While factors which were not related to anxiety in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were impaired functional ability (p value = 0,517). Factors that related to depression in patients with type 2 DM were age (p value=0.007), education (p value = 0,001), comorbidities (p value = 0,000) and family support (p value = 0,040). While factors unrelated to anxiety of patients with type 2 DM are long period of type 2 DM (p value = 0,797) and functional ability disorder (p value = 0,435). Conclusion of the factors related to anxiety of patient with type 2 DM are age, long period of type 2 DM, education, comorbidities and family support, while factors that unrelated to anxiety of patients with type 2 DM are functional ability disorder, factors that related to depression of patients with type 2 DM are age, education, comorbidities, and family support, while factors that unrelated to depression of patients with type 2 DM are long period of type 2 DM and functional ability disorder.

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Failure (CRF) is a condition of chronic kidney function decline that is progressive and irreversible. One of the effective actions in handling this condition is hemodialysis. CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy mostly experience anxiety and decreased quality of life. This study aims to determine the relationship of anxiety with quality of life in CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis at Rasyida Kidney Hospital Medan. The research method used correlation analytic with cross sectional approach. The study population was all patients undergoing hemodialysis with a sampling technique that was purposive sampling with a total sample of 76 people. The research instrument used the Zung Self Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) and WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. The results of the study were analyzed using the Spearmen Rank test. The results of this study indicated the anxiety of the majority of respondents with a moderate category of 49 respondents (64.5%) and the quality of life of patients undergoing majority hemodialysis with a bad category of 42 respondents (55.3%). Spearmen rank test analysis showed that there was a relationship between anxiety and the quality of life of CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis with value of p = 0.006 p

Abstract

The occurrence of pressure ulcer is directly related to the duration of immobility. If the suppression continues for a long time, small vascular thrombosis and tissue necrosis will occur. In bone protrusions that hold weight are more susceptible to pressure sores and are often found in people with limited movement because they are unable to change positions to remove pressure. Objective is to determine the relationship of mobility ability with the degree of pressure ulcer on inpatients at Wonosari Hospital in Gunungkidul Regency. This research was non-experimental research with cross-sectional design. The samples in this study were patients treated in the surgical, internal and neurological ward of Wonosari Hospital in Gunungkidul Regency. The sampling technique used the simple random sampling technique. While the statistical test used the Pearson test. Results showed that the average scale of mobility ability of inpatients was 3 scale (mean 2,70), while the average value of the degree of pressure ulcer in the inpatient ward of Wonosari Hospital was degree I (mean 1,32). Conclusion of this research was there was a significant correlation between mobility ability and the degree of pressure ulcer of the patient in the inpatient room at Wonosari Hospital in Gunungkidul Regency with a significance value of 0.000 (ρ < 0,05).
