Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan di SMP YPAI Rahayu berangkat dari beberapa masalah dalam penulisan surat dinas. pembelajaran menulis surat dinas dianggap sulit karena kurangnya  perbendaharaan kosakata yang dimiliki oleh siswa, rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kesulitan siswa dalam menulis surat dinas, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menjawab rumusan masalah mengenai kesulitan siswa dalam menulis surat dinas, metode ini menggunakan metode jigsaw, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A berjumlah 26 orang, teknik pengumpulan data meliputi lembar tes dan diolah menggunakan Microsoft excel, hasil data penelitian ini mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 82,7 sangat tinggi tingkat keberhasilan siswa dalam menulis surat dinas. Pada penelitian ini peneliti mencoba untuk evaluasi hasil kerja siswa yang yaitu menulis surat dinas yang masih terdapat beberapa kesalahan diantaranya. (1) penggunaan bahasa baku dan bahasa tidak baku pada surat dinas, (2) penggunaan dan penempatan tanda baca, (3) penggunaan huruf kapital di dalam penulisan surat dinas, (4) kelengkapan struktur surat dinas. Metode yang digunakan dalam memecahkan masalah tersebut yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. sampel yang diambil adalah siswa kelas VII A. Dari data yang terkumpul diperoleh simpulan bahwa pembelajaran menulis surat dinas dengan menggunakan metode jigsaw dapat membantu siswa aktif dalam menulis surat dinas dengan sangat efektif karena jigsaw lebih mengkedepankan kekompakan kerja kelompok dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Writing is a skill to put ideas and ideas into writing. Writing skills are not easy to do in learning, because many students cannot put their ideas and ideas into writing. Exposition text is a text that needs to express ideas and ideas when writing it. Therefore, this research was conducted on the background of how the learning process and the results of students' exposition text writing skills improved. The purpose of this study was to determine students' exposition text writing skills using a mind mapping model. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class VIII A at SMPN 2 Cihampelas. The results showed that 18 students got a high score, 8 students got a sufficient score, and 6 students got a low score. The results of the study concluded that using a mind mapping model in class VIII A students could improve students' skills in writing exposition text.

Abstract

Researchers found problems in learning exposition text students still have difficulty in expressing ideas in the implementation of exposition text writing learning. Researchers use the mind mapping method as a way to provide stimulation to students in developing ideas or developing. The purpose of this research study is to study the differences and implementation of learning in students by using conventional methods and mind mapping methods in learning to write exposition text. The method used in this research is experimental type with the design used by One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. With the object of class X-MIA students who can be competed as many as 30 people. After spending is carried out using conventional methods and mind mapping methods in students in learning to write exposition text, then an assessment of the results obtained by the average score obtained. It can be seen from the results of the acquisition of pretest scores using the conventional method of 61.20 and an increase in the acquisition of posttest scores using the mind mapping method of 75.60 and an increase in the passing grade of students who exceeded the KKM which was originally only 7 people after being given treatment to 21 people.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest in learning in class X MIPA 2 SMAN 1 Cipongkor in literary material, namely folklore (saga) using pop up media, and to help students describe the structure of the story such as the background so that it can be better understood by readers using pop up media. This research method uses qualitative descriptions which aim to make natural descriptions of objects accurately. The data collection technique used during the research was test technique. The test aims to be a measuring tool for students' learning success in writing folk tales (saga) using pop up media. The results showed the students who scored on the initial test with an average score of 43 and the final test with an average value of 77.88. Thus, learning to write folk tales (saga) using pop media has increased very well.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rise of song lyrics whose meaning is already immoral. Some of the song lyrics even have meaning that is not appropriate. The purpose of this article is to analyze the composition and meaning contained in the lyrics of the Nadin Amizah song entitled seperti tulang. Researches are interested in analyzing song seperti tulang because in them there are special and beautiful words and meaning that can be learned. In addition, researches are also interested in knowing what kind of content is contained in the lyrics of the song, because in the lyrics of this song the meaning or hope to be conveyed. Then the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, a method by analyzing the data and the result of the data then processed in the form of a description. The subject analyzed was song lyrics seperti tulang. The result of the analysis of the lyrics of this song is that there is personification, rhetoric, and paradoxical cooperation. The meaning and message contained in the lyrics of this song is the story of human being who is good at hiding wounds even though he is often seen laughing.

Abstract

The ability of writing skills as something important for someone, especially for people who are in the world of education. They should be skilled in writing skills, but the reality in the field is very different. There are still many students who take the Indonesian language and literature education study program who have not mastered writing skills. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effect of the multiliteration learning model on the development of student writing? Based on the formulation of the problem, the aim of this study is to determine the effect of multiliteration on the writing development of Indonesian language and literature education students at the IKIP Siliwangi. The research instrument used using a questionnaire or questionnaire with a research sample of 10 people. The research method used a qualitative descriptive method. Thus the results of research on the effect of multiliteracy on the development of student writing show that 60% of students are interested in writing poetry, 30% of short stories, and 10% of novels. Thus the influence of this multiliterative learning model is very influential on the development of writing among students.

Abstract

Writing in tertiary institutions requires requirements both in terms of language, content and writing techniques, because tertiary institutions as an institution that will produce intellectuals, carry out writing activities as an integrated part of the entire teaching and learning process. Having knowledge about the material to be written, related to the above statement, this study discusses the ability to write scientific papers for students who have completed the combined course of writing scientific papers. The purpose of this research is to: (1) measure how students 'ability to write paper scientific papers, (2) students' ability to develop content, (3) students 'ability to organize paper scientific papers, (4) students' ability to determine vocabulary and good terms and right, (5) ability to sort and use appropriate language. This research was carried out using the qualitative descriptive method of population in this study. All 2016 a2 students in the Indonesian language study program who had finished joining the alloy course wrote scientific papers, because the population was too much to take samples randomly from the class so that there were 15 samples to study. . The results of the study were obtained from the results of observations of several papers that have been done by students, (1) from the content aspect the ability to write papers students get the highest score = 30, while the lowest score is 18, and the average score = 25.30. (2) from the organizational organizing aspect to the paper made the highest score = 15, and the lowest score = 13, and the average score 12.10. (3) from the vocabulary aspect and the term ability of students to get the highest score = 15, while the lowest score = 12, and the average = 12.40. (4) from the aspect of language use in a paper made by a student the highest score = 15, and the lowest score = 10, and the average = 13.10. (5) from the spelling and technical aspects of writing scientific papers the students made the highest score = 7, while the lowest score = 6, and the average = 6.10.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the intrinsic elements of a literary work. Literature is an essay from the results of human thoughts and feelings that arouses imagination. Literary work is a work that examines various problems of life. But in it has its own element of beauty. The type of literary work that is often read and describes a life is short stories. The short story length is very relative and in the short story it has elements that are different from other elements, the elements that are owned are the intrinsic elements. Intrinsic elements include themes, characters, plot, setting, point of view, and mandate. The method used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive method. This method aims to describe the facts in a short story. Researchers are interested in researching a short story entitled "Dilarang Menyanyi Di Kamar Mandi" by Seno Gumira Ajidarma, because this short story is a realist in telling social life that is easily carried away by other people's opinions and comments. This research produces intrinsic elements which include the themes contained in this short story including moral and social themes, the characters and their characterizations are divided into several with various kinds of characters available, the plot formed in this short story is a forward flow, the background used is in a the village alley and the mandate contained in this short story is the importance of maintaining good manners in terms of the new culture and culture so as not to cause misunderstandings so that far from social inequality, you must be able to understand the culture and culture of a place.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low student learning outcomes in writing fantasy texts and the effectiveness of the mind mapping method in learning to write fantasy texts. This is a problem that will be researched so that the formulation of the problem in the study is whether there are differences in student learning outcomes before and after using the mind mapping method? This study aims to determine the ability to write fantasy texts before and after using the mind mapping method. The research method used was pre-experiment in the form of one group pretest and posttest design. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Parongpong with the selected sample, namely VII A as the experimental class. The results of this study indicate a significant difference seen from the average posttest score after treatment is higher than the pretest results. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the mind mapping method is effectively used in learning to write fantasy texts in accordance with the identification of the structure and linguistic aspects.

Abstract

The use of language in life greatly affects the articulation of communication and interactions between humans. This interaction provides a unity to connect a difference. Therefore, diversity in language is unique in the field of communication. The important role of communication tools helps the articulation of social life. The use of language in educational institutions is very vulnerable to being influenced by the environment. This causes the mixed dialect used by Indonesian students to be very unique and diverse. In general, this study aims to determine the diversity of languages used by various students in educational institutions and their environment, especially Indonesian students. Specifically, the purpose of this article is to (1) describe the dialect of Indonesian students 'speech, and (2) to describe the use of code mixing for Indonesian students' speech. Researchers used descriptive qualitative methods as a research method and sociolinguistic approach. The research was conducted in order to solve problems faced in the field by using several stages of data collection (1) taking samples of the spoken language used by Indonesian students, (2) analyzing the use of dialects and code mixing on the spoken language of Indonesian students. Thus, the results of the study show that the use of dialects and mixed codes in communication that are often used by Indonesian students is evident. This study also describes the linguistic behavior carried out by Indonesian students directly through oral.
