Abstract

Abstract: Bibliometric Mapping on the Research “Merdeka Belajar” Using Vosviewer. Objectives: To find out the development of research on the topic of Merdeka Belajar. Methods: The method is done by tracing articles in national journals with Publish or Peris then stored in the form of a Research Information System (RIS) and analyzed with VosViewer. Findings: The topic of Merdeka Belajar started in 2019 and increased rapidly every year. The authors who published the most on this topic were Reyna Virgina Nona, Fauzan Putraga Albahri, and Abdus Salam as of February 15, 2022. The most total link authors are Ummu Aiman, Nanda Alfan Kurniawan., Roimil Latifa, Ainur Rofieq, Randi Saputra, and Eko Susetyarini. The most dominant topics appeared were “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka”, “MBKM”, “Covid” and “Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar”. Conclusion: Through bibliometric studies, researchers are able to determine topics related to the researched and open gaps for other researchers while looking at maps between topics, and authors with each other.Keywords: mapping map, merdeka belajar, bibliometric, VosViewer, publish or perish.Abstrak: Studi Bibliometric Terhadap Merdeka Belajar Dengan VosViewer. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui perkembangan penelitian terhadap topik Merdeka Belajar. Metode: Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan menelusuri artikel di jurnal nasional dengan publish or peris kemudian disimpan dalam bentuk Research Information System (RIS) dan dianalisis dengan VosViewer. Temuan: Topik Merdeka Belajar dimulai sejak tahun 2019 dan meningkat pesat setiap tahun. Nama author yang paling banyak mempublikasikan topik ini adalah Reyna Virgina Nona, Fauzan Putraga Albahri, dan Abdus Salam per tanggal 15 Februari 2022. Total link author yang paling banyak adalah Ummu Aiman, Nanda Alfan Kurniawan, Roimil Latifa, Ainur Rofieq, Randi Saputra, and Eko Susetyarini. Abstract

Abstract: Comparison and Correlation between Attitude and Process Skills in Mathematics: The Case of Public and Islamic Middle School in Indonesia. Objectives: to find out the comparison and relationship between process skills and students’ interest in learning mathematics in junior high school. Methods: using a quantitative descriptive survey design. A total of 140 students from SMPN 35 Batanghari and MTsN 5 Batanghari were purposively selected as research samples. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings: The results of the t-test of students’ process skills and interest in learning at SMPN 35 Batanghari and MTsN 5 Batanghari obtained sig. (2-tailed) is less than 0.05. Analysis of the correlation between the interests and process skills of students obtained the value of sig. (2-tailed) in each school is less than 0.05. Conclusion: There are differences in students’ interest and process skills between each school and students’ interest is significantly correlated with process skills. Interest in learning will create curiosity, so that it can improve students’ process skills.Keywords: mathematics, attitude, process skills, public school, Islamic school.Abstrak: Perbandingan dan Korelasi antara Sikap dan Keterampilan Proses dalam Matematika: Kasus SMP Negeri dan Islam di Indonesia. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui perbandingan dan hubungan antara keterampilan proses dan minat siswa pada pelajaran matematika di sekolah menengah pertama. Metode: menggunakan desain survei deskriptif kuantitatif. Sebanyak 140 siswa dari SMPN 35 Batanghari dan MTsN 5 Batanghari dipilih secara purposive sebagai sampel penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan ilmu statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Temuan: Hasil uji-t keterampilan proses siswa dan minat belajar siswa di SMPN 35 Batanghari dan MTsN 5 Batanghari diperoleh sig. (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari 0,05. Analisis korelasi antara minat dan keterampilan proses siswa diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) di setiap sekolah kurang dari 0,05. Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan minat dan keterampilan proses siswa dimasing-masing sekolah dan minat siswa berkorelasi signifikan dengan keterampilan proses. Abstract

Abstract: Instructional Strategies Employed by Elementary Teachers in Strengthening Pupils’ Engagement and Academic Performance in Inclusive Classrooms. Objectives: This quantitative study ascertained Filipino teachers’ instructional strategies to strengthen pupils’ engagement and academic performance in select Philippine elementary schools. Methods: It employed the descriptive survey method, with questionnaire as data collection tool, and descriptive and inferential statistics as statistical tools. Findings: Results disclosed that classroom management, peer support, and individualized education plan were the teachers’ leading instructional strategies while all instructional strategies were assessed as “Effective.” Pupils’ engagement was “High” while their performance in English, Mathematics, and Science subjects was “Fair.” Furthermore, teachers and pupils’ perceptions on the effectiveness of instructional strategies and their assessments on pupils’ engagement did not significantly differ. Conclusion: Teachers must employ varied instructional strategies to help learners effectively learn and to ensure that classrooms are inclusive to make them a more conducive place for teaching and learning.Keywords: instructional strategies, pupils’ engagement, academic performanceAbstrak: Strategi Pembelajaran yang digunakan Guru Sekolah Dasar dalam Memperkuat Meningkatkan Keterlibatan dan Performa Akademik Siswa di Kelas Inklusif. Tujuan: Studi kuantitatif ini mengkonfirmasi strategi pembelajaran guru Filipina untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan performa akademik siswa di sekolah dasar Filipina. Metode: metode survei deskriptif digunakan dengan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data, dan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial sebagai metode statistik. Temuan: Hasil mengungkapkan bahwa pengelolaan kelas, dukungan sejawat, dan rencana pendidikan mandiri adalah strategi pengajaran utama guru. Keterlibatan siswa tergolong tinggi sedangkan performa siswa dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris, Matematika, dan Sains tergolong sedang. Selanjutnya, persepsi guru dan murid tentang efektivitas strategi pembelajaran dan penilaian keterlibatan murid tidak berbeda secara signifikan. Kesimpulan: Guru harus menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang bervariasi untuk membantu peserta didik belajar secara efektif dan untuk memastikan bahwa kelas menjadi tempat yang lebih kondusif untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar.Kata kunci: strategi pembelajaran, keterlibatan siswa, performa akademik.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i2.202211

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce a model of scientific writing training based learning in accordance with the needs and characteristics of teachers of public primary schools in the Lampung province. Product development and training devices include 1) training models, and 2) training procedure of writing scientific papers based learning. Methods in the development used R D model which consists of 1) the early stages of the search and gathering information activities, and 2) the first stage of the search and information gathering activities, planning and development of early product format. The early stages of the study subjects were teachers at SDN in South Lampung regency, Pesawaran, Bandar Lampung and Central Lampung academic year 2012-2013. Early stage activities were carried out since November 2012 until May 2013. The subjects of the first phase are principals and teachers at SDN 12 districts in Lampung province. Data collection was conducted in June-September 2013. The total number of subjects' needs of the first phase is 72 teachers and 12 principals. The results of this study were 1) prototype or draft training model, and 2) training procedures.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model diklat penulisan karya ilmiah berbasis learning yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik guru-guru sekolah dasar negeri di propinsi Lampung. Produk pengembangan perangkat diklat mencakup 1) model diklat, dan 2) prosedur diklat penulisan karya ilmiah berbasis learning. Metode dalam pengembangan ini menggunakan model R D yang terdiri dari antara lain 1) tahap awal dengan kegiatan penelusuran dan pengumpulan informasi, dan 2) tahap pertama dengan kegiatan penelusuran dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan dan pengembangan format produk awal. Subyek penelitian tahap awal adalah guru-guru SDN di kabupaten Lampung Selatan, Pesawaran, Bandar Lampung dan Lampung Tengah tahun pembelajaran 2012-2013. Kegiatan tahap awal dilakukan sejak bulan Nopember 2012 sampai Mei 2013. Subyek penelitian tahap pertama adalah kepala sekolah dan guru SDN di 12 kabupaten yang ada di propinsi Lampung. Abstract

Abstract: Contribution of Integrated Learning through STEM Education in ASEAN Countries. Objectives: This article reviews and criticizes research reports on STEM education in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations or ASEAN countries. Methods: The study conducted through ACI database as an investigation source, a total of 24 articles were reviewed between the years 2013 and 2019. Data were analyzed by the main key of pedagogical practices, also is focused on the implementations of STEM education in an effective classroom. Findings: Findings showed that STEM education used in a variety of integrated pedagogical practices by different concepts and contexts.The process of STEM learning emphasizes on engineering process than the science process. It is generally drawn by 5D in a thematic approach: define, design, develop, debrief, and disseminate. Conclusions: Technology and design-based learning are calling for future research and the contribution of pedagogical practices in a diverse classroom.Keywords: pedagogy, ASEAN, integrated learning, STEM education, pedagogical practices.Abstrak: Kontribusi Pembelajaran Terpadu melalui Pendidikan STEM di Negara-negara ASEAN. Tujuan: Artikel ini mengkaji dan mengkritik laporan penelitian tentang pendidikan STEM di negara-negara ASEAN. Metode: Penelitian dilakukan melalui database ACI sebagai sumber investigasi dengan total 24 artikel yang dikaji berkisar antara tahun 2013 dan 2019. Data dianalisis melalui pedoman utama praktik-praktik pedagogis, juga difokuskan pada implementasi pendidikan STEM didalam kelas. Temuan: Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan STEM digunakan dalam berbagai praktik pedagogis terintegrasi dengan konsep dan konteks yang berbeda. Proses pembelajaran STEM menekankan pada proses rekayasa daripada proses sains. Secara umum digambarkan dengan 5D dalam pendekatan tematis yaitu: mendefinisikan, merancang, mengembangkan, menanya, dan menyebarluaskan. Abstract

Abstract: Parental involvement in fostering the character of child discipline in school. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to explore the role that parents play in improving the character of children’s discipline in school. Methods: The study population consisted of 7 elementary schools with a target sample consisting of 8 school personnel and 27 parents. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews to be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Findings: The most common problem at school is the dynamics of child discipline. The discipline of parents in their children’s education can improve discipline, self-esteem, cognitive development, social interaction skills, and academics as a whole. The role of parents in encouraging student discipline, it is clear that parents must be involved as shown by most respondents (66.67% of parents and 62.50% of teachers). Conclusions: Designing interventions aimed at harmonizing parental and teacher assessments in certain activities related to primary school education will be beneficial in fostering child disciplinecharacter education. The results of this study also have implications for child care and protection.Keywords: Parental involvement, school personnel, children’ discipline.Abstrak: Keterlibatan orang tua dalam menumbuhkan karakter disiplin anak di sekolah. Tujuan: Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengeksplorasi peran  orang tua dalam meningkatkan karakter disiplin anak di sekolah. Metode: Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 7 sekolah dasar dengan 8 personil sekolah dan 27 orang tua sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara untuk dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan: Masalah yang paling umum di sekolah adalah dinamika disiplin anak. Keterlibatan orang tua meningkatkan disiplin, harga diri, perkembangan kognitif, keterampilan interaksi sosial, dan akademisi bagi anak secara keseluruhan. Sebagian besar responden (66,67% orang tua dan 62,50% guru) sepakat bahwa orang tua harus dilibatkan. Kesimpulan: Perancangan intervensi untuk menyelaraskan penilaian orang tua dan guru pada kegiatan tertentu yang terkait dengan pendidikan siswa sekolah dasar akan bermanfaat dalam menumbuhkan pendidikan karakter disiplin anak.Kata kunci: Peranan orang tua, personil sekolah, disiplin anak-anak. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v8.i2.201807

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find written argumentability and saw an increase in students science literacy through student worksheet based argumentation SWH abilities. The method used is a quasi-experimental. The design of this research was pretest and posttest non equivalent between the experiment class and control class. The result shawed that using student worksheet written argumentation ability skill get sufficient characterized that was 71%. The results showed that were significant difference between in the experimental class with N-gain that was 0.72 and the control class with N-gain that was 0.16.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berargumentasi tertulis dan literasi sains siswa melalui LKPD berbasis kemampuan argumentasi SWH. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan non equivalent control group design yaitu dengan melihat perbedaan pretest maupun postest antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian meunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKPD berbasis kemampuan argumentasi-SWH dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berargumentasi tertulis sebesar 71% dengan kriteria cukup. Peningkatan literasi sains yang signifikan terjadi pada kelas eksperimen dengan N-gain = 0,72 berbeda secara signifikan dengan kelas kontrol (N-gain = 0,16).Kata kunci: LKPD, argumentasi, literasi sains

Abstract

Abstract: The Relationship Between Learning Independence and Attitude Towards Science for Junior High School Students. Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between learning independence and student attitudes on science subjects in junior high school. Methods: This research is an associative quantitative research. The instrument used was a questionnaire to obtain science learning independence data. Data collection on science learning independence is done through giving questionnaires to students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Findings: There are learning independece and four indicators of student attitudes towards science subjects include: (1) social implications for science; (2) attitude towards investigations in science; (3) adoption of scientific attitudes; (4) Enjoyment in learning science. The relationship between learning independence and students’ attitudes on Pearson coefficient 0.657. Conclusions: A significant and positive relationship presented by learning independence and attitudes on science subjects in junior high school.Keywords: Learning independence; student attitudes; natural science subjects, junior high school.Abstrak: Hubungan Antara Kemandirian Belajar dan Sikap Sains bagi Siswa SMP. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemandirian belajar dan sikap siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di SMP. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif asosiatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner untuk memperoleh data kemandirian belajar sains. Pengumpulan data tentang kemandirian belajar sains dilakukan melalui pemberian kuesioner kepada siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Temuan: Kemandirian belajar dan empat indikator sikap siswa terhadap mata pelajaran sains meliputi: (1) implikasi sosial untuk sains; (2) sikap terhadap investigasi dalam sains; (3) adopsi sikap ilmiah; (4) Kenikmatan belajar sains. Hubungan antara kemandirian belajar dan sikap siswa signifikan pada koefisien Pearson 0,657. Abstract

The quasi-experiment research about the problem-solving models aimed to know in increased understandingArgentometric students. The research was conducted at FKIP Unila by using non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this research was students of students P.S. P. Chemistry of FKIP Unila for 2011/2012 academic year. The result of this research showed that the average n-Gain in the A class was 0.33 and in the B class was 0.45. Therefore, it was concluded that learning withproblem-solving model in increasing understanding students Argentometry.Keywords: Understanding on Argentometric, Problem Solving ModelPenelitian kuasi eksperimen tentang model pembelajaran problem solving ini, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman Argentometri mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di FKIP Unila dengan menggunakan desain Non-Equivalent Control Group. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa P. S. Pendidikan Kimia, FKIP Unila, tahun akademik 2011/2012. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata n-Gain kelas A sebesar 0,55 dan kelas B sebesar 0,30. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model problem solving dapat meningkatkan pemahaman Argentometri mahasiswa.Kata kunci: pemahaman argentometri, model problem solving

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan tehnik belajar Draw LabelCaption yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa dalam teks deskriptif.Peneliti melakukan beberapa tehnik analisis data; menandai siswa, menilai hasil siswa olehdua penilai, t-test, deskripsi statistik tentang sikap belajar siswa dan kalibrasi. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai siswa di pra siklus adalah 58.21, pada siklus 1 adalah63.38, dan pada siklus 2 adalah 74.68. Sikap belajar siswa juga menunjukkan kemajuanditandai dengan bertambahnya minat belajar siswa menggunakan model belajar DLC.Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menulis siswa dalamteks deskriptif meningkat dan mencapai target nilai yang diharapkan.This research investigated about the implementation of Draw Labeland Caption (DLC) to improve the students ability in writing descriptive text. The researcher usedthe following data analysis technique; coding the students, rating their works with two raters, and t-test, descriptive statistics of learning attitude and calibration. The result showed that the studentsaverage score in pre-liminary was 58.21, in cycle-1 was 63.38, and in cycle-2 was 74.68. Thestudents attitude was improved marked with the increasing number of students who liked the DLCmodel of teaching.Upon this research it can be concluded that the students ability in writing descriptivetext is improved and reached the target of score.Keywords: DLC, descriptive text, CAR. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v7.i1.201705
