JIKO is an open-access short communication (letter) journal that publishes both theoretical and empirical original papers in all economics and business fields. JIKO emphasizes contributions to the academic and practical world so that JIKO is expected to have a broad impact from policymakers to economic actors ranging from companies, industries to MSMEs. JIKO uses the word "Inovasi" which is the same as Innovation as an answer to the increasingly dynamic and disruptive changes in the economic, business, and technology world. We are also delighted with the multidisciplinary approach. Therefore, we appreciate the novelty and conclusion based on the mature discussion. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence student interest in entrepreneurship. This study uses qualitative research, the sample used is accounting students who have entrepreneurship both in the fields of services, trade and manufacturing. The results of this study indicate that there are four factors that influence student interest in entrepreneurship. These factors are profit generated, freedom in work, personal dreams and independence.

Abstract

Hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pasar modal Indonesia, Korea Selatan dan Amerika memiliki keterkaitan yang erat. Pasar modal Indonesia memiliki hubungan yang kuat dengan pasar modal di Amerika Serikat, sedangkan hubungan antara pasar modal Indonesia dengan pasar modal Korea Selatan lebih kecil jika dibandingkan dengan hubungan pasar modal Amerika Serikat.

Abstract

Paper ini membagi dua jenis muatan informasi: a) official information; dan b) secondary information. Official information adalah informasi yang diproduksi oleh pemasar dan secondary information adalah informasi yang di produksi oleh selain official information. Diskusi berfokus pada keseimbangan dan simpangan utilitas antara official information dan secondary information. Paper ini mengemukakan tiga proposisi: proposisi 1: nilai simpangan utilitas yang positif menunjukkan konsumen mendapatkan kepuasan lebih dari yang diharapkan; proposisi 2: nilai simpangan utilitas sama dengan 0 menunjukkan konsumen mendapatkan kepuasan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan; proposisi 3: nilai simpangan utilitas yang negatif menunjukkan konsumen mendapatkan kepuasan lebih rendah dari yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi konsumen terhadap endorser selebriti produk shampo merek Pantene sekaligus variabel yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap persepsi konsumen diantara variabel visibility, credibility, attraction dan power selebriti yang digunakan sebagai konstruk dari variabel endorser. Dari hasil penelitian yang akan dilakukan diperoleh bahwa persepsi konsumen tinggi diperkirakan untuk penilaian pada attraction sebagai endorser produk shampo merek Pantene. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata skor indikator tersebut diperkirakan masuk pada kriteria tinggi. Indikator yang dimiliki selebritis diharapkan mempunyai daya tarik fisik/penampilan yang menarik, dan berkualitas baik dari segi kepribadian maupun kecantikan yang dimiliki endorser.

Abstract

The contribution of women entrepreneurship in the economy cannot be underestimated, but the bias in funding approvals is still an issue. In addition, Indonesia, with its majority Muslim population, also faces challenges to make a financial platform that does not conflict with Islamic law. Based on these problems, this paper offers a solution for developing a sharia-based financing model that focuses on women empowerment through crowdfunding.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research in the introductory management course taken by the first semester students (first semester). This study was conducted to improve student motivation and learning outcomes in learning management introductory subjects. The method used through the assignment approach (project based learning, data collection techniques with tests and non-tests. Data analysis by comparing learning outcomes before and after applying project based learning learning methods. The results of the study showed an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes. During the learning process there are obstacles, namely face-to-face time constraints.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate Zakat and Infaq/Shodaqoh (ZIS) accounting practices at Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) of East Java Province. Data collecting technique was done by using open questionnaire and analyzed by using comparative descriptive technique. Based on the analysis result, it can be concluded that ZIS accounting practice in BAZNAS East Java Province has been referring to PSAK 109 but not yet fully applied. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis konten asimetri informasi saham pada Indeks Harga Saham Syariah Indonesia (ISSI). Sampel dalam penelitian ini mencakup semua emiten yang masuk indeks ISSI ketika indeks pertama kali diterbitkan yaitu 214 perusahaan emiten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi peristiwa dengan alat analisis menggunakan t-Test dan ordinary least squares. Periode jendela yang digunakan mencakup periode 15 hari sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman indeks ISSI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perubahan harga saham di sekitar tanggal masuknya saham di indeks ISSI. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena saham yang membentuk indeks ISSI adalah saham yang termasuk dalam Daftar Efek Syariah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa masuknya saham dalam indeks ISSI tidak mempengaruhi abnormal return. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penerbitan laporan rutin sehingga meminimalisir asimetri informasi.

Abstract

Research objectives: (1) to analyze the empowerment of creative home industry products in Bangil. (2) to analyze the organizational culture in the home industry of creative products in Bangil. This research was conducted at home creative product industry in Bangil, the type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative because the research is used to study a phenomenon in the object of research. While the object in the study of employees in the home industry creative products in Bangil. The method of data collection used in this research is the use of interview techniques and questionnaires (Questionnaire). Determination of the sample in this study was conducted by using the census method or total sampling with the number of respondents as many as 28 employees, especially the embroidery. Data analysis tool using Range Scale analysis to analyze employee empowerment and analyze organizational culture. The results of the research are as follows: for employee empowerment tendency on the dimension of access (opportunity) is high, the dimensions of participation tendency enough, the dimensions of decision making tendency and dimension of courage to take the risk of low tendency so that the average for employee empowerment done tendency is enough low. As for the organizational culture tendency in the dimensions of innovation is enough, the dimensions of openness tendency strong and the dimensions of cooperation tendency is enough so that it can be concluded the average organizational culture that applied cederung strong enough.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors which influence firm value. This study uses multiple regression analysis and takes data from three cement companies listed on the IDX. The results of this study concluded that companies must be efficient and keep the debt ratio to maintain the firm value.
