Abstract

Stroke is the biggest contributor to the risk of decubitus in health care. This incidentis due to immobilization which affects the moisture of the skin. Decubitus can worsenthe patient's quality of life and lead to death. Prevention of the risk of decubitus iscarried out by repositioning. Objective: find out the effect of repositioning on the riskof decubitus using Digital Skin Moisture. Method: quasi-experimental research with anon-equivalent control group design consisting of intervention and control groups. The sample is a stroke patient with immobilization, registered a maximum of 3x24hours of first reception. Sixty people (30 intervention groups and 30 control grouppeople) were recruited using purposive sampling techniques. The study wasconducted over 3 months (July-September 2022). Results: the Mann-Whitney testshowed that the post-test results of the intervention group experienced more skinmoisture reduction (mean-rank 23.63) compared to the control group (mean-rank37.37) with a significant value of p=0.002<p=0.05. Therefore, it was concluded thatrepositioning measures positively influenced the risk of decubitus seen from themoisture of the patient's skin. Conclusion: A stroke is a high-risk event of decubitusjudging from skin moisture. Almost all stroke patients have abnormal skin moisture.Repositioning every 2 hours has a significant effect on reducing skin moisture. Skinmoisture measurement can be used with Digital Skin Moisture Tools. This tool ishighly recommended because it can provide accurate and fast information on therisk of decubitus.Keyword: Stroke, Repositioning, Decubitus, Digital Skin Moisture Tools

Abstract

Breast cancer is the number one cancer in women in the world both globally and nationally. In Indonesia, breast cancer is in the top position of all types of cancer experienced by women in Indonesia. Cancer treatment is generally done by surgery and chemotherapy. Several studies describing the mental effects of breast cancer patients showed that 33.3% experienced anxiety. Psycho-educational interventions have proven effective in overcoming mental problems faced by patients with chronic illnesses such as cancer. One type of psycho-education that can be done includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This study aims to determine the effect of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) on Reducing the Anxiety Level of Breast Cancer Patients Undergoing Chemotherapy at Makassar City Hospital. This study used a Quasi-Experimental Design Pre-Post Test Design with Control Group. The results showed that the majority of respondents' anxiety before being given treatment had no anxiety/low anxiety in the intervention group and in the control group even though there were 16% of respondents who felt high anxiety. After treatment, the anxiety of the respondents in the intervention group remained the same as before the treatment and the anxiety of the respondents in the control group changed by 1 respondent (8.3%) who had experienced high anxiety decreased to moderate anxiety. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) therapy did not show any significant results in reducing the patient's anxiety level. It is recommended that the CBT implementation session be maximized again to get maximum results.

Abstract

Higher education is a form of service provider that involves providers and service users. The quality of a tertiary institution is largely determined by the quality of services provided, such as high achievement motivation, lecturer competence, roles, assignments, and facilities and infrastructure. Good infrastructure is expected to create institutions that are clean, beautiful, and comfortable, so they need to be managed properly. The method used was a descriptive research design with a "cross-sectional" approach. The population in this study were 80 students of the Bachelor of Nursing, D3 Health Analyst, and D3 Midwifery, with a sample size of 43 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-probability with the purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis used Chi-square statistical test. In this study, it was found that the level of student satisfaction with the quality of academic services was not good, indicating that level of student satisfaction was nine respondents (42.9%) dissatisfied and eight respondents (36.4%) satisfied, while good academic service quality showed the level of satisfaction. Fourteen students were satisfied (63.6%), and 12 respondents were dissatisfied (57.1%). Based on the analysis that has been done using the Chi-Square test, there is no influence of the quality of academic services on the level of student satisfaction with a value of p> .451. It is hoped that this research will expand the research sample, not only for students in the VIII and VII semesters but also for other semester students.

Abstract

Background: The Indonesian obesity study group examined more than 6000 people from almost all provinces and obtained obesity rates with a body mass index (BMI)> 30 kg / m² in men at 9.16% and women 11.02%. Obesity has been known to be associated with Adiponectin and insulin resistance even from an early age. Wiecek (2012) compared adiponectin, lipid and proinsulin levels between obese and normal adolescents. From these studies, it is known that obese adolescents have adiponectin up to 50% lower compared to teens with normal weight. Aim: To Find Out The Role Of Adiponecttin Gene Polymorphism On The Change Of Adiponextin Content In Overweight Individual And Obesity After Aerobic Exercise In Dicd Ocd Combination. Methods: The research method used is pre-experimental design precisely quasi-experimental research design with one group pre-post test design. The research subjects were 36 women with more than normal body weight. Results: man Whitney test results differed significantly between adiponectin levels with variations in the TT genotype with a p-value of 0.001 and GT with a p-value of 0.038 after doing aerobic exercise for 6 weeks or 18 times of exercise, but the Spearman correlation test obtained a sig value of 0.301 which showed that the correlation was not significant between adiponectin levels and adiponectin genes. The spearmen correlation value of 0.074 indicates that the direction of the positive correlation with the strength of the correlation is very weak meaning that there is an increase in adiponectin levels after aerobic exercise for 6 weeks or 18 times of exercise but adiponectin levels are not related to variations in the adiponectin gene after aerobic exercise for 6 weeks or 18 practice times.. Conclusion: There was a significant increase in adiponectin levels in the GT and TT genotypes after aerobic exercise combined with the OCD diet, but adiponectin levels were not related to variations in the adiponectin gene after aerobic exercise for 6 weeks or 18 times.
