Abstract

Hypertension is one of the main cardiovascular risk factors which is the cause of premature death in the world community. Hypertension is dangerous for the elderly. The elderly often do not know that they are people with hypertension, it is only known after examination of other diseases or organ damage has occurred. Organ damage is the target as a result of the large increase in the degree of blood pressure that is not controlled and who does not receive treatment so that the elderly need to control their blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors for hypertension in the working area of the Poasia Public Health Center, Kendari City. This type of research is analytic observational with a case control study design with a sample of 117 respondents consisting of 39 cases and 78 controls in the working area of the Poasia Public Health Center, Kendari City. Data analysis used chi square test for bivariate analysis and binary multiple logistic regression with enter method for multivariate analysis. The results showed that the risk factors of physical activity, consumption of salt, consumption of fruits and vegetables and stress, affect the incidence of hypertension in the elderly with grade 2 at the Poasia Public Health Center, Kendari City. The most dominant risk factor is salt consumption with a large risk value of aOR = 21,838 with a confidence interval (95% CI =1,838-2,896,410). It is hoped that the government can overcome the problem of hypertension through intervention on risk factors by monitoring blood pressure and educating families and hypertension patients, stress screening and promoting active exercise programs and optimizing counseling about hypertension diet.

The planning process involves community elements as program targets through internal village meetings and Musrenbang level. Monitoring and monitoring activities are carried out by the Health Office as a verifier and sanitarian officer of the Puskesmas. The achievement of STBM indicators has not met the target, which is still reaching 40% of the National target of 75% of all STBM indicators. Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV-2). SARS-CoV-2 is a new type of coronavirus that has never been previously identified in humans. The spread and transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus was so fast that it was designated a COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic requires the government to issue several rules to suppress the spread of the virus and this has an impact on everyone's psychology without exception for pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women. The coronavirus has disrupted pregnancy plans and heightened the anxiety of most expectant mothers, who question how the virus will affect the birth of their babies. Most pregnant women feel anxious about giving birth without their loved ones by their side. Others are afraid of being infected with COVID-19 and not being able to hug their baby. The coronavirus pandemic has added anxiety and uncertainty to the dire situation. This study is an observational analytic epidemiological study using a cross sectional design. The population in this study was 150 respondents where the sample was taken using quota sampling. Furthermore, bivariate analysis was performed using Chi Square. The results showed that the level of anxiety was related to antenatal care service visits during the COVID-19 pandemic with a p value of 0.001 and an Odds Ratio of 3.75.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the cardiovascular diseases that need to be watched out for because this disease often occurs without clear symptoms until complications occur (the silent disease). Hypertensive disease that is not handled optimally will result in a return of symptoms, or is called a recurrence of hypertension. An unfavorable lifestyle is a factor in the recurrence of hypertension in addition to regular treatment and control. This study aims to determine the relationship between lifestyle and recurrence of hypertension in patients at UPT Puskesmas Jatinangor, Sumedang Regency. This research is a descriptive correlative research type with a cross sectional approach. The study population was all patients who went to UPT Puskesmas Jatinangor Sumedang. A sample of 63 patients with hypertension using purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using a lifestyle questionnaire totaling 24 items, and using a checklist for recurrence of hypertension in the last 1 month. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate with Chi-Square correlation test. The results of the Chi-Square correlation test show that there is a relationship between lifestyle and recurrence of hypertension in patients at UPT Puskesmas Jatinangor Sumedang with a significance value (p-value) = 0.000. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that the Jatinangor Health Center can make a program to reduce the recurrence of hypertension caused by an unhealthy lifestyle, including counseling and joint exercise for hypertensive patients.
