Abstract

The research aims to analyze several aspects, including the influence of work-life balance on in-role performance, the influence of work-life balance on work engagement, the influence of work engagement on in-role performance, the influence of work-life balance on in-role performance mediated by work engagement, and the influence of work-life balance on work engagement moderated by self-efficacy. This study adopts an associative research design with a sample of 40 respondents who are employees at PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Belmera Medan Branch. Data collection techniques involve statement lists such as questionnaires, and data analysis utilizes Path Analysis. The Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) application tests the five hypotheses proposed in this study. The research findings indicate that the influence of work-life balance on in-role performance is positive and significant, the influence of work-life balance on work engagement is positive and significant, the influence of work engagement on in-role performance is positive and significant, the influence of work-life balance on in-role performance mediated by work engagement is positive and significant (implying that work engagement mediates the influence of work-life balance on role performance). The influence of work-life balance on work engagement moderated by self-efficacy is positive and significant (indicating that self-efficacy moderates the influence of work-life balance on work engagement).

Abstract

The objective of the research was to see the students’ achievement in writing recount text by using task-based language method. This research was conducted at SMP Muhmammadiyah 05 Medan, Jl. Bromo Gg. Aman No.38 Kecamatan Medan Denai Kota Medan Sumatera Utara. The population of this research was from at Eighth grade of Muhammadiyah 05 Medan, which consist of two classes, so the total population are 69 students. By using Purposive Sampling Technique it was taken with 52 students. They were divided two groups; as Experimental class taught by using task-based language method and Control class taught by using conventional Method. Written Test were administrated to the students. The researcher gave a pre-test, treatment and post-test to both groups. Having collected the data by using T-test formula, the result showed that t-observer was 49.00 t-table was 2.024. the fact showed that t-observer was higher than t-table (The null hypothesis or Ho was rejected and the alternative hypothesis or Ha was accepted). The result of this research concluded that there was a significant result by using task-based language method on the students” achivementin writing recount text

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of Financial Literacy, Financial Technology and Lifestyle on Consumptive Behavior among the Young Generation in Medan City. The approach used is quantitative. The population in this study was the younger generation in the city of Medan, totaling 2,494,512 people, while this research method used the Slovin formula, so that a sample of 100 people was obtained. This research instrument uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 29. The research results show that Financial Literacy has a significant effect on Consumptive Behavior. Financial Technology has no significant effect on Consumptive Behavior, and Lifestyle has a negative effect on Consumptive Behavior. Meanwhile, simultaneously Financial Literacy
