Abstract

An expert system for diseases in cats is an application that aims to helps in diagnosing disease in cats based on its symptoms and signs observed. The forward chaining method is used in this system to collect information from users, apply existing rules, and reach a final diagnosis. In this method, the expert system will start with the information provided by the user or results of observations, and use existing rules to reach conclusions or final diagnosis. The main steps in the forward chaining method include collection information, activating rules, evaluating conditions, and iterating until a final diagnosis is reached.While these methods can provide initial advice in diagnosing feline diseases, it is important to remember that expert systems are no substitute for a comprehensive medical assessment by a qualified veterinarian.

Abstract

The distribution of scholarships is a government program related to tuition assistance given to students who come from underprivileged families as evidenced by the Prosperous Family Card (KKS) to help implement educational equity. The division of students is done to help determine in recommending someone who is eligible to receive a scholarship, a Decision Support System is needed. The determination of current scholarship providers is only based on an analysis of existing data records manually, which allows for errors to occur. From previous observations, a decision support system was created in optimizing the provision of scholarships to SMA Imelda Medan students. This research aims to optimize the results of decisions in providing incentives to students. The method used is the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) which can help provide recommendations for scholarship recipients. It is hoped that the use of a Decision Support System (SPK) can assist decisions to be taken in choosing and determining who is the best student to get a PIP scholarship, bearing in mind that so far they have not used a particular method in selecting students so that sometimes decisions are considered less objective and not on target. This method can be used to determine scholarship recipients in the assessment of scholarship acceptance. It can facilitate decisions for 10th grade students of SMA Imelda Medan, proportionally based on the results of student data processing including family cards, parents' occupations, parents' income.

Abstract

The Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) is one of macroeconomic and global economic conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of inflation, exchange rates, gold prices and world oil prices on the composite stock price index. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data analysis method used is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) model processed using Eviews 10 software. The VECM test results show that inflation has a negative effect on the combined stock price index in the long and short term, namely with a value of -1.25378 or smaller than the t-table 1.66757, meaning that inflation has no effect on the value of the combined stock price index. The exchange rate has a t-statistic value of 8.18187 or greater than the t-table 1.66757, which means that the exchange rate variable has a significant effect on the value of the composite stock price index in the long and short term. The t-statistic value of the gold price value is 2.66635 or greater than the t-table 1.66757, which means that the gold price value variable has a significant effect on the value of the composite stock price index in the long and short term.This is an open access article under the CC BY NC licence
