Abstract

Introduction :  Mobilization is important to optimize body’s physiological function. The inhibiting factors of patient who doesn’t less motivation do mobilization are pain of surgery wound, afraid to move the extremity. One effort to improve the mobilization’s need is socialization of phone alarm as a reminder. The aims of this study was to analyze the effect of phone alarm socialization to mobilization in patient with post laparatomy surgery.Method : This study used pre-experiment design through one – shot case study. The samples taken were 14 patients with post laparatomy surgery at Gladiol surgery room in Dr. Soetomo Hospital of Surabaya period December 2013 to January 2014. The independent variable was phone alarm socialization, the dependent variable was mobilization in patients with post laparatomy surgery.Result : Based on this study, the mobilization in patients with post laparotomy surgery after being given phone alarm socialization, they were doing good in 8-24 hours, good enough in 36-48 hours, and less good in 60-72 hours after surgery.Discussion : It can be conclude that phone alarm socilization have effect to the mobilization in patients with post laparatomy surgery. Further research related to  the effect of phone alarm socialization to the mobilization of post laparotomy surgery at rehabilitation ward is needed.

In Pondok Pesantren Assalafi Al Fitrah Surabaya, gastritis was the most cases on santriwati 12-15 years old. The factors related to gastritis were food pattern, stress, medication adherence, and the use of Non Steroid Anti Inflammatory Drug (NSAID). This study was aimed to investigate factors correlating with gastritis incident on santriwati 12-15 years old in Pondok Pesantren Assalafi Al Fitrah Surabaya.Method : Design used in this study was descriptive analytic design with cross sectional approach. The population was all santriwati 12-15 years old who got gastritis in September 2013. Total sample was 30 respondents, taken according to inclusion criteria. The independent variables were food pattern, stress, medication adherence, and the use of Non Steroid Anti Inflammatory Drug (NSAID). The dependent variable was gastritis incident. Data were collected using structured questionnaire.Result : Data were then analyzed using Spearman’s rho test with level of significance < 0,05. Result showed that gastritis incident did have correlation with food pattern (ρ = 0,000), stress (ρ = 0,031) and medication adherence (ρ = 0,000). The use of Non Steroid Anti Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) has no correlation with gastritis incident (ρ = 0, 171).Discussion : It can be concluded that gastritis incident has correlation with food pattern, stress, and medication adherence, but has no correlation with the use of Non Steroid Anti Inflammatory Drug (NSAID). Further studies should involve larger respondents and better measurement tools to obtain more accurate results.

Abstract

Introduction: Asthma is a disease that often found in the community, according to the data from the World Health Organization in 2006, as many as 300 million people suffered from asthma and 225 thousand people died from asthma worldwide.Patients with asthma often use asthma exercise, pranayama yoga, deep breathing, Buteyko and upper body exercise as a way to help reduceasthma. Effectiveness of each of these exercises to improve expiratory lung capacity has not been identified. Methods: This study used quasi-experimental pre-post test design. The population consisted of 21peoples divided into 9 individuals each in Buteyko breathing exercises and upper body exercise. Samples were collected with purposive sampling. The independent variables were Buteyko exercises and upper body exercise, and the dependent variable was the peak expiratoryflow. Data were collected through the observation of peak expiratory flow using a peak flow meter. Data processing used T test with significance <0.05 and comparison of two techniques used independent T test with significance <0.05.Result: The result of T test analysis showed that p=0.000 indicating there was correlation between the two techniques in improving peak expiratory flow inbronchial asthma, and independent T test obtained p=0.078, indicating there was no difference between the two techniques in improving peak expiratory flow in bronchial asthma.Discussion: It can be concluded that Buteyko breathing exercises and upper body exercise has no different function in increasing the value of peak expiratory flow. In patients with bronchial asthma, can useone or both of the breathing techniques, because it has the same effectiveness to increase peakexpiratory flow in assisting the prevention of bronchial asthma.

The indepedent variable is blendrang consumptions, and the dependent variabel is hypertension incidence.  Total sampel was 34 respondents, taken according inclusion criteria by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Spearman's Rho test with a significance level of α = 0.05.Result: The results showed that p=0.004. It can be concluded that blendrang habits consumption was a significant corelations with hipertension incidence on Hypertension patients at Puskesmas Ngrambe.Discussion: Recommended for health practisioner to provide health promotion knowledge about hypertension and nutrition to reduce cases of hypertension. PLB breathing exercises with CBT is one of the non pharmakologis therapies to help COPD’s patients to obtain optimal physical condition and prevent more severe complications. The aimed of this study was to determine the effect of breathing exercises PLB with CBT to changes RR, HR, SaO2, and Retraction Chest Muscles on COPD’s patients at Ruang Palem I RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya.Method : This study was a pre- experimental study. The independent variabel was PLB with CBT. The dependent variabels were RR, HR, SaO2 and retraction chest muscles on COPD’s patients. Sample was 12 respondents. The sample was divided into 2 groups, 6 respondents as treatments group and 6 respondents as a control group. Data were then analyzed using independent t test, paired t test and chi square with level of siginficance p≤0.05.Result : Results showed that RR (p=0.004), HR (p=0.021), and SaO2 (p=0.003).Discussion : It can be concluded that there were influence the PLB breathing exercises with CBT to changing RR, HR and SaO2 on COPD’s patients. Whereas Chest muscle retraction was no effect with breathing exercises PLB with CBT on COPD’s patients at Ruang Palem I RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. Suggestions for nurses to be able to improve services for special education breathing exercises PLB with CBT in treating COPD’s patients. For further research expected to examine other factors that may help resolve problems in patients with COPD.
