Abstract

It is acceptable for the government play an important role in the economy. Development. For example, through public sector policy, the government plays an important role in driving economic growth. However, there seems to be debate in the business literature about whether government should play a role in de-economic development. This article expands the role of government in economic development, which is prevalent in the economic literature. If it seems that there are two opposing poles discussing whether governments should play a role in economic development, this article shows that thematic differences only talk about how many governments play a role. must play in economic development. This article explains the role of government in economic development.

Abstract

In its journey, capitalism has adversely affected the economy and increasingly gaping social inequalities, creating gaps between the rich and the poor. It all is the impact of the cruelty of capitalism that occurred in several developing countries including Indonesia. The Indonesian state is a democratic country, and according to Karl Marx a democratic country is a capitalist country, because the state is controlled by the capitalist economic logic which dictates that most political decisions must benefit the interests of the capitalist. In this case the beneficiaries are the owners of capital (capitalists), while the small community remains in the frame of poverty

Abstract

This type of research is quantitative research that has the aim to determine the assessment and development of Islamic financial performance. Measurements were made using a financial ratio analysis approach consisting of liquidity ratios, solvency ratios and profitability. Audited balance sheet and profit and loss data are used as data sources. Based on an analysis of the development of BSM’s financial performance for the period 2013-2017, the ratio of liquidity, solvency and profitability fluctuated. Then the development of financial performance in the BMI 2013-2017 period based on liquidity ratios experienced a significant increase, then based on the solvency ratio showed fluctuations, while based on profitability ratios showed fkultuation. Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah in the period of 2013-2017 experienced fluctuating performance developments when viewed based on its liquidity ratio, based on the solvency ratio showing fluctuations, while based on profitability ratios showed an unstable increase.

Abstract

The potential of natural tourism in Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall which are in one regional complex are very beneficial for the people in Probolinggo. The potential possessed by Probolinggo district should be evaluated as an ecotourism area based on a SWOT analysis. The rapid development of tourism can not be separated from the fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure that supports the needs of tourists. Therefore it is necessary to examine more deeply the potential that is based on spatial perspective in order to come up with new tourism ideas and renewal of programs in tourism areas. In this case, based on the SWOT analysis and spatial location between Bromo and Madakaripura, which are very close to each other, they have different tourism potentials, so it can be suggested an alliance program between the two tourism potentials. Thus in the end it will have an impact on the economy of the community around the two attractions.

Abstract

Economics has a certain character that is distinguished by other understandings. An understanding, including economics, is built by a purpose, principles, values, and paradigms. For example, the understanding of liberalism was built on the goal of the realization of the freedom of each individual to develop himself. This freedom will be realized if every individual has the same opportunity to develop. Therefore, equal opportunity is a principle that will be held which will eventually give birth to a paradigm of free competition. Islamic economics is built for holy purposes guided by the teachings of Islam and achieved in a way that is also guided by the teachings of Islam. Therefore, all of these are interrelated and structured hierarchically, in the sense that the Islamic economic spirit is reflected in its objectives, and supported by pillars, the goal to achieve falah can only be (Islamic values), and operational pillars, which are reflected in economic principles (Islamic principles). From this will appear an Islamic economic building in a paradigm, both paradigms in thinking and behave as well as the shape of the economy. The pillar of Islamic economics is moral. It is only with the morality of Islam that the building of Islamic economics can be erected and only with Islamic economics can falh be achieved. Islamic morality stands on a postulate of faith and a postulate of worship. The essence and moral of Islam is monotheism. The implication of monotheism, that Islamic economics has a transcendental nature (not secular), where the role of God in all aspects of the economy becomes absolute.

Abstract

Sales will not be realized without promotion, therefore CV Karya Abadi promotes Advertising and personalselling strategies to increase sales volume. This study aims to determine the promotion through advertising and personal selling affect sales volume in C.V. Eternal Work to achieve this goal the researcher first conducts a survey to identify what variables are considered. In this study there are three variables, namely sales volume, advertising and personal selling. The sample method used is porposive sampling (sampling technique with certain considerations). For the data obtained directly from research in CV Karya Abadi through un-structured interviews, observations and documentation and analyzed using the significance test of each coefficient and the significance test of the model through SPSS version 10.01. From the statistical results it can be seen that the value of Fcount> Ftable (76, 909> 3.3541) then the independent variables (advertising and personal selling) have a significant effect so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. For the T-test on advertising: 2,239 and personal selling: 11,104 and for Ttabel advertising and personal selling is +2,0518, this shows Thitung> Ttable so H1 is rejected and H0 is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the promotion strategy (advertising and personal selling) affects the sales volume of C.V. Karya Abadi by 83.1% while 14.9% is influenced by other promotional strategies.
