<![CDATA[This research aimed to examine the correlations between self-regulated learning and social support perception with students academic achievement at Ushuluddin Faculty of State Institute for Islamic Studies Imam Bonjol Padang. This research used purposive sampling technique. The subjects of this research were 150 students. The data were collected by using, (1) The self-regulated learning scale, (2) The social support perception scale, and (3) documentation. The data were analyzed by using multiple regression of SPSS 13.0 for windows. The results of this research are: (1) There is very significant and positive correlation between self-regulated learning and students academic achievement (r = 0,325, p < 0,001 and R² = 0,106); (2) There is very significant and positive correlation between social support perception and students academic achievement (r = 0,284, p < 0,001 and R² = 0,081).]]>

<![CDATA[This study wants to tell about a fact that there many people have less awareness with their duty as a child to their parents aged, moreover when they have a good position and have many activities with his jobs. Some children put their parents in an old folksâ home because they cannot take after them well. This action absolutely does not reflect an implementation of command of Allah that is to dedicate to their parents. Because of that, it needs to have responses of Ulama about this problem and it needs to get explanations about childrenâs ethics on their parents as well as teaching in Islam.]]>

<![CDATA[Belief or self efficacy is owned by someone to do an action influences activities and efforts of someone in facing difficulty of finishing of certain assignment. Especially, college students who are in Program Khusus Ulama in IAIN Antasari, they need to have a belief with theirselves to finish the final assignment as a schedule decided. With this reason, to increase the self efficacy this study designed an Achievement Motivation Training (AMT). It is a training oriented to increase motivation to achieve some goals had have decided by individuals based on their ability. The research subject invited to know theirselves more through self evaluation based on other people assessment. Then, deciding some goals wants to reach and deciding a strategy and a target based on their ability achieved from result of self evaluation. Sample of this research was 10 people and to decide experiment participation by random sampling. This training was for college students of Program Khusus Ulama of Tafsir Hadis department in Faculty of Ushuluddin and Humaniora. The conclusion is that Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) has effects to increase self efficacy of ollege students of Program Khusus Ulama. The score of Self Efficacy showed that studentsâ self efficacy proven higher than before they follow the AMT.]]>

<![CDATA[Adherents of Islam on Java community can be distinguished by the adherents of Islam who are santri or abangan. Muslim santri are adherents of Islam are actually based on the Koran, while the abangan Islam is a follower of Islam that unites the elements of local cultural beliefs and previous pre-Hindu, Hindu Islamic beliefs. Adherents of this syncretic Islam due to the influence and dynamism animissme ancestorâs life and under the influence of Hinduism who entered the archipelago before the arrival of Islam.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia is a country with the worldâs third largest population; about 90 percent of the population is Muslims. The history of the Islam in this country can be traced back to descendants of the prophet Muhammad. They played an important role in disseminating Islamic teachings in the archipelago. Until now descandants of the prophet still engage in Islamic preaching activities, understanding the legacy of the prophet from historical perspective is instructive, for that will help clarify the making of Muslim civilition in the archipelago. The prophet sent his companions to the area now known as Indonesia. His predecesors continued this tradition of sending companions in preaching missions nost notably in the time Utsman ibn Affan. The Islamic spiritual link with Indonesia was concrete: one preserved clothing of the prophet and a flag used in one of this own battles were given to the Sultan of Banten as gifts. Indeed, the community of Islamic believers shares the legacy of the prophet regardless of their orgins. Most prominently among them have been the Islamic preachers and Muslim warriors.]]>
