Abstract

HR competence moderation becomes an important element in understanding how HR influences budget absorption in the Sragen Regency Government. Moderation, in this context, refers to HR's role in controlling and facilitating the relationship between budget planning, budget execution, and administrative records. HR competence includes the ability of individuals to plan, implement and document budgets properly. This study aimed to determine the role of HR competence in moderating the influence of budget planning and implementation, as well as administrative records of budget absorption in the Government of Sragen Regency, Indonesia. This study shows that HR competence moderates the effect of budget planning on budget absorption. HR competence moderates the effect of administrative records on budget absorption.

Abstract

TikTok is a very popular platform among generation Z, who is often the main target in the fitness industry. Generation Z is very active on TikTok and uses the platform for inspiration on health, fitness and an active lifestyle. TikTok is a short video-based platform that enables gyms to present engaging visual content. This study aimed to determine the role marketing with social media TikTok in generation Z: a study on the choice of fitness centers by generation Z in Ambon, Indonesia. This study is a quantitative approach and uses primary data obtained from a survey process using a questionnaire, where the survey process is carried out online. The independent variable in this study is the choice of the fitness center brand by the customer (Y). The dependent variables in this study are entertainment (X1), interaction (X2), trendy (X3), customization (X4), and electronic word-of-mouth (WOM) (X5). In conclusion, there is a relationship between the entertainment, interaction, customization, and electronic word-of-mouth social media dimensions of TikTok in influencing brand fitness center choice decisions for generation Z in Ambon, Indonesia.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is a key element in creating a productive and motivating work environment. Satisfied employees tend to be more productive, creative, and loyal to their company. However, employee engagement, which includes employees' feelings that they have an important role in the organization, is also an important factor in achieving job satisfaction. Therefore, exploring the relationship between employee engagement, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in manufacturing companies in Ambon is a very relevant research focus. This study is research with a quantitative approach. This study uses primary data obtained from a survey process using a questionnaire, where the survey process was carried out online. The independent variable in this study is organizational commitment (Y). The dependent variables in this study are job satisfaction (X1), work characteristics (X2), organizational commitment (X3), turnover intentions (X4). There is a significant relationship between job satisfaction and employee engagement. There is a significant relationship between work characteristics and employee engagement. There is no significant relationship between employee involvement and turnover intentions. There is a significant relationship between employee involvement and organizational commitment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of leadership and motivation on employee performance at PT. Multi Media Kabar. This type of research is quantitative. The data sources used in this research are direct observation and filling out questionnaires by employee respondents of PT. Multi Media Kabar. This research uses multiple regression analysis. The research results show that leadership and motivation partially have a significant positive effect on employee performance at PT. Multi Media Kabar. The analysis results through calculating the correlation coefficient (R) show a solid positive relationship between leadership and motivation factors and employee performance variables (Y). The results of the analysis through calculating the coefficient of determination (R2) show that leadership and motivation factors have a reasonably significant contribution or contribution to the variation (up and down) of employee performance (Y), in addition to the variation explained by other factors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of training and compensation on increasing employee work performance at PT. Sesawi Prima Mandiri. This type of research is quantitative. The data source used in this research is a questionnaire by employee respondents at PT Sesawi Prima Mandiri with a sample size of 50 respondents. This research uses multiple regression analysis. Based on the research results, it is known that training and compensation partially and simultaneously have a significant positive effect on employees at PT. Sesawi Prima Mandiri. The analysis results through calculating the correlation coefficient (R) show a solid positive relationship between training and compensation factors and employee work performance variables (Y). The results of the analysis through calculating the coefficient of determination (R2) show that training and compensation factors have a reasonably significant contribution or contribution to the variation (up and down) of employee work performance (Y), in addition to the variation explained by other factors.

Abstract

Work adjustment refers to the extent to which employees feel that their work is in line with their values and expectations. One important aspect that needs to be understood is the role of work adjustment in shaping job involvement in hotel industry employees in Ambon, Indonesia. Work adjustment includes the extent to which work matches employees' personal values, their expectations of the job, and their suitability for the tasks at hand. Work values are an important factor influencing work adjustment, because individual values play a large role in determining the extent to which someone feels involved and satisfied in their work. This study aimed to determine the role of work adjustment on job involvement based on work values: a study of hotel industry employees in Ambon, Indonesia. This study is research with a quantitative approach and uses primary data obtained from a survey process using a questionnaire, where the survey process was carried out online. The independent variable in this study is job involvement (Y). The dependent variables in this study are work value (X1), work adjustment (X2). The study results show that there is a significant relationship between work value and job involvement, p=0.000. The study results also show that there is a significant relationship between work adjustment and job involvement, p=0.000. The study results also show that there is a significant relationship between work value and work adjustment, p=0.000. In conclusion, work values play a role in work adjustment and work adjustment will play a role in job involvement in hotel industry employees in Ambon, Indonesia.

Abstract

The consequences of the main tasks and functions of the provincial National Narcotics Agency (NNA) in the program of prevention, eradication, abuse, and illicit narcotics (P4GN) require the availability of reliable human resources who enjoy their work and are therefore closely tied to their work. Employees who have a sense of attachment to their work enable the implementation of their main duties, both as a team and individually. A solid team certainly consists of individuals who like their work and who have engagement with their work. This study was conducted to analyze the role of intrinsic motivation in mediating the effect of occupational self-efficacy on National Narcotics Agency (NNA) Officers' work engagement in Banjarmasin (South Kalimantan). The research population was equal to its sample size, including 61 NNA employees, whereas the sample size was taken using a total sampling technique. Data was collected through a survey by distributing questionnaires via Google Forms. Data was analyzed with path analysis techniques using SPSS version 26. The findings show that self-efficacy has a significant positive effect on intrinsic motivation and work engagement. Intrinsic motivation significantly affects employees’ work engagement. Intrinsic motivation significantly and partially mediates the influence of occupational self-efficacy on NNA employee’s work engagement.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has not only changed the global economic landscape but also forced Islamic banks to reevaluate their strategies, operations and policies. In this context, a comparison of financial ratios before and during the pandemic is very important to identify significant changes that have occurred in Islamic banking performance. This pandemic has forced Islamic banks to review their business strategies. They must consider how to deal with declines in economic activity, changes in consumer behavior, and market fluctuations. This study aimed to compare financial ratios before and during the COVID-19 pandemic on Islamic Banking in Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. In this study, the sample size was all Islamic commercial banks at core capital adequacy Bank 1 in Indonesia, namely the ratio of operational costs - operational income (BOPO), allowance for impairment losses (CKPN), financing to deposit ratio (FDR), net operating margin (NOM), non-performing financing gross (NPF Gross), net non-performing financing (NPF Netto), return on asset (ROA) and return on equity (ROE) in the period before the COVID-19 pandemic and during the COVID-19 period. There is no difference in the financial performance of Islamic banks as measured by the BOPO, NOM, NPF, and ROE ratios before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are differences in the financial performance of Islamic banks as measured by the CKPN, FDR, and ROA ratios before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

In the fishing industry, financial management behavior can involve decisions related to managing revenue from fish sales, optimizing operational costs, and planning for long-term sustainability. This study aimed to determine the role of financial literacy, financial knowledge and financial attitudes on financial management behavior. This study is research with a quantitative approach and uses primary data obtained from a survey process using a questionnaire, where the survey process was carried out online. The independent variable in this study is financial management behavior (Y). The dependent variable in this study is financial literacy (X1), financial knowledge (X2), financial attitudes (X3). The study results show that there is a significant relationship between financial literacy and financial knowledge, p=0.000. The study results also show that there is a significant relationship between financial knowledge and financial attitudes, p=0.000. The study results also show that there is a significant relationship between financial attitudes and financial management behavior, p=0.000. In conclusion, financial literacy plays a role in increasing financial knowledge. Financial knowledge plays a role in improving financial attitude. Financial attitude plays a role in improving financial management behavior in the fishing industry in Ambon, Indonesia.
