Abstract

This study aims to understand the existence of several factors that cause the transmission of the guidance of Allah SWT to a person. Hidayah is the full authority of Allah. This study used a qualitative method with a social perspective approach and da'wah so that life phenomena which are reflections of religious understanding can be understood directly from the perpetrators. The subject of this research is the Chinese Muslim community in Probolinggo. The results of the study showed that there is human involvement as a place for the transmission of guidance to emerge, including the discovery of several factors that accelerate, slow down and even condition the ups and downs of transmission of guidance in the form of religious conversion through the vow of reciting the shahadah. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to assist readers in determining concrete steps both methodologically, determining material and others in every understanding of Hidayah.

Abstract

Nowadays, more teenagers use Indonesian than Javanese, especially among students. This is caused by geographical factors, namely the location of schools located in urban areas. In addition, it is also caused by the habit of the students in using the language and the rapid progress of technology. Likewise, the use of the local language (Javanese) in community life is now decreasing. This right happened because the Javanese language as a communication tool for the community in its level does not pay attention to politeness/politeness which has become the rule, when speaking. It's like talking to older people who actually use high-class Javanese. For that reason, from not understanding Javanese manners, in the end, Indonesian is used as a communication tool when talking to parents. In fact, in this case, there are still many people who use Javanese language when talking to older people. Schools that accommodate have an important role in guiding how to speak Javanese correctly. Therefore, the school tries to carry out familiarization activities to get used to reading companion books or Javanese literature. The school's effort to implement this activity is to help students be able to speak Javanese correctly so that they can develop their speaking skills. The habit of reading Javanese language literature is one of the means for students to know, understand, and apply correct Javanese language habits. Meanwhile, this research aims to; describe reading habits, students' speaking ability in Javanese, and the impact of the habit of reading companion books/correct Javanese literature on students' speaking ability. The approach used in this research is qualitative with the object of Middle School students (SMP). While the method used is the method of observation, interview and documentation. The result of the research is that with the practice of reading companion books/literature within 15 minutes before the lesson starts, students have an improvement in developing their ability to speak using the Javanese language.

Abstract

This study aims to determine ethnomathematical learning in the people of Central Sumba which can be understood in its cultural elements. This research is a type of qualitative research that uses descriptive research methods. The subjects in this research are individuals who are experts in their fields. This research was conducted in February in Central Sumba district. The result of this research is that there are mathematical concepts that exist in several cultures in Central Sumba such as the shape of the traditional Negu Korung and Gadung dances which are circular, then the Kaddi cloth is rectangular and the calculation of the harvest results has a relationship with multiplication. With this research, it is clear that culture can be the most effective way of understanding mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Teachers and education staff need to have innovative work behavior so that educational goals can be achieved optimally. Innovative work behavior studies in Indonesia are more dominant in detail in organizations that produce products or companies. The purpose of this research is to analyze what variables affect and are influenced by innovative work behavior variables in educational institutions and aims to find out the forms of innovation carried out by teachers and education staff in carrying out teaching and learning activities. This research method uses literature review. Based on the results of the study, twelve variables were found that influenced the innovative work behavior of teachers or education staff. The twelfth variable is an intervention variable to see innovative work behavior. Innovative work behavior variables affect two variables, namely performance and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Innovative work behavior is also an intervening variable from hard skills, soft skills, learning organization and motivation variables that affect performance. In addition, teacher innovation behavior was also found in carrying out learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reasoning of seventh grade students in solving mathematical problems which includes sense-making, conjecturing, convincing, reflecting, and generalizing reasoning components. Based on the research objectives, the research conducted is useful to provide an overview of students' abilities in solving math problems involving five components through data exposure and discussion can explain the differences in students' abilities made by students. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research types and data analysis includes three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The source of data in this study is the results of students' work on the problem of rectangular flat shapes given, with the subject chosen 3 students. Of the 3 students there are differences in ability in solving rectangular problems so that these differences are classified into 3 characteristics based on the abilities of each student in the form of 1 student with high mathematics ability, 1 student with moderate mathematics ability, 1 student with low mathematics ability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's supervision on teacher performance at SD Negeri 2 Candirenggo Singosari Malang. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods and approaches. The subjects of this study were 10 teachers at SD Negeri 2 Candirenggo Singosari Malang. The main data collection technique uses a questionnaire. Interview techniques were carried out to support the results of the questionnaire data. The informants in the interviews in this research were the Principals and Teachers. The results showed that the value of tcount was 3,303 and ttable was 2,262, because tcount> ttable, then H0 was rejected, H1 was accepted. Thus there is sufficient influence between the influence of the principal's supervision on teacher performance at SD Negeri 2 Candirenggo Singosari Malang.
