JIEBAR: Journal of Islamic Education: Basic and Applied Research is a journal focuses its scope on the issues of basic and applied research in Islamic Education. We invite scientists, scholars, researchers, as well as professionals in the field of Islamic Education to publish their researches in our Journal. The journal publishes covering all aspects of Islamic Education. Abstract

As Caliph (khalifah) in this earth, human beings are not only entrusted to keep, take care, and maintain the prosperity of this nature but also required to be just in all affairs. The establishment of this noble morals and ethics is supposed to be the goal of education. However, what happens nowadays is the opposite, the crisis of education and the lack of attention to the morals and ethics in education. Actually, ethical aspect in Islamic education is not a taboo thing, because it has been widely expressed by experts such as al-Ghazali, Ibn Miskawaih, Syaikh al-Zarnuji, and so forth. Therefore, the writer is interested to rediscover the educational thought of K.H Hasyim Asy’ari in his book, Adab al-Alimwaal-Muta'alim, under the sub-focus of KH. Hasyim Asy’ari’s view on the ethics of Islamic education and the concept of learner’s ethics.This research was conducted by using library research with descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection is performed by collecting the existing data through books, documents, magazines and the internet (website).The data were thenanalyzed so that the researchers could find the concluding ideason the subject studied. Data were analyzed using induction, deduction and comparison approach. This research concluded that according to KH. Hasyim Asy'ari, learners should be knowledgeable and true. It means to have an attitude which suits the principles or values of education in Islam. The more specific concept to be performed is the way to behave to themselves, teachers, the lessons and books. In this sense, KH. Hasyim Asy’ari does not mention the specific lessons to be given in accordance with the talents, interests, and abilities of the learners.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the guidance of parents of MTs students. in Malangke District in instilling character. This study uses a qualitative research that uses a pedagogical approach. Sources of data are primary data from parents, school principals, PAI teachers through interviews, while secondary data is taken from documents related to research. The instrument used in data collection is the researcher himself whose function is to determine and select informants as data sources, analyze data, interpret data, and instruments in collecting data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research and analysis concluded that in parenting in the formation of the character of MTs. Malangke 1) The pattern of parents in coaching in instilling character a. MTs. Cappasolo, the parenting style used by the community is a democratic pattern. B. MTs. Tokke, the parenting style used by the community is an authoritarian pattern, 2) The basic development of religion in MTs. Cappasolo and MTs. Tokke applied by parents in Malangke sub-district tends to be the same, the way to instill character and character at home is to set an example. 3) Many things can hinder the formation of character so that students do not show character such as education level, cultural environment, age, socioeconomic level.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of online game digital pathology and how to overcome it through Islamic religious education. This research uses qualitative research with pedagogical and normative approaches. The digital pathology that developed at UPT SD Negeri 177 Tokke, Malangke District, is an online game pathology that is around 4 hours a day used by students. Students who are excessive in playing games tend to have emotional feelings that are difficult to control, children admit to being quick to anger, sad, and annoyed when their parents suddenly stop their online game playing activities. The negative impact of online games causes students to be more active in thinking about how to advance to the next stage or how to beat their playing opponents without caring about the lessons at school. It is hoped that parents will pay more attention to their children when children spend their learning time playing online games that are less useful for academic achievement. In the prevention function, understanding function and alleviation function, only PAI teachers and school personnel handle these students. If the PAI teacher has experienced difficulties, especially now that the learning epidemic is still online, in handling these students, a supervisory function is applied, namely the school is assisted by the students' families in handling and supervising students addicted to online games.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between Fiqh (thaharah) learning and Awareness of Maintaining Cleanliness in Schools for Grade VII Students at SMP Permata Insani Islamic School Tangerang. This research is field research with a correlational quantitative research design. This research uses correlational research or relationship search because it is carried out to determine the strata of the relationship between two variables without making changes, additions, or manipulations to existing data. The results of the research that have been analyzed in the formulation of the problem are that there is found a positive correlation between learning fiqh thaharah with awareness of maintaining cleanliness in schools in class VII students at SMP Permata Insani Islamic School Tangerang, where the value of r (Pearson Correlation) is 0.454 there is a medium category and based on the table of interpretation of the coefficient of the value of r.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which has hit the whole world, including Indonesia, has created new challenges for society, especially in the education sector. The most obvious change in the world of Indonesian education is learning, which starts from face-to-face and switches to distance learning (PJJ). The effectiveness of teaching and learning also decreased the number of study hours. The sudden change amid all the limitations makes the tension in education in Indonesia even more visible. And after 2 years of being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, people's social activities are starting to return to normal, including the world of education. All educational institutions are gradually rearranging learning policies towards normal conditions as before the Covid-19 pandemic, but it is unavoidable that changes towards a new direction or called the new normal bring back the fact that Indonesia is currently experiencing a loss of learning. The purpose of this research is to examine what policies have been implemented to overcome the loss of learning after the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a literature review by collecting data from studies that have been conducted and taken from various sources. With the learning lag due to the Covid-19 PANDEMIC, it is necessary to implement policies to overcome this so that loss of learning does not worsen the situation in Indonesian education. the government and educators have tried their best to prevent the loss of learning from taking too long. it would be nice if the effort to restore the enthusiasm for learning was supported by the parents of the students to create a comfortable environment so that the students were able to overcome the material that was previously left behind so that the enthusiasm of the students was able to return to its original state. All education sectors are expected to work well together in implementing policies to correct learning lags.
