Abstract

Kata kunci: NGO, Strategi, Transnational Advocacy Network, Advokasi, Direct Lobbying, Kampanye, Deklarasi, Heart of BorneoDOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/jgp.v4i01.1925

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn 2014 the number of issues discussing immigrants in the EU is 24% and by 2015 by 38%. And Euroscepticism is due to immigrants in Sweden at 48% while in Denmark it is 55% and both are Nordic countries. This is the reason why this paper is made. This paper will discuss the impact of Schengen policy on Euroscepticism in the Nordic. The approach that will be used is Globalization, welfare state and national interest. Globalization will be implemented in the form of schengen policy that causes the immigrant crisis in the Nordic. Nordic became the main goal of immigrants because it is a welfare state that has social security. And social security is a national interest maintained by native Nordic communities from immigrant immigrants to emerge euroscepticism. The effect was that a border control policy was made by the Nordic governments to press the immigrants who came and set up border patrols between the Nordic countries themselves. Keywords: Schengen, Immigrant, Euroscepticism, Nordic, Border ControlDOI: https://doi.org/10.33005/jgp.v5i02.1893

Abstract

ABSTRACTUntil 2010 Japan's popular culture is still a popular culture product, but post-2010 popularity of Japanese popular culture products began to decline. Facing this situation Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) initiated Japan to popularize Japan's popular culture and increase the revenue of Japan's creative industries that produce popular culture contents through the Cool Japan/Creative Industry policy. This policy aims to promote Japanese popular culture content with the theme of Cool Japan abroad and also to increase the revenue of Japanese creative industries. With the formulation of this policy is expected to become an alternative source of declining Japanese national income. METI will then conduct cultural diplomacy as a strategy of this policy in several countries including the United States, France and Singapore by holding cultural events in these countries as a means of promoting and influencing the interest of overseas consumers. Keywords: METI, Cool Japan/Creative Industry, Popular Culture, Cultural DiplomacyDOI: https://doi.org/10.33005/jgp.v5i01.1903

Abstract

In respect to the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) talks, Indonesia, the ASEAN coordinator for what will be the world's largest free trade pact, has acclaimed the substantial progress in negotiations, which has seen leaders agree to complete the deal this year. On the 33rd ASEAN Summit held in 2018, President Joko Widodo had stressed the importance of a mandate to agree on the RCEP. However, one question needs to bring to light is whether Indonesia's determination has been supported by adequate preparedness to comply with various binding provisions, especially the IPR regime designed to go beyond WTO TRIPs. In an effort to answer that question, this article will be focused on examining the IPR regulatory framework in Indonesia and to what extent it is compatible with the anticipated IPR provision based on the leaked draft of RCEP IP Chapter. Abstract

ABSTRACTAs a phenomenon that brings change in various aspects of life, globalization has become one of the factors driving positive and negative changes in society. One of these changes is obesity which is a health problem in various regions, especially developing countries like Asia. Economic growth that occurs through foreign trade and investment, as well as technological developments, have had a devastating effect on the lifestyle of the world community, which increasingly relies on a small amount of its power while simultaneously consuming high amounts of calories. Lack of government regulation and public awareness related to public health increasingly facilitate the development of obesity in developing societies. Keywords: Obesity, Globalization, Economy, Health, Culture DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/jgp.v7i02.1827
