Silogisme : Kajian Ilmu Matematika dan Pembelajarannya, adalah sebuah jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (Unmuh Ponorogo) bekerjasama dengan Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun (Juni dan Desember), berisikan enam sampai sepuluh artikel dan menerima artikel di bidang kajian ilmu matematika (pendidikan dan murni) dengan metodologi penelitian yang memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan untuk publikasi. Naskah artikel bisa berasal dari para peneliti, akademisi, praktisi, dan pemerhati bidang ilmu matematika.

Abstract

Aljabar maks plus merupakan suatu struktur aljabar ( , Å, Ä) yang tidak mempunyai elemen invers terhadap operasi Å. Dengan kata lain, jika aÎ  maka tidak ada bÎ  sehingga aÅb = bÅa = e, kecuali jika a = e. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkan suatu struktur yang lebih luas yang disebut aljabar maks plus tersimetri, dinotasikan dengan ( , Å, Ä) dengan  = / di mana  suatu relasi ekuivalensi. Dengan adanya struktur ini, maka elemen di dalam aljabar maks plus tersimetri akan mempunyai elemen negatif terhadap operasi Å. Akibatnya, determinan matriks atas aljabar maks plus tersimetri dapat didefinisikan. Dalam tulisan ini akan dikembangkan karakterisasi determinan matriks atas aljabar maks plus tersimetri, khususnya di dalam hubungannya dengan adjoint. Hasil utama yang diperoleh yaitu untuk suatu  dengan   aljabar maks plus tersimetri, elemen nol e dan elemen identitas e berlaku sifat , di mana notasi   menyatakan relasi setimbang.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the spread of infectious disease can be formed as an epidemic model. Simplest epidemic model is SI model which can be extended to SIR and SIS model. If recover person will not be susceptible to same disease until the immunity dies out, then the model will be SIRS model. If all person in SIRS model are in population which have restrictiveness of carrying capacity, then it will be formed SIRS model with logistic growth. This model can be presented mathematically using a system of differential equations. Based on SIRS model with logistic growth, it is obtained three disease-free equilibrium points and one endemic equilibrium point. Two disease-free equilibrium points are not stable, while one more point is asymptotically stable if modified reproduction ratio number more than one and the ratio between intrinsic growth rate with death rate which is caused of disease less than proportion of number of infected person with total population. Based on modified reproduction ratio number, loss of disease from population is affected by the interaction rate between susceptible person with infected person, recovery rate of infected person, death rate which is caused of disease, and birth rate. An endemic equilibrium point is asymptotically stable if basic reproduction ratio number more than one. Based on basic reproduction ratio number, epidemic case in population are affected by several things, they are the interaction rate between susceptible person with infected person, recovery rate of infected person, death rate which is caused of disease, birth rate, the factor which influence birth rate decrease, and intrinsic growth rate.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the mathematical spatial visualization ability of SMK (vocational high school) students through learning with Cabri 3D software on space geometry material. The study used quasi experimental method with posttest control group design. Experiments were conducted in two classes each used learning with Cabri 3D software, and conventional learning. The population used in this study was the students of class XI TKJ 2 SMK Rosma with 30 students as samples. Data collection techniques used in this study included spatial visualization ability test, the observation of students dan teachers’ activities, and students’ response questionnaire to learning with Cabri 3D software. The results of data analysis showed that learning used Cabri 3D software provided an improvement to the ability of mathematical spatial visualization on space geometry material. Learning with 3D cabri software had a positive impact between students’ activities and students' mathematical spatial visualization.

Abstract

Mathematical communication is very important for mathematic learning. But, mathematic learning in school can’t increase mathematical communication. This research aims to describe the implementation of  problem based learning to enhance students mathematical communication know increase of the mathematical communication through problem based learning in class VII MTs. Maarif Balong Ponorogo.This research is a classroom action  research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. This research subject is the students of class VII B MTs. Ma’arif Balong Ponorogo. The data collection technique used is a test block, at the end of each cycle to measure mathematical communication and observation to evaluate the adherence of teachers and students activities. The results showed that mathematical communication increased from the first cycle to the second cycle after the  implementation of problem-based learning model. This score average has been increased in accordance with the indicator of the success that was determined by the researchers. Based on the analysis of learning process  through observation sheets of problem-based learning model showed that the average percentage activities of teachersand students activities increased from the first cycle to the second cycle. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Mathematical Communication, Increase

Abstract

This research is intended to describe the students concept of the ring in the course of algebra structure 2 in terms of creative thinking in upper students. This research is included in this type of qualitative research. The subject of the study is a mathematics student who has taken the course of Structure Algebra 2 (Ring Theory). The subjects in this study are three students who have high math skills. Instrument  used in research 1) Test of Concept of Ring Concept (TPKR), 2) Interview Guidelines, 3) Creative Thinking Rubric, 4) Recording Equipment, 5) Documentation. Based on the results of the study and discussion, the findings involving the students' concept of the ring in the course of algebraic structure 2 in the upper sstudent can solve the problem in terms of explaining the associative nature, explaining the nature of the identity element, explaining the nature of each element having a good inverse. However, I can not only use one solution only, but it is less diverging and able to find other solutions. At the student level still not able to meet the original indicators in creative thinking

Abstract

Communication is very important in the context of the 21st century, not least in the field of mathematics. REACT strategic learning consists of five stages of learning, namely relating, experiencing, applying, cooperating, and transferring is one solution for building students' mathematical communication. The aim of this study was therefore to establish differences in the mathematical communication skills of students between students who followed REACT learning strategies and who were learning conventionally. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent design of the control group. The research sample was taken using the targeted sampling method and obtained the fourth class SDN Sawah Lega 1 as the experimental group and the fourth class SDN Cikahuripan as the control group. The instruments used in this study include mathematical communication tests (pretest post test). Based on the results of the data processing, the average score of the pre-test of the control group was 32.97 and the experimental group was 31.90. After receiving another treatment, the average post-test score of the control group was 59.60 and the experimental group was 76.57. The improvement of the mathematical communication skills of students in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, with a difference in the average post-test score of 16.97. The conclusion of this study is that the REACT strategy can be used as an alternative learning model that can be used to improve the mathematical communication skills of students.

Abstract

In this paper, we discuss about monoton sequences of self-adjoint operator which bounded. By considering the commutative properties of positive operator, we prove this sequence convergence to a self-adjoint operator. Abstract

This research showing comparison accuration regression model using Gauss LU Decomposition and Backward Method. Regression model in this research is a model that  explaining influence finance ratios against profit percentage in manufacture companies noted in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) year 2010. The regression model is an output of Gauss LU Decomposition using SPSS and Backward method. Furthermore in this research coefficient that compile regression model is comparing between of Gauss LU Decomposition and Backward method. The result showing that coefficient of Backward Method has some errors than coefficient of Gauss LU Decomposition, but the value of nine coefficient error not bigger that 10 percent and still can be accepted. In this research also delivered accuracy of accounting profit some manufacture companies using the two of that method.

Abstract

This research kind is a research and development. The purpose of this research is to produce module statistical material based PMR-approach for Class XI student of SMK valid, practical, and effective. The developmental research refers to the model ADDIE with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The field testing subjects is 15 students of class XI of SMK Brawijaya Ponorogo. The data were collected using an sheet module validation, achievement test and questionnaire practicality. The data were analyzed using the analysis of the mean scores and descriptive statistics. The results of this research are summarized valid module with revision. The module is said to be effective based on the results of tests on 15 students with the result that students who meet the criteria of the increase amounted to 86.67%. Modules are also said to be practically based questionnaire practicality filled teacher then analyzed and obtained a mean score of 4.60 or on the criteria very well.Keywords: module, PMR, statistical

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji hubungan antara rasio keuangan terhadap persentase keuntungan pada perusahaan-perusahaan yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) berdasarkan data Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) tahun 2010. Rasio keuangan yang dilibatkan dalam dalam penelitain ini antara lain Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price to Book Value (PBV), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity (DE),Laverage Ratio (LR), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Inventory Trun Over (ITO), Total Aset Turn Over (TAT), dan Return on Investment (ROI). Perusahaan-Perusahaan Manufaktur yang dijadikan sampel dalam peneltian ini antara lain: PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry Trading Company Tbk, PT Tunas Baru lampung Tbk, PT Siantar Top Tbk, PT Sinar Mas Argo Resources and Technology Tbk, PT Sekar Laut Tbk, PT Pioneerindo Gourmet International Tbk, PT Prasidha Aneka Niaga TBk, PT Mayora Indah Tbk, PT Aqua Golden Missisipi Tbk, PT Cahaya Kalbar Tbk.  Hubungan antara rasio keuangan terhadap persentase keuntungan pada perusahaan manufaktur dalam penelitian in berupa model regresi linear berganda yang dipengaruhi oleh rasio keuangan berupa PER, LR, GPM, ITO dan ROI dengan keakuratan model sebesar 60.8 persen. Kata Kunci: Perusahaan Manufaktur, Persentase Keuntungan, Rasio Keuangan, Model Regresi
