Abstract

The phenomenon of hijab is creating more and more space for consideration. The use of hijab among female athletes in various sports is increasing. This research discusses the clothing performance of Zahra Lari, a figure skating athlete from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Figure skating is a sport performed by dancing on ice with tight clothing attached to the athlete's body. This type of tight-fitting clothing is aerodynamic and lightweight to make it easier for athletes to move without feeling overloaded. Zahra Lari was the first female athlete to wear the hijab at the 2012 European Cup Winter Championships in Italy. Zahra Lari received a deduction in the competition due to her unusual use of the hijab. The deduction made Zahra Lari appeal to the International Skating Union (ISU), because she felt unfairly treated. The appeal was eventually accepted by the ISU and since then many figure skating athletes have worn the hijab in various competitions. Zahra Lari's efforts to negotiate the figure skating clothing model with the addition of hijab is the focus of this research. This research aims to explain how Zahra Lari negotiates culture in order to be accepted to compete in international figure skating competitions without leaving her attitude and worldview in dressing. This research uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out by studying English-language media and remote interviews. Interviews were conducted with Zahra Lari as the main informant. Interviews were also conducted with a figure skating coach in Kuwait and a Kuwaiti national figure skating athlete. The results showed that Zahra Lari's cultural negotiation had an impact on cultural harmonisation in figure skating.

Abstract

Open SID Desa Pilang is a web-based platform that utilizes the open-source software OpenSID to assist the Pilang Village Government in managing information and data related to village life. This platform aims to provide an effective and affordable solution for the Pilang Village Government to establish a Village Information System (SID) that enables efficient collection, storage, and presentation of information. The website integrates various modules and features including population data, administration, finances, announcements, as well as current news. Through the Open SID Desa Pilang website, the village government, administrative staff, and local community can collaborate to optimize information management, decision-making, and participation in village development. With the support of the community and developers, this platform continues to evolve to deliver information technology solutions that align with the needs and growth of the Pilang Village Government.

Abstract

Improving brand image is an important aspect of business in the field of beauty clinics. Likewise for Bening's Clinic Kemang South Jakarta Branch, improving a good brand image by public relations to customers so as to increase satisfaction and have a good effect on service. This is the background so that the role of public relations can improve brand image. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of Public Relations in enhancing the brand image of Bening Clinic, Kemang Branch, South Jakarta through Instagram as a service company providing facial skin health services in Indonesia. In addition, this study aims to analyze the obstacles and solutions implemented to overcome obstacles to the role of Public Relations in increasing the brand image of the Bening Clinic, Kemang Branch, South Jakarta. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. This study uses Dozier and Broom's concept regarding the role of Public Relations and Atmoko's concept regarding Instagram features and Biel's concept regarding brand image dimensions. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of Public Relations at Bening's Clinic, Kemang Branch, South Jakarta, uses Instagram to find out the experiences felt by customers, both positive and negative experiences. Instagram content from Bening's Clinic Public Relations, Kemang South Jakarta Branch is very interesting, informative, and has a huge impact on customers because the information conveyed is quite routine through the Brand Ambassador by utilizing the features available on Instagram as an intermediary medium in enhancing brand image.

Abstract

The role and responsibilities of humans are so heavy due to their existence as Khalifah, namely God's representative on earth. as the caliph whose duty is to prosper the earth, humans are the central theme of the drama of the creation of the universe. If likened to a book, then the universe is the pre-discourse that leads to the contents of the book, while humans themselves are the core content or content of the book. In the context of changes made by Muslims, there are historical facts that describe the ups and downs of these changes in three phases. First, the period of faith (marhalat al-îmân) which began at the beginning of the revelation of the Qur'ân and ended at the Siffin war. At this time, the spiritual element of the Muslim community was still very strong, and only began to relax after the Siffin war. Second, the phase of Islamic culture (marhalat as-saqâfah al-Islâmiyyah) which is marked by the maturation in thinking and understanding of al-Qur'ân and al-Hadith as concepts. This situation allegedly gave birth to the brilliance of civilization which ended with the collapse of the Muwahhidin dynasty. While the third period is the period of underdevelopment and decline that began after the collapse of the Muwahhidin dynasty. Muslim society in the post-Muwahhidîn phase is human beings who are qâbi li al-isti'mâr (imperialable: ready [to be] colonized), more than just colonized (musta'mar). When citing the verse of the Qur'an "Indeed, Allah will not change what is in a people before they themselves change what is in themselves. Q.S. ar-Ra'd, [13]: 11. The sentence "mâ bi qawmin" in that verse means "what exists in a people (group of people) in the form of setbacks, progress and outward forms of civilization". While the sentence "mâ bi anfusihim" which is contained in the end of the verse, can be interpreted as "what is in them" in the form of awareness that exists in the people such as thoughts, ways of thinking, mentality and spirit of progressivity. With any interpretation of that verse, it can be concluded that in order to change the decline of civilization into progress, Muslims must first make a change in their way of thinking and mentality (as a form of "ma bi anfusihim"). This is what has recently become the main concern of efforts to re-promote Islamic civilization which are carried out both by individuals and groups.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the description on the strategy mixture of public relations in increasing positive image and to find out what obstacles facing of PT. KONE Indo Elevator. This study used qualitative research method along with interview, observation, and documentation technic. This study used the theory of the seven strategy mixtures of public relations which are publication, event, news, relation to public, negotiation and lobbying technic, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and company identity. The result of the conducted study shows that strategy mixture of public relations implemented by PT. KONE Indo Elevator works quite well. The effort is proven to be succeeded that there are still many people who put in their trust to choose and recommend KONE.

Abstract

According to Law Number 36 of 2008 there are two Tax Subjects, namely, Domestic Tax Subjects (SPDN) and Foreign Tax Subjects (SPLN). One of the Domestic Tax Subjects is a Business Entity that has the largest contribution in tax revenue. The tax that must be paid by the Business Entity depends on the profit it generates each year. The higher the profit, the higher the tax. Therefore, to minimize tax payments according to the rules of the taxation frame, Tax Planning is needed, namely several ways to minimize the tax burden without having to violate the tax law. In writing this final project, two methods are used, namely the Observation Method and the Documentation Method. The data used are the Income Tax Return, VAT, and the Financial Statements of PT Pratama Graha Semesta 2020. The results of this final project research, Tax Planning at PT Pratama Graha Semesta utilizes the Government Borne Income Tax (DTP) incentive according to PMK 09/PMK.03 /2021 such as PPh Article 21, PPh Article 22 Imports, Reduction in Installment of PPh Article 25 by 50%, optimizing credit for input tax invoices through the e-invoice application on the Prepopulated VAT menu, collecting evidence of withholding income tax, minimizing the tax burden on Article 23 PPh, avoiding sanctions fines by setting the payment date and separate tax reporting, as well as conducting fiscal reconciliation. So with Tax Planning, tax financing can be well organized.

Abstract

Reading is one of the skills that all students should know from elementary school to high school. Based on observations made in the first week of KKN activities in Jabiren Raya village, the reading comprehension of junior high school students has not met expectations. Many students are unable to define the points of a children's story and summarize its content in a few sentences. Based on the above problems, KKN students in Jabiren Raya village want to improve their students' learning abilities by organizing open class activities and school learning in Jabiren Raya village which aims to pay special attention to students. The method used in this problem is iterative and continuous learning where students are taught more intensely and still with two-way communication. The results that are the focus of this study will help junior high school students in Jabiren village to improve reading skills, because from the observations made it was found that many students still do not have good reading skills. The purpose of this activity is to hope that students' reading skills will improve precisely because of the additional time devoted to reading. This activity brought positive results, where the reading ability of junior high school students improved.

Abstract

Juridically, crimes in the field of taxation show that these crimes are the substance of tax law because the rules of tax law are violated. Sociologically, crimes in the field of taxation have shown a real situation that occurs in society as a form of activity by tax officials, taxpayers, tax officials or other parties. In the Constitutional Court Decision, it was decided that the provisions of Article 77 letter A of the Criminal Procedure Code do not have binding legal force as long as they are not interpreted including the determination of suspects, searches and confiscations. As for one of the legal considerations, the determination of a suspect is part of the investigative process which is a deprivation of human rights, so the determination of a suspect by an investigator should be an object that can be requested for protection through pretrial legal endeavors. This is solely to protect a person from the arbitrary actions of an investigator which is most likely to occur when a person is named a suspect, even though in the process it turns out that there was an error, so there are no institutions other than pretrial institutions that can examine and decide them. The research method used is normative juridical, the approach method is more emphasis on law, the source of legal material is law, and the type of collection of legal material is by literature study. The results of this study are that the Constitutional Court's decision provides protection for someone who has experienced an erroneous legal process when he is named a suspect. In the provisions of Article 8 of Law 39/1999 concerning Human Rights it is regulated that "The protection, promotion, enforcement and fulfillment of human rights is primarily the responsibility of the government. This means that the Constitutional Court takes a role in fulfilling human rights through its decisions as part of constitutional responsive efforts. One element of legal protection that is emphasized through this decision is legal certainty that investigators must carry out investigative actions in accordance with applicable legal procedures

Abstract

A democratic state is a state that adheres to the structure or mechanism of a government system with an obligation to actualizing people’s sovereignity over the state to be carried out by the government of the state. In 2020, the world was rocked by the outbreak of the corona virus which was spreading rapidly all over the world. This evoked Indonesian government to make attempts and take actions regarding policies to conduct the corona virus issue. One of the initial initiatives which taken by President Joko Widodo at that time is to command the Indonesian embassy in China to pay special attention to Indonesian citizens who were isolated in Wuhan. Furthermore, besides the central area, the regional government has also taken precautionary action by providing 100 (one hundred) hospitals. This attentiveness is also carried out at 135 (one hundred and thirty five) international airports and ports by installing body temperature detectors, normative juridical research methods, is a process to find the rule of law, legal principles and legal doctrines in order to find a solution when faced with any legal issues , the result of this research is a state that adheres to democratic system is regulated based on the will and with a purpose to gain prosperity for its people, carried out by the people themselves and/or with their assent since the sovereignty of a state is in the hands of the people.

Abstract

Political communication cannot be separated from the role of the mass media in conveying messages to target audiences in particular and the public in general. Especially now that politics is present everywhere thanks to media networks that have real-time broadcasting capabilities. In political communication, political figures are often or packaged in political advertisements or various styles of political communication that must follow the liberalization of the media system which is more capital-oriented (money oriented) through political campaigns. From here arises media relations with political parties and actors and some others also influence the role of owners of media capital who are also politicians or leaders of political parties as seen on Metro TV. The results of this study show that the relationship between the media and politics is found in the news on the Prospective Candidates for the 2024 Presidential Election in the news on Metro TV. Thanks to media networks that have real-time broadcasting capabilities, new media have sprung up, both in the form of dare media (on-line) and social media, both of which are inseparable from being used as political communication channels to shape imagery, both positive and negative, from political actors. As a result, the social media arena is often used as a buzzer for news that is the mainstream of the media so that it can strengthen the formation of public opinion. This study also found a correlation between political communication conveyed through mainstream media and social media. This can be seen from a number of issues that are used in political communication as an effort to image the Presidential Candidate through conversations on social media in which many buzzers and loyalists from political actors are mobilized
