Abstract

Students in theology schools must have a clear and determined calling. Often this commitment fades because the knowledge of God only happens in the mind, not in the heart. Therefore we need teaching that can invite them back to deepen their commitment to God. Therefore, in addition to intellectual abilities, mature spirituality, is considered an absolute requirement for theology students to become servants of God who are ready to serve. Success in ministry that demands a complete spiritual figure, requires a servant of God to set an example in his Bible, moral, and spiritual knowledge. Since it was in the formation on campus, it was hoped that theology students would have to realize the importance of a Bible-based spirituality, God's word. Therefore, this paper aims to discuss Calvin's Spirituality as a Theological Formation of Spiritual Students.

Abstract

One of the tasks of the church's vocation in this world is to preach the gospel or testify about Christ (Marturia), which is to preach the good news about the salvation of the Lord Jesus to a world filled with sin. That is why every Christian who has received salvation must be His witness in the midst of this world, so that those who do not believe have a part in the kingdom of God in Christ Jesus. But often there is failure and despair by the Evangelists, because they have given all the best efforts in evangelism but there is no soul that believes. This happens one of them because many evangelists do not understand and believe in the role of the Holy Spirit in evangelism. Therefore this article was written to provide an understanding of the role of the Holy Spirit in Evangelism based on the Gospel of John 16: 4b-15.

Abstract

At present there are many moral deviations in human life. Moral deviations have permeated the human life, namely: in the fields of politics, economics, education, art, philosophy and the church. These deviations occur because of a lack of complete understanding of immorality. Therefore through this paper we will present phenomenologically moral deviations in several aspects of human life, then in this paper will discuss the roots of the phenomenon of moral deviance in a biblical-systematic manner. Because the author believes that the fact of immorality was present at the time of the Bible (PL & amp; NT) and the Bible also provides facts about how God responds to the events of immorality that occur. So that through this writing believers can determine attitudes toward current immorality events according to how God stands in the Bible.

Abstract

Humans know God because God reveals himself. The Bible records two ways that God revealed Himself, namely through general revelation and special revelation. God has established public revelations through the means of the universe, conscience and history, so that through these means humans realize the existence of a divine and authoritative person. However, a theologian named Karl Barth rejects the existence of a general statement to be able to know God. Therefore through this paper we will explain general revelation and theological evaluation of Karl Barth's views on public revelation.
