It is estimated that 50-80% of women suffer from anemia 48 hours after birth. Anemia in women is associated with increased birth Infant Low Birth Weight (LBW), prematurity, maternal and child deaths, and infections. This study aims to identify the relationship between dietary patterns and the incidence of iron deficiency anemia in post Partum mothers at dr. Zainoel Abidin hospital Banda Aceh. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional study design. This research was conducted from June to September 2019 with 102 respondents selected through the non-probability sampling method. Respondents were postpartum mothers who were treated in room 2 (obstetric inpatient room). The study technique was carried out by giving a questionnaire and a hemoglobin check has been carried out using an HB meter.  The data obtained were analyzed using the chi-square statistical test with a confidence level of 95%. This study found that the prevalence of anemia was  49,0% of respondents had mild anemia (Hb levels 9-10,9 gr/dl), 10,8% had moderate anemia (Hb levels 7-8,9 gr/dl), and 40,2% not having anemia (Hb levels >11gr / dl). Background: Supervision is part of directive function of a manager. Supervision is carried out to ensure nurses work according to standard. Actually, the quality service in hospital can be improved with supervision. Objective: to determine the relationship between the supervision of the head of the room in the compliance of nurses in preventing pressure injuries. Design: this study was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design approach to determine the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Data obtained through the google form application. The instrument used was made by the researchers themselves with modifications from sources based on the theoretical basis of Nursalam’s supervision. Questionnaire A demographic data, questionnaire B implementation of supervision, questionnaire C compliance of nurses. The analysis in this study included univariate and bivariate analysis. This study used the Spearman Rank, Mann-Whitney, Kruskal-Wallis test. Results: Nurses aged 24-53 years, Working period 1-32 years. Female gender 87,7 %, D3 Nursing education 59,2 %, Competency level PK II 36,2 %, Never attended 54,6 %, Marred 80% and employment status as ASN 53,1%. Conclusion: There were three dimensions of supervision that affect compliance, namely supervision techniques, supervision principles and supervision models. There was correlation between supervision and nurse compliance which was quite strong, significant and unidirectional, expect that the dimension of supervision routine activities had a very weak correlation. All characteristic variables had no correlation with adherence except for age, which had a very weak relationship. There was a weak, significant and unidirectional correlation between composite supervision and the implementation of nurse compliance. The results of the analysis of nurse compliance in preventing pressure injuries were 80%. Recommendation: It is necessary to know other factors besides supervision that affect compliance. Suggestion for further researchers is research with a qualitative approachPressure Injury, Nurse Compliance, Supervision of The Head of The Room

This study aims to identify the characteristics of patients who are infusions, before and after infusion health education is carried out on patients for the maintenance of infusion drops at Citama Hospital in 2021. This study uses a Quasi Experimental method with the research design "Pre and post test control group design" the conclusion of this study was obtained by comparing the effect of treatment on the group of subjects who were given the treatment. The research data was obtained based on a survey using a questionnaire to the sample at Citama Hospital. Based on the results of data analysis, there were 4 people (26.7%) who maintained the infusion drip before being given good health education and after being given the infusion health education, it showed an increase in the maintenance of the infusion drip, namely 12 people (80%). And maintenance of infusion drops before being given infusion health education was not good for 11 people (73.3%) and after being given infusion health education showed a decrease in infusion drip maintenance, namely 3 people (20%), where the analysis used a t-dependent test with the average result (0.533), standard deviation is 0.516 and p value 0.001 where p < 0.05, so it can be concluded that the health education of infusion in patients has a significant influence on the maintenance of infusion drops.

Abstract

Background: thirst is the most common symptom burden among patients with hemodialysis. Thirst among patients with hemodialysis caused by fluid restriction lead to stress and depression, especially among patients who consume diuretics. Aim: This study aims to analyze the benefit of sucking ice cubes among patients with hemodialysis according to empirical studies in the last ten years. Method: The articles were obtained from several databases such as Scopus, ProQuest, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and the National Library of Indonesia. There were five articles reviewed by the authors. Results: According to the five articles, ice cubes effectively reduce thirst among patients with hemodialysis. Patients with hemodialysis can suck the ice cubes maximum of three to four times a day. Discussion: Sucking the ice cubes can reduce thirst because it has a cold effect which can freshen and reduce the thirst longer. Nurses can provide and educate this alternative intervention which is effective to reduce thirst among patients with hemodialysis. Sucking the ice cubes can be conducted by the patients in the hospital also in the patient's home with the family's help.
