Painan South coastal district located on the coast of this lot save the tourism potential, especially marine tourism. The problem faced is not yet optimal romotion of information communication tourism in Painan. For that need to be built visual branding Painan Tourism identity, visual branding design is aimed at promoting Painan Tour, as well as enhance the image of Painan tourism. This design methodology uses Mind Mapping. While the analytical approach using the SWOT analysis approach to find the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and hreats in visual paint branding Painan Tourism.Visual branding Painan tourism is applied to the main media that is manual book, and stationery set. Supporting media in the form of X-Banner, Wall Clock, sticker, keychain, T-shirt, mug, supporting media also serves as a tourism promotion media Painanpromosi wisata Painan.Kata kunci : Visual Branding, Wisata Painan, Pantai Selatan, Desain, Logogram.

The purpose in making this final work is to visualize betta fish as a metaphor of uman behavior, which deviates in society today, through the work of figurative bstract sculpture. The methods used in making this work are: 1) the preparation stage of observation, 2) elaboration, 3) the synthesis stage, 4) the realization of the concept that begins to make sketches, the process of work, and finising. 5) the stages in the exhibition are cataloging for works to be exhibited, displaying works in the room to be used for exhibition works, providing guestbooks, and ready for hibition opening. The results of the discussion terwujutlah seven sculptures that provide information and media learning in everyday life as stipulated in the sculpture entitled: 1. Arogan, 2. Show, 3. Individual, 4. Selfish, 5. Ruler, 6. Suppression, 7. Fighting.Kata kunci : Ikan Cupang, metafora, seni patung, abstrak figuratif

The purpose of this final work is to visualize the form, function and meaning of theÂ lothes of Penghulu Pesisir Selatan. It purpose to make people know well about theÂ ature of Minangkabau through that project. The form of this art is showing theÂ haracteristic which represent theme as a concept and the characters are relatedÂ ach other. Then, this creation is using the contemporary realist technique. In thisÂ echnique the author begins the proces with preparation, elaboration, synthesis andÂ ealization the concept, then it will be appeared through exhibition to the public. This research has a purpose to describe: 1)form, 2)function, 3)meaning of motif on traditional clotihing Bundo Kanduang in Gunung Talang Subdistrict. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive approach. Primary data sources are told directly by informants, data sources taken in the form of written notes (recording, picture) which is gotten from the informant by doing the interview, documentation, and literature study. Motif comes from flora, fauna, and geometrical. The function of motif consist of personal, physical, and social. The purpose of the creation of the final work is to visualize the origami stork. Methods in this activity include preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, completion stage until displayed in exhibition activities. The style carried in this creation process is surrealism. This work provides the basic knowledge to the community about origami art which is a form of interest in origami stork, illustrated through 10 (ten) titles of work in surreal style: Life Frame, Freedom, Senbazuru (1000 origami stork), Sadako sasaki, Cage of freedom, Transformation freedom, Friendship with him, Still about loyalty, Endangered, Dancing on the clouds.Keywords: Origami Stork, Painting, Surrealism

The creation of this final work aims how to visualize the reality of fisherman's child in the coastal areas. Fishermen child couldn’t enjoy education still have not gotten the right right when past the period where they should be ditahap education. The methods and work processes used in the creation of this graphic art work through several stages: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, finishing. From this graphic artwork it can be concluded that there are still many fishermen who do not go to school because they help their parents to earn a living. Study aimed to determine the effect of appreciation card media use the learning outcomes of arts and culture sub-field of study in art class VII SMP Negeri 3 Mandau. The hypothesis of study is there a difference between learning outcomes appreciation of art using instructional media appreciation card with learning outcomes using conventional media. Sampels were students of class VII with a number of 41 students between experimental class and control class. Research data was colleted by achievment test and data are the analyzed using the t test. This study shows that the use instructional media card and a good appreciation of the possitive effect in improving student learning outcomes in the field of fine arts.Keyword : Learning Media, Card Appreciation, Learning Outcomes and Art Study

The aims of the creating of this work is How to visualize timeless discipline in graphic art. Ths is work of out contain, with objects and objects in surreal style using serigraphy techniques through canvas media.The method the creating of this graphic artwork through several stages: a) preparation, b) Elaboration c) Synthesis d) Concept Realization, and the finishing process of the work e) Art Exhibition. The purpose of this work is to visualize the parasitic plant as a medium expressed in serigraphy , taking philosophy from the traits of living parasite from other trees and controlling the tree. The method used in the creation of this final work is a production printing. Every work that writers create is intertwined with each other because it has the same themes, ideas and concepts. After going through a long process then created the final work of the author with 10 titles. : “the King.” “the Political Chair.” “Bekap.” “Unbalanced.” “Provocation.” “Rare.” “Mutually blame.” “Lose.” “Tenth,” “Pawn.” is expected to art students after.
