Abstract

The word of Calligraphy comes from the French word which calligraphie where as the Greek word meaning called kalligraphia beautiful hand writing. Calligraphy obtain the highest position and is an expression of the spirit of Islam that is very typical. Calligraphy has two main attraction, namely the Al-Quran verses contained there in and the beauty style of letter. Calligraphy that has an appeal that is so high, it is necessary to use the maximum of calligraphy that for a kindness. With so many in this world polytheism Qur'anic verse about oneness of Allah has religious significance as a function to awaken mankind. For this reason, the authors are interested in creating works with the theme "On the Unity of Allah Arabic Calligraphy In serigraphy work". In the process embodiment of this work, the author show pure art work using screen printing graphic art with tools and material preparation phase, stabilization, and the realization and settlement. Writers produce 10 works of the oneness of Allah, among others Surah Al-Ikhlas, Paragraph 1-4), Shock (Az-Zalzalah), the Book of Allah and devotion (Surah Al-Baqharah, Paragraphs 1 and 2), Seawater (Surah Ar-Rahman , Paragraph 19), meeting of 2 water (Surah ar-Rahman, paragraph 20), Deeds (Surah As-Shafaat, Paragraph 96), Revelation and Revenge in the Hereafter (Surah Shaad, verse 66), Revelation and Revenge in the Hereafter (Surah Shaad, Paragraph 67), Revelation and Revenge in the Hereafter (Surah Shaad, verse 68), Faith (Letters Dzaryaat, Verse 20).Keywords: Calligraphy, the unity of Allah, serigraphy

Abstract

The purposes of the research are: (1) to describe the history of SitiManggapoh statue (2) to describefactors influencing the shape formation of Siti Manggapoh statue. This research is conducted by using qualitative method with descriptive approach. The data of this research are oral data from interviewand the a written source from the library as the secunder data.The data of this research were collected from observation, interview,documentation and bibliography. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the building of Siti Manggopoh statue was tied with the history of Manggopoh society struggling against the Dutch colonization; (2) The physical shape of the statue comprises of the base cornerstone, the base figure, and female statue’s figure. The techniques employed in the building of the statue arepelastering and carving. The process of the building started from designing, assembling, to finishing.Kata Kunci:Monument, Siti Manggopoh, Lubuk Basung

Abstract

The purpose of final work is to explore stories or note in diary of life into the paper with the expressionist style. The embodiment of ideas or arts, the writer presents a self portrait as a subject matter that describes the contents of the diary. In the creation of the work,the writer uses oil on canvas with a palette knife strokes and tehniques using intense colors. The style that used by the writer is expressionist style that developed since the 20th century in Germany who tend to use striking colors and shapes began to be distored. the writer has been created 10 works that is: 1) It necessary pain, 2) Only me, 3) Silent noise, 4) Pain happy, 5) I have I keep, 6) Power, 7) Peace with my self, 8) Peace with self, 9) Happiness is simple, 10) Crowded.Kata Kunci : Diary Kehidupan, Seni Lukis, Ekspresionis

Abstract

This thesis aims to visualize tourist attractions in Bukittinggi insurrealist paintings to introduce diversity and unique touristattractions Bukittinggi for the general public. Embodiment formssurrealist painting dominate forms, elongate, exalting andcombining attractions with other attractions in the media acrylic oncanvas in the style of surrealism. Method and steps in the processstart with the preparation, elaboration, synthesis, the realization ofthe concept to be presented to the public through exhibition. Thiswork provides information to the audience of the artwork on thevalues contained in the tourist attractions in Bukittinggi as thevalues of beauty, philosophy and history are illustrated through 10(ten) the title of surrealist painting.Kata Kunci: Objek Wisata, Bukittinggi, Seni Lukis, Surrealis
