Abstract

This study, thus, has unveiled the students’ difficulties in solving PISA-geometry problems and some efforts to face them through scaffolding. This research use qualitative approach. The student were given the problems of PISA-geometry then 6 student were choosen as the subject of study. The data were got from the results of the students’ work PISA-geometry was conducted, involving: understanding of problems, associating the problems with the concept having been taught especially Pythagorean theorem, calculating multiplication of decimals, simplifying the problems, elaborating the skecth, and deciding strategies of problem solving. Scaffolding conducted by researches is refers to scaffolding Anghilari level 2 (explaining, reviewing and restructuring).

Abstract

This research aimed to find out whether or not it is significantly effective to teach writing by using synergetic teching strategy to the eighth grade students of SMPN 3 Lubuklinggau. Method used was pre-experimental. The data was analyzed through four techniques: individual score, minimuntuum mastery criteria, normality testing, mtched t-test calculation. Therefore, the null hypotheses (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypotheses (Ha) was accepted. It can be concluded that it was significantly effective to teach writing by using synergetic teaching strategy to the eighth grade students of SMPN 3 lubuklinggau.

Abstract

Kegiatan mengapresiasi sastra salah satunya adalah menganalisis naskah drama, siswa dituntut kemampuannya dalam menganalisis unsur-unsur yang terdapat dalam naskah drama dan karakteristik hubungan antar unsur tersebut sehingga ditemukan suatu penilaian utuh terhadap drama, melalui pemahaman terhadap naskah drama dapat memperkaya dan memperhalus budi bahasa, mengasah pola pikir kritis, mengembangkan cipta dan rasa pembentukan watak. Untuk lebih meningkatkan keterampilan menganalisis dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diperlukan model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk menunjang keberhasilan dalam kegiatan menganalisis. Model yang digunakan adalah model group investigation, dan dipadukan dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis untuk meningkatkan daya analisis terhadap naskah yang dianalisis tersebut. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Cigeulis tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen dengan desain perlakuan faktorial 2 X 2. Uji coba instrumen menggunakan point beserial. Uji persyaratan analisis data meliputi uji normalitas data menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan homogenitas menggunakan uji F (Fisher). Hasil uji penelitian adalah thitung > ttabel pada derajat kepercayaan 0.05. Untuk hipotesis pertama thitung = 3,582 dan ttabel = 2,101, hipotesis kedua diperoleh thitung = 2,496 dan ttabel = 2,101, hipotesis ketiga diperoleh thitung = 3,084 dan ttabel = 2,101, hipotesis keempat diperoleh thitung = 2,372 dan ttabel = 2,101,

Abstract

This research was done at the X-1 and X-2 grade of SMAN 10 Pandeglang by using experimental methods to design Experiment by Treatment two factorial design. The quantitative data was gathered by written an creative thinking test. The data analysis used ANOVA 2 way and it was analized by using SPSS 16 programe. The results of data was shown that: (1) there are significant differences short story witting skill between Guided Discovery-Inquiry and expository method; (2) there are significant of story writing skill difference between students who have high creative thinking and those who have low creative thinking; (3) the are interaction of Guided Discovery-Inquiry method and creative thinking snd its influence toward students short story writting skill; (4) there are difference between students’ short story writing skills who used Guided Discovery-Inquiry and those who used expository learnig method; (5) there are differences between student’s short story writing skill who used low Guided Discovery-Inquiry and those who used low axpository learning methods.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the extent of the influence and relationship education terhaadap media professionalism and student achievement in SMAN 9 Jambi. The population in this study amounted to 662 people with the withdrawal by proportional random sampling, the sample was 87. Based on the results, it can be concluded that with the professionalism of the teachers and the ability to use educational media in the learning process will facilitate the students receive the material presented and will increase student achievement itself directly.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and relationships far the effect of individual characteristics and learning motivation on student learning outcomes Junior High School in the district of Ulu Kumpe Muaro Jambi. The population in this research were 860 people with the withdrawal by proportional random sampling, the samples obtained amounted to 273. Based on the results, it can be concluded that student learning will feel confident or not in their ability to understand the material given through the adjustment and motivation to learn that is within each student. That is, students who have character and a high learning motivation will get results and better learning achievement.

Abstract

This reasearch aims to improve the quality of teacher learning by effectivitying clinical based classroom supervision at SDN Sindanglaya 2 and trying to investigate the obstacles encountered in the implementation of the clinical-based classroom supervision in order to improve the quality of teacher learning. This reasearch uses a study design school action with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of phases of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study are 8 teachers at SDN Sindanglaya 2. The research instrument used is the instrument of clinical supervision, evaluation sheets and lesson plan implementation assessment of learning sheets. The result of this reasearch concluded that (1) the clinical based classroom supervision can improve the learning quality of teachers at SDN Sindanglaya 2. Based on the assestment results of lesson plan is an average of 3.4 in the first cycle and 4.4 in the second cycle, and the results of the implementation of learning management assestment an average of 3.7 in the first cycle and 4.3 in the second cycle (2) the problem faced in the implementation of the clinical-based classroom supervision is not all teachers are ready for clinical supervised.

Abstract

The use of methods contectual teaching and learning method is expected to increase comprehension and student activity in teaching and learning process of mathematics subject at class IV. This reasearch used action research In two cycles. It cycles consists of four phases: design, activitiesand observations, watching, and refision. These results showed that the student convrehension and achievement are increased from pre-cycle, the first cycle till the second cycle. Teh result of student learning at pre siklus pasess is average 46.6 with completeness (40%), the first cycle of the average 62 with completeness (73.3%), and the second cycle the average 79 with completeness (100%). It shows that learning by using this method can be a positive influence on the comprehension, achievement and motivation of student at class IV SD Negeri Montor Pagelaran District, Pandeglang regency..

Abstract

this Action Research aims to improve the ability of teachers to utilize the school environment as a learning resource through discussions of Teachers Working Group (KKG) SDN Surianeun 2 Patia District, Pandeglang Regency academic year 2014-2015. This reasearch also conducted improve creativity, motivation, and learning result of students and teachers. From 10 teachers who involvid, 5 teachers got score with category “good”, meanwhile 5 teacher with category “enough”. At second sycles there is a better improvement 75% teacher got score with category good with score averiage 80-89. It is accordance with the defined success criteria. In detail, the acquisition value of the average increase in teachers' ability to utilize the school environment as a learning resource. The average value of observations on the discussions is 79.38 in the first cycle to 84.88 in the second cycle. Learning scenario exercise average is 78.75 in the first cycle to 82.50 in the second cycle. learning activities or in the process of learning the average is 78.33 in the first cycle to 82.08 in the second cycle.

Abstract

This action research is aims to (1) know the official letter writing, (2) investigate the implementation discovery methods and (3) know the effect of the discovery method of writing official letters. The method used in this research is action research. since the research carried out to solve the problem of learning in a class then this reasearch also include descriptive. Based on the results of the study in the first cycle to the third cycle was found that the official letter writing skills of students has increased from the first cycle to the third cycle, namely, the first cycle (37.50%), the second cycle (27.50%), the third cycle (95.00 %). This indicated that the letter-writing agency must consider (1) the elements of language, (2) Elements of official letter are: letterhead, letter number, attachments, subject, date of mailing, the address, salutation, letter, greetings cover, signature, full name of the sender, title, and copies, (3), Content and (4) format, official letter already have a standard format which consists of opening, content and cover. Additionally discovery method stimulates the activity of students to learn independently find the constraints faced in lessons.
