and infrastructure so that teaching and learning activities can run well, and also opens 3 educational programs, namely a regular program, a bilingual program, and an acceleration program. Various educational service programs are aimed at improving the quality of education in Islamic Junior High School  2 Ponorogo.

Abstract

Memorizing Al-Qur'an is a necessity for every Muslim in memorizing letters during the obligatory prayers and sunnah prayers One of the efforts of the Indonesian people is to develop a program of memorizing the Qur'an in formal education including universities. Students are agents of change who are responsible for strengthening society and religion by safeguarding the Qur'an and Sunnah. With the "Al-Qur'an Memorization Program" for students is expected to be able to minimize deficiencies and improve the situation, of course, by implementing this method requires the "method of memorizing the Qur'an" that can achieve indicators and noble goals of learning in an institution. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) the implementation of the Talqin, Tafahhum, Tikrar, and Murojaah methods in the Tahfidzul Al-Qur'an program at Darussalam University Gontor Putri, Mantingan, Ngawi, East Java 2) supporting factors and the implementation of Talqin, Tafahhum, and supporting methods Tikrar, and Murojaah at the Tahfidzul Al-Qur'an program at Darussalam Gontor Putri University, Mantingan Ngawi, East Java. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using several methods, namely: 1) interview method, used to collect new data related to the implementation of the Talqin, Tafahhum, Tikrar, and Murojaah methods in the Tahfidzul Al-Qur'an program at Darussalam Gontor Putri University, 2) observation methods, used to collect data related to the description of facilities and infrastructure supporting the implementation of the Talqin, Tafahhum, Tikrar, and Murojaah methods in the Tahfidzul Al-Qur'an program at Darussalam University of Gontor Putri, 3) documentation method, used to collect data related to documentation of the implementation of the Talqin, Tafahhum, Tikrar, and Murojaah methods in the Tahfidzul Al-Qur'an program at Darussalam University Gontor Putri. And in analyzing data, researchers used an interactive analysis of the Miles and Huberman model with the steps of average reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The majority of female students in the tahfidz program use methods applied by universities such as reciting and understanding, reading Al-Qu'ran to be memorized which is the Talqin and Tafahum methods, after that repeating the memorization more than once is the Takrir method and finally depositing it to muhafidzoh as a form of the Murojaah method.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that originate from, are managed by, and take part in the community. In the context of Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School further means that the educational process involves students as subjects not objects of education. For that reason, leadership education is a very important thing in educational institutions, namely as a basic means for an institution to improve and optimize human resources to achieve an expected goal. With one of the slogans in Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School that is always delivered that is ready to be led and ready to lead. So the students in Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School educated with a pattern so that they are ready to be led by senior students and their teachers must be ready to continue the wheels of management in the boarding house by leading their junior students. In scientific research, researchers used a qualitative field approach followed by the type of research, research location, data sources and data collection methods. This research is a qualitative research because the research was conducted in natural conditions. The main problem in providing leadership education for students is the large number of them and they are not known about their specific and general duties, as well as some students who are difficult to advise and warn because of their work, enthusiasm and awareness. And students who transcend order and discipline as they continue the action with repetition.

Abstract

The teacher has an important role in preparing good comunity members to be able to face future challenges. Therefore, teachers need to have social competence in order to able to interact and communicate with students effectively and efficiently, which teachers will be emulated by their student. But, sometimes the attitude of students who are not based on politeness, ignoring the existence of teachers, insulting and even harassing teachers is one of the anxieties in the world of education. Therefore required the determination of social competence in teachers through Amaliyah Tadris activities before the teaching-learning process. Kulliyatul Mu'allimaat Al-Islamiyah is an islamic educational institution oriented to the formation of personal teachers by implementing Amaliyah Tadris activity. This research is a qualitative descreptive study, which used some data collection techniques: interview, observation, documentation, and triangulation. While the data analiysis techniques used Miles and Huberman's data analysis, there are: data reduction, data display, and verification. The result of this study indicate that, 1) Amaliyah Tadris is the last educational touch for final graduate students is to complete and perfect superior character education. Before starting this activity, the Boarding school provided students with tarbiyah material review, teaching practices, guidance and advice. The teachers write a preparation book (i'dad) before teaching. The supervisors and other students supervise the process of teaching. After Amaliyah Tadris, all of supervisors and students finally conduct an evaluation of the teaching by the teacher which is divided into several groups. 2) The formation of social competence in teachers through Amaliyah Tadris of the final graduate students of Kulliyatul Mu'allimaat Al-Islamiyah is carried out before the activity take place, concurrent with the activity, and at the end of the activity. Begins with guidance and advice, supervised by supervision, and end with evaluation.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in various fields has also been felt in the world of education. This development can be seen from the rise of the use of computers as teaching aids as well as learning media. What is mean by teaching aids here are tools or objects used by teachers to facilitate teaching tasks such as helping in calculating or analyzing data. While the learning media in question is the use of a computer connected to the LCD projector media to facilitate students in understanding the material. This study aims to find out 1) How to use e-learning technology LCD projector media on the subjects of SKI in MTsN 2 Ponorogo. 2) Is there any influence between e-learning media projector LCD technology on SKI learning achievement in MTsN 2 Ponorogo. This research is an experimental quantitative research. Data collection is done by documenting grades in school. Data collection is done by looking at the results of the midterm exam between two classes namely the experimental class and the control class, then analyzing the results of all student grades and then finally given a conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the application of projector LCD media in SKI learning is declared effective again student learning achievement as evidenced by the results of the student’s midterm examination which shows that the projector LCD media is very useful as a supporting medium in learning the history of Islamic culture.

Abstract

Al-Balāgoh is an Arabic subject that aims to improve proficiency in Arabic language students. Darussalam Gontor Islamic Boarding School for Girls Campus 2 pays great attention to this subject and strives to make this subject interesting to female students. Therefore, the researcher tried to come up with a research for teaching al-Balāgoh using the "Lectora Inspire" as learning media. The researcher wanted to achieve the effectiveness of this learning media to raise the activity of Class Three Intensive Students in al-Balāgoh and their results for the academic year 1440-1441. This research is a Classroom Action Research method that is conducted in four successive steps to achieve the purpose goals. The results of this research showed that teaching al-Balāgoh using the learning media "Lectora Inspire" raised the activity of female students' learning in al-Balāgoh by achieving 43% in the first session, and then increasing of 82% in the second session, and although raised the learning result by achieving 23% in the first session, and an increase of 82% in the second session. Hence, teaching al-Balāgoh using the "Lectora Inspire" learning media can be used in another subject to increase student learning activity and their results.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are changes in one's behaviour that include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities after following a particular teaching learning process. Education and teaching are said to be successful if the students visible changes are the result of the teaching learning process which is the process that is taken through programs and activities designed and implemented by the teacher in the teaching process. Therefore, a teacher must have innovations in teaching one of them using the method of learning Problem based learning. The results of the study taken from the semester exam on the Fiqh teaching eyes in SMP Plus Al-Firdaus Karangploso Malang, is quite satisfactory.In this study aims: (1) to know the results of students learning after the application of learning methods of Problem based learning on the subjects of Fiqh class VIII SMP Plus Al-Firdaus Karangploso Malang. (2) to explain the influence of the implementation of methods of learning Problem based learning on learning outcomes Fiqh class VIII of SMP Plus Al-Firdaus Karangploso Malang. The research was designed with experiments using the experimental design quasi-One Group Pretest Posttest Design which aims to determine the difference in learning outcomes before application of learning model and after application of learning model of problem based learning and also to know the presence or absence of learning method of problem based learning to improve learning outcomes. The instrument of data collection using tests and data analysis using test normality, test homogenity, Test T. The results of this study showed that: (1) based on data analysis obtained pretests value with an average of 43.28 and posstest value with an average of 85.52. (2) There are influences of the implementation of the Problem based learning method on the learning results of the Fiqh study based on statistical analysis by using the test obtained the result of 0.000 < 0.05.
