Abstract

This study aims 1) To describe the PTK improvement of cognitive learning outcomes (knowledge) of students of class VI on learning civics through Type Pair Checks at SDN 45 Jambak Pesisir Selatan. 2) To describe the PTK to increase the affective learning outcomes (responsibility) of the sixth-grade students on the learning of Civics through the type of learning Pair Checks at SDN 45 Jambak Pesisir Selatan. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final test cycle. The subjects of this study are students of class VI, which amounted to 12 people. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the use of Pair Checks Learning Type can improve the learning outcomes of Civics in grade VI SDN 45 Jambak Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

As an elementary school, there are many obstacles faced by SD Negeri 04 Lunang, such as the difficulty of obtaining professional teachers. Therefore, it is necessary to improve in various fields, especially the improvement of the quality of Master. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers in preparing the completeness of teaching and determine the appropriate steps to improve the ability of teachers in preparing the completeness of teaching. With In-House Training, all teachers are expected to have sufficient knowledge, understanding and experience, especially in the preparation of teaching comprehensiveness, which includes the Annual Program (Prota), Semester Program (Promes) and Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) in addition to other supporting facilities such as syllabus, education calendar, teaching schedule and student list. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 04 Lunang. Data collection is done through questionnaire, observation and documentation. There is an increase in the ability of teachers in preparing the completeness of teaching after In-House Training stage 1, and each teacher showed significant improvement. In-House Training is one of the most effective patterns to improve Teacher's ability to develop teaching comprehensiveness.

Abstract

This research is motivated by activity and result of study IPA, especially biology which still low. Of the 23 students of class V, only nine complete learners and 29 students are not complete in achieving Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM) on science learning in SDN. 29 Siguntur Muda Koto XI Tarusan. This is because students are less like learning science. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the cooperative learning model type play answer. In this, studies are class V learners who numbered 23 students. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model type of play answers can improve the activity and learning outcomes of science student's class V SDN. 29 Siguntur Muda Koto XI Tarusan.

Abstract

Learning widespread flat on students SDN 04 Lunang District Lunang still conventional. Learning is still teacher-centered, so boring for students. For that researchers interested in improving the process of learning mathematics, especially learning square and rectangular area through the approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). CTL approach is felt able to overcome the existing problems. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Research data in the form of information about process and data result of action obtained from the result of observation, test result, discussion and documentation. Researcher's subjects consisted of grade III students of SDN. 04 Lunang which amounted to 29 people. Data analysis was done by using the data analysis model. The research procedure is done through four stages: 1) planning 2) implementation 3) observation 4) reflection. The result of this research is CTL approach can improve the learning result of the wide area of wake up that is about the area of square and rectangle.

Abstract

This research started from reality at school that in learning process learners just sit, silence, listen, and record material submitted by a teacher. This is because teachers are less able to develop learning models that can enable learners optimally in the learning process. As a result, learners are often not excited and feel saturated in learning, so that the learning outcomes are low. To improve the activity and learning outcomes of learners in IPS learning done PTK by using the STAD type cooperative model. STAD type cooperative model is a learning model that puts learners in groups of five or six students. This research was conducted in class V SDN 36 Rangeh Kecamatan Lengayang, with the number of students 27 people. From the results of research conducted it can be concluded that by using STAD type cooperative learning model can improve the activity and learning outcomes of learners in learning social studies in class V SDN 36 Rangeh Kecamatan Lengayang.

Abstract

This research originated from the fact in elementary school that learning is often dominated by teachers as a source of information. The problem is caused by the teacher's learning is more delivery by using the lecture method, so that students become passive listeners. The value of learning comprehension of IPA by using the contextual approach in cycle I and cycle II have increased, where the mastery learning cycle, I students with an average of 64% and in the cycle II is 93%. In addition, students have been trained to find out, test it in study groups and then communicate it to other friends. Thus it can be concluded that the learning of science using a contextual approach can improve student learning outcome's class VI SDN 45 Jambak Kecamatan Bayang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low of IPS study a result of fourth graders of SDN 14 Siguntur Muda Kecamatan Koto XI Tarusan. The purpose of the study was to describe the improvement of students' IPS learning outcomes with the Learning Starts With A Question Model. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is implemented in two cycles. The data source is the fourth grader of 17 students. The instruments used are students 'affective field assessment sheets, teacher activity sheets and students' comprehension tests. Based on the results of the analysis of the affective domain of students is to write questions and make summaries. Percentage of writing questions and making a summary of each cycle has increased. From the data obtained can be concluded that there is an increase of learning outcomes IPS fourth-grade students SDN 14 Siguntur Muda District Koto XI Tarusan after using Learning Starts With A Question model.

Abstract

This classroom action research is conducted to improve the writing ability of elementary school students. The reality in the field that applies conventional learning leads to saturation in students so that the negative impact on the ability to write the essay of the students. Use of concept maps can improve the ability to write essay writing elementary school students, in writing essay description. Based on the results of the study the use of concept maps proved to improve the ability to write an essay description of the students concerned. The enhancement of the writing ability of this description can be seen from the quality of the essay produced by the students, both in terms of capitalization, punctuation, ideas / ideas presented, and the demands of sentences used.

Abstract

The teachers of  SDN 01 Lunang has compiled RPP in accordance with basic competence (KD) subjects. However, there are still various shortcomings concerning preparation before the preparation of RPP, in the preparation of RPP, as well as in the implementation of learning. This research is based on the condition of the field were not all teachers of SDN 01 Lunang, especially those with honorary status, have the opportunity to attend the work shop or KTSP training, the KKG activity rarely discusses the lesson plan. Such conditions make teachers' perceptions of SDN 01 Lunang regarding the RPP they need to prepare before implementing lessons in classrooms, studios or other places of learning to be diverse and less comprehensive. This research is in the form of School Action Research, using the descriptive method. Data collection technique in this research is interview, observation, and discussion. The subjects of this study were teachers of SDN 01 Lunang, which amounted to 12 teachers. The result of research shows that there is an increase of teacher competence in preparing RPP.
