Abstract

This research has been carried out in multi-storey buildings by measuring natural frequencies on the building and its basic land. The recorded vibration data were analyzed with the H / V technique to get its natural frequency value. The measurement results of building floor vibrations using the GPL-6A3P accelerometer show that the natural frequency on the 3rd floor and 2nd floor is 2 Hz, while on the 1st floor is 0.6 Hz and on the subgrade of the building is 0.4 Hz.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Department of Physics Laboratory instrumentation electronics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Alauddin State Islamic University (UIN) Makassar South Sulawesi. Formulation of research problems, namely (1) how to design transformers voltage DC voltage into AC current?, and (2) how much voltage and current is generated in transformers and DC voltage into AC?. In this study only uses transistor types (jengkol) with 2N3055 specifications. The results showed that (1) the design of transformers DC voltage into AC voltage current has been designed using 2N305 transistors to produce a form of inverters with 12 VDC input voltage and output voltage of 250 VAC. (2) The amount of voltage and current transformers resulting in a DC voltage into AC voltage currents generated before given input and output load currents.

Abstract

Energy is one of the most hot issue today.  Energy consumption has increasing every year around the world but the sources  not increasing significanly.  Most of the energy source come from coal and oil with decrease every year. However oil and charcoal tends to be distinctive near future since it not renewable. Besides, it is polluting, environmentally harmful and rather expensive. As consequence  it is important to explore another renewable energy resources. One good example is solar energy, with using sel phovoltaics technology. Photovoltaics technology have been presented with higher efficiency and low cost in production such as perovskite solar cell.

Abstract

This research on Laptop Light Intensity Comparison Against Visibility and Size Different Types of Laptop. The purpose of this study was to compare the laptop light intensity (light source) at various distances users, and compare the laptop light intensity (light source) is produced by several brands of laptops. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology by using luxmeter, stopwatch, meter and protractor. Retrieval of data begins with the selection of laptops ranging from 10 inches, 11.5 inches, and 14 inches then measure the intensity of light emitted from each of the laptops in the interval during the 300 second with a distance of 20 cm-1 m. Make a graph of the results of all the research and explain the graph of the results of the research. Conclusion of the research that has been done is the light intensity obtained at various distances users on laptops 10 inches obtained mixed results, this is because the greater the distance between the sensor luxmeter with a light source (laptop), the smaller the value of the light intensity on the screen luxmeter panel. Greatest light intensity obtained in lapotop 10 inches is the HP laptop (Hewleet Packard) with a value of 5,574 cd, to laptop 11.5 inches Acer laptop that is on the cd value of 6.317, and the 14 inches laptop that is on a Samsung laptop with a value of 8.110 cd.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the hospital. Level II Pelamonia Makassar South Sulawesi. Formulation of research problems, namely (1) determine the ratio between the pressure fluid infusion and blood pressure for patients with discharge or severe nutrition in children, adults and the elderly, and (2) determine the flow rate of fluid infusion for patients experiencing discharge or severe nutrition in children children, adults and elderly. In this study the parameters under study is a comparison of blood pressure measured by a sphygmomanometer with intravenous fluid pressure in pediatric patients, the mature and elderly, as well as the flow rate of fluid infusion for pediatric patients, adults and the elderly who experience severe fluid and nutrients. Comparison of the patient's blood pressure and infusion pressure and flow rate of intravenous fluids known through calculation of several variables that have been measured and calculated. The results showed that (1) measured blood pressure values corresponding with the calculated pressure fluid infusion in pediatric patients, adults and the elderly based on the events of osmosis and (2) the flow rate of intravenous fluids to children gained an average of 6.669×10-9 m3/s (on the calculation of Q = A.v) or an average of 5.558×10-9 m3/s (on the calculation Q = V/t), while adults and the elderly gained an average of 2.001×10-8 m3/s (calculation result Q=Av) or 1,667×10-8 m3/s (on the calculation Q=V/t). This means that the flow rate of fluid infusion for pediatric patients less than the infusion flow rates for adults and the elderly.

Abstract

This study examines the managerial and professional competences in the science laboratory of SMP Negeri 17 Makassar. Data obtained through direct observation in the science laboratory by identifying all science laboratory equipment (Chemistry, Physics and Biology). The data is documented one by one and identified in accordance with government regulation (Permen) No. 26 of 2008 concerning School Laboratory Management. The results obtained are that (1) the condition of the carrying capacity of human resources (HR) and laboratory infrastructure to support the facilitation of the Science (Science) learning process at SMP Negeri 17 Makassar shows that the carrying capacity of the facilities and infrastructure, especially the laboratory equipment, has met criteria but it needs to be completed according to the specified standards and the managerial process is still minimal and not well organized and the intensity of laboratory use is still classified as moderate; (2) the science laboratory management system in SMP Negeri 17 Makassar can be seen in the competence of the head of the science laboratory, namely the average value of the standard understanding of the competency of the head of the laboratory is in a good category, but the application to streamline laboratory management activities is not fully maximized and has not according to the achievement targets set.

Abstract

Walking With Wave Simulation Using MATLAB Software Version 7:14. The purpose of this study wasto visualize the simulation program in the two-dimensional wave propagation, waveforms are in phase and phase difference and interference of waves in the wave superposition and wave visualization using MATLAB. This study uses a hardware specification that is a notebook with an Intel ® Core TM i3-380M, 2 GB DDR3 Memory, 320 GB HDD, Windows 7 Professional 32-bit system and the software Matlab & Simulink Release 2012a version 7.14. Making simulation starts from collecting multiple variables from multiple reference wave. The study was conducted by making the program compilers and program display the caller in the script M-file in the software matlab. Then execute all forms of variable wave existing programs in M-files in Matlab and explains all the waveforms are executed.

Abstract

Fresh and clean water is portable increasingly rare inurban areas.The rivers become the source was contaminated waste of all kinds, ranging from the elimination of organic waste, household hazardous waste to the industry. By adopting this approach the research system of water treatment with domestic sewagerecharge wells.This research was conducted in Garaganti Samata Gowa. This research is set in wells model (two wells model), firsly with tree wells and the secondly in single well which each well containing filtration materials. The results show that significant water output  are colorless, harmless and wasteless both in tree wells by partition and single well Infiltration wellshave two models. This indicated that the wells working good as like as expected. To show the quality and classify of the water output, samples are send to laboratory of Badan Lingkungan Hidup Daerah (BLHD) Province South Sulawesi, with descriptive method presented in tabular form. Result of from BLHD are compared with standart shows that the water output is clean (Peraturan Gubernur No. 69 Tahun 2010 about water quality standard limits an criteria for environmental life damaged), classified in Class III (Peraturan Pemerintah No. 20 Tahun 2010 about water quality and water allocation) and Peraturan Pemerintah No. 82 tahun 2001 about water quality criteria based on class
