Abstract

To understand the importance of learning styles have because in reality that students learn in his preferred learning style will certainly giving out good results. This study aims to determine trends in student learning styles Xl class majoring in science and social studies department at the high school. The method in this research using descriptive method, the number of population in this study are all high school students are students of class XI as many as 306 students. The samples in the study is proportionate random sampling technique, with the number of 78 students, who captured 25% of the total population. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a scale of psychology. Data analysis techniques that are used is descriptive analysis with formula persentase.Uji validity of using product moment correlation formula. Based on the results of descriptive analysis by percentage, obtained no learning style class XI student majoring in science tend to have a visual learning style amounted to 37.51%, which the Social Sciences has a visual learning style amounted to 38.83%. Thus the learning styles of students majoring in science class XI students majoring in social studies in high school had the same tend divisual.

Abstract

This study was conducted to know how self-efficacy to the eight grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Sampit in the Academic year of 2016/2017. The population in this study were all eight grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Sampit in the Academic year of 2016/2017, amounting to 259 students. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling technique in which the samples were was 77 students. Data collection techniques used by is questionnaire. Data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. The research shows most students have efficacy in the learning process at medium category in the amount of 51 respondents (66.23%) consisting of 27 male respondents and 24 female respondents. For the group of respondents who have low self-efficacy categories were 10 respondents (12.99%), which consists of six respondents male and 4 female respondents. And only 16 respondents (20.78%) consisting of one male respondents and 15 female respondents who have high self-efficacy. Self-efficacy the eight grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Sampit, most tend to have self-efficacy with categories were as many as 51 respondents with a percentage of 66.23%.

Abstract

The ability of self-control in every individual is very important because it can reduce or suppress negative emotions that arise unnoticed. An individual who can control his emotions will be able to make decisions wisely. This study is intended to know the influence of self control on negative emotion tested on grade XI science program students of SMAN 2 Sampit period 2015/ 2016. Hypothesis floated in this research was there is positive and significant influences between self control and negative emotion on grade XI science program students. This study is uses quantitative method expostfacto. There were 195 students from grade XI science program tested in this study and the samples taken were 25% from the whole and found 50 students as the respondent. Furthermore, the technique used on this phase was Proporsional Random Sampling. The result of the data analysis in this study uses the hypothesis test with t test shows that the score of ttest were -4,388 and the significances were 0,000 (p ≤ 0,05). Furthermore, the coefficient determination (R2) found were 0,286 which means, in this study, self control influenced to negative emotion as big as 0,286 or 28,6%. This result proved that self control significantly and possitively influences to negative emotion on grade XI science program students of SMAN 2 Sampit period 2015/ 2016, so the hypothesis floated in this research is accepted.

Abstract

Sources of learning and independence of learning have an important effect on student learning outcomes because with the presence of learning resources in school and high learning independence can improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of partial and simultaneous learning resources and independence of learning on the students' economic subjects class XI MAN Sampit year 2016 / 2017.The approach in this study is ex-postfacto research with a population of 304 students. Sampling technique used is a proportional random sampling technique in which the sample amounted to 79 students.Tekhnik data analysis is done linear regression multiplier that has fulfilled the requirements analysis test. The results of this study indicate that there is a partially positive and simultaneous influence of the source and independence of learning on the learning outcomes of economic subjects of students of class XI MAN Sampit 2016/2017 academic year.

Abstract

From interviews with one of the students obtained the fact that student will be less interst in following the lesson if the teacher lat to class and they would like a lesson if the teacher how to teach it interesting and fun. Vice versa if the does not like a lesson, it is because she does not like the way teachers teach. If she did not like one of the teachers who teach in the classroom, she is usually less attention and understand what is convenyed by the teacher. [Mely, interviews20 April 2015]. The purpose of this research is to know something no influence perceptions of student discipline teachers teaching against IPS interest in learning subjects in class VIII at SMP Negeri 9 Sampit in academic year 2015/2016. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The type of approach used is a correlation study.Based on the survey result revealed that the values of R square (R2) to the percentage contribution of the variable students perceptions about the discipline of teachers in teaching the learning interest of 16,7% and the remaining 83% is influence by other factors such individual factors, and social factors.

Abstract

Student which lecture without working in the reality own the low IPK though no double responsible and reason making student which do not work the to leave responsible as purification student making its IPK low. however others also there student which do not work but achievement remain to in the field of this academic. This is proved by IPK high obtained. This research is to know the difference Make An Index To The Cumulative Achievement (laboring IPK) Student and do not work. Population in this research is entire/all Economic student Prody and BK amounting to 238 student. Technique analyse the data used is test of Mann Whitney. Result from this research the existence of difference Make An Index To The Cumulative Achievement ( laboring IPK) Student and do not put hand to the student of STKIP Muhammadiyah Sampit of year akademik 2015 / 2016. Higher student employee scores of 15.79% compared with the non-working student's IPK of 6.29%. The difference is 9.5%.

Abstract

The level of education and parental income affects the interest of the students continue their studies to a higher level, parents who have a background of good education and have a high income, will always give a good motivation for their children to continue their studies to a higher level , This study aims to determine the effect of parental education and income levels of the interest to continue their studies to university. The population in this study were all students of class XII in SMAN 3 Sampit in the academic year 2015/2016, amounting to 262 students, which is then taken 66 students as sample in this study. The approach used is correlational research. The results showed that partially there is no influence of parental educational level of the interest of the students to continue their studies to university while the level of parental income significantly affect interest to continue their studies to university. Simultaneously, there was the influence of parents' education and income levels against the interest of the students to continue their studies to university

Abstract

Parents have a very influential role in providing education as a personal development effort of children. Parents can have a creative child if they apply appropriate methods of educating children. In the right way, the creativity of the child will definitely grow well and optimally. This study was conducted to determine the influence of the role of parents to the creativity of children. The Population of this research are 244 students of VIII grade in SMP Negeri 4 Sampit and then only 25% or 63 students will be objects. Analysis techniques of this research is simple linear regrecy analysis.Based on the results of this study that is the contribution of parents to the development of children's creativity in SMP Negeri 4 Sampit 2016/2017 academic year. Contribution of parent's role to creativity is 0,260 or 26%. It means that the parent role variable influences 26% to the creativity of the child.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the effect of learning motivation to the learning difficulties in eight class at smp negeri 3 sampit in the academic year 2016/2017. Population in this study are all Class VIII of at SMP Negeri 3 Sampit totaling 286 students, which later than 286 students 114 students were acquired as the sample with techniques propotional simple random sampling for 2 weeks. Data learning motivation to the learning difficulties obtained from questionnaires, which is obtained meet regulations questionnaire validity and reliability instrument. Analysis techniques in this study using simple linear regression, meet regulations classic assumption test (normality, linearity, and autocorrelation, T test, and the coefficient of determination. Based on the analysis, obtained t_count equal to 8,256, because t_count>t_table (8,256 > 1,984) then the hypothesis is accepted, that there is an the effect on learning motivation learning difficulties in eigth classat SMP Negeri 3 Sampit in the academic year 2016/2017. While coefficient of determination of 0,378 which means that in this study the effect if learning motivation 37,8% to learning difficulties satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' self-confidence. This research is conducted to know the confidence to express opinion in student discussion. Population in this research is all student of economic education program at STKIP Muhammadiyah Sampit which amounts to 298 students, which then taken 76 students as sample in this research. Data analysis technique used is scoring assisted by SPSS 15. The result of analysis shows that confidence convey the opinion in student discussion at STKIP Muhammadiyah Sampit Academic year 2016/2017 have confidence with medium category as much 38 students with 49.99% percentace.
