Abstract

Human resources or commonly referred to as HR is one of the important resources in a government and is often referred to as the spearhead to achieve goals in a government, as well as the facilities used in carrying out public services. Therefore, a government agency requires high-performing human resources and adequate facilities so that it can achieve the goals set by eachagencyrelated to carrying out public services. However, human resources and facilities at the Klabinain Village Office not very effective so that they have not been able to carry out public services properly. From this, the problem of this research is will examine the factors that affect the quality of public services at the Klabinain Aimas Village Office, Sorong Regency, West Papua Province. This research aims to determine whether or not the influence of human resources and facilities on the quality of public services at the Klabinain Aimas Village Office, Sorong Regency, West Papua Province. This research is a quantitative research. This researce was conducted for two months, namely November to December 2021.The sample in this study amounted to 123 people with the sampling technique using simple random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and literature study. Hypothesis testing using classical assumption test and simple regression analysis using the IBM SPSS Ver 26 application to determine the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable at the 95% trend level (α = 0.05). The results of the research are as follows: 1) there is no positive and significant influence between human resources on public services at the Klabinain Aimas Village office, Sorong Regency, West Papua Province. 2) there is no positive and significant effect between facilities and public services at the Klabinain Aimas Village office, Sorong Regency, West Papua Province.and 3) there is a significant effect between human resources and facilities if tested simultaneously on public services at the Klabinain Aimas Village office, Sorong Regency, West Papua Province.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to design and analyze the batch reactor designs to produce PbO particles on an industrial scale. The method used in this research is to perform computational analysis and calculation of the reactor and its stirrer as well as the mass balance as the basis for calculations using the Microsoft Excel application. To produce PbO particles on an industrial scale (10,000× laboratory scale), are required two reactors and two stirrers. The calculation results show that the first reactor has a volume of 11.2334 ft3 with a height of 3.2219 ft and requires one stirrer with a power of 163 Hp, while the second reactor has a volume of 7.3576 ft3 with a height of 11.9503 ft and requires one stirrer with power 191 Hp. The results of this computation and analysis can be applied to the design and analysis of reactor performance as a learning medium and operating mechanism in a production system.

Abstract

Operation Excelence is needed at manufacturing process in order to achive optimum cost. One of method is using line balancing. It work by increasing efficiency and remove bottole neck at workstation.. The purpose of this research is to increase productivity in the work path of diabetes drug production line, it means that all work stations can achieve optimum output, eliminate or reduce material accumulation by identifying line balances at work stations. By using the Line Balancing method. The method used is the Ranked Position Weight (RPW) heuristic method. As result productivity was increasing, with line efficiency from 58.36% to 80.25%, balance delay from 41.64% to 19.75%, a decrease in the amount of material accumulation between work stations on the diabetes drug production trajectory from 25 - 1175 doos / hour to 4 - 174 doos / hour, and eliminating the bottleneck on the trajectory of diabetes drug production.

Abstract

PD PSJ is a company engaged in the distribution of foodstuffs and basic needs, especially the people PD PSJ is a company engaged in the distribution of foodstuffs and basic needs, especially the people of Jakarta. Along with the government's program related to the procurement of KJP cheap foodstuffs, the KJP food distribution process is in collaboration with PD PSJ. KJP food distribution activities are carried out throughout the DKI Jakarta area, including the Thousand Islands. In the process, there were several obstacles experienced by the officers. To reduce the risk of a late KJP food distribution supply, management carried out several policies related to risk management. The House of Risk (HOR) method is one of the methods to identify several activities and risks that can occur in the supply chain process of goods. This research applies the HOR method to obtain recommendations for improvements in the process of distributing KJP goods. The results of data processing and analysis using the HOR method obtained the greatest recommendation for improvement is to conduct training to field officers and improve communication both internally and externally.

Abstract

The manufacturing industry is a group whose main activities are to produce and process raw or semi-finished materials into goods that are ready for use. Analysis of the application of work systems is very important to apply before carrying out mass production. The principles used must lead to the expected ergonomics and productivity. This study aims to identify and analyze related to the design of work systems in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. This research method was carried out starting from the collection of articles, processing, and analysis of these articles using an analytical system. The data sources used are articles in the 2012-2022 timeframe. The results of this study found that the most published years of research were 2018 and 2022 with 5 articles each. Based on the industry, the most frequently found was the type of industry engaged in the construction sector, with 10 articles. The contribution of this research is to provide convenience for other researchers as a reference in compiling articles on work systems in the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

An organization wants its business journey to run smoothly, but sometimes there are obstacles from the different nature of employees. The great influence of employee character starts from self-efficacy, work motivation, work discipline and employee performance. The purpose of this research is to build a research hypothesis on the influence of exogenous variables, namely self-efficacy and work motivation on the endogenous variables of work discipline and employee performance. This research method uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with secondary data taken from several collections of articles related to these variables. This study has found that there is a positive mutually influencing relationship between variables, among which self-efficacy influences work discipline, work motivation influences work discipline, self-efficacy influences employee performance, work motivation influences employee performance, and work discipline influences on employee performance. This research has resulted in several studies of 10 articles which have provided scientific decisions. The contribution of this research is expected to provide convenience for other researchers who will develop their scientific work with a similar theme in the future.

Abstract

In the production sector, companies that have successfully applied concurrent engineering tools, including Quality Function Deployment (QFD) define customer requirements at the early stages of their design development. The purpose of this study is to determine the type of construction, country location, and year of research related to the application of the QFD method. This study uses the literature review method. Sources of articles were obtained and processed from National and International journals from 1999 to 2022. The number of similar articles identified was 45 articles. The results obtained from this study indicate that 15 research journals apply QFD to office building construction projects, and most research is carried out in 2017 while most research locations are carried out in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to design a reactor that can optimize the production of Al2O3 from the reaction between bauxite and sodium hydroxide solution on an industrial scale. The type of reactor used for the production of Al2O3 nanoparticles is a Continuous Flow Stirred – Tank Reactor (CSTR). The method used in this study is to perform computational analysis and calculation of the dimensions of the reactor and stirrer as well as the mass balance, using basic calculation with Microsoft Excel application. To produce Al2O3 nanoparticles on an industrial scale, three reactor units and three stirrers are required. Based on the calculation results, it is found that the first and second reactors have volume 2,9689 m3 with height 5,0424 ft and require a stirrer with six blades with an angle of 45o which has power 50 Hp. The third reactor has volume 4,3387 m3 with height 9,0847 ft and requires one stirrer with six blades with an angle of 45o which has a power 75 Hp. The computational calculation results in this study can be used as an overview in designing a reactor to produce Al2O3 nanoparticles from bauxite and sodium hydroxide solution on an industrial scale.

Abstract

The global decline in environmental quality includes direct and indirect impacts from industries that meet individual needs or complementary facilities. Industrial development is one of the support systems that plays a role in meeting these needs. One of the industries located in the bonded area in the Cikarang area produces sheet plastic goods industry in the form of Polycarbonate roofing. Related to this, PT XYZ (the initiator) in the implementation of its daily operations makes efforts to manage and monitor the quality of the environment so that it can be controlled and managed if it exceeds the permitted capacity or quality standards as regulated in the applicable laws and regulations in accordance with the affected environmental components or humans, in this case workers who are directly related to the production process. The research was conducted at PT XYZ which is located in the Industrial Estate, Cicau Village, Central Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The object of research is industrial environmental quality monitoring. The research method includes sampling of environmental quality at several monitoring points that can represent the impacts resulting from industrial activities, laboratory analysis, then the results of the analysis are compared with applicable regulations to further serve as a basis for decision making for no further or correction of environmental quality that has the potential to decline and needs improvement. The noise level at PT XYZ for monitoring semester 2, year 2022 where the noise level at 1 (one) monitoring point exceeds the quality standard but is still within the noise level tolerance of ± 3 dBA, namely the Crusher Area, 85.9 dBA respectively. The measured work environment climate in semester 2, year 2022 has increased for the Fisnish Good area and Crusher Area and has not increased significantly so that control efforts are needed, currently the installation of environmentally friendly solar cell panels has been carried out and is awaiting permission to be operationalized.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the quality of services provided by a Motor Radja Racing during this time to all customers. This paper aims to obtain an effective method to improve the quality of services previously existing in the repair Radja Racing Motor Workshop. The method of analysis done in this study using the Service Quality (SERVQUAL) and the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) that modeling in the form of House of Quality (HoQ). The results of this study indicate that the two methods is quite effectively used in analyzing the service quality that are in a Radja Racing Motor Workshop. In addition, the results of these two methods can be seen that the variables of service should be willing to do the repairs and improved is the variable reliability and to attribute is the number of mechanical comparable with the vehicles in service. On the other hand, through the method of servqual, QFD is used in enhancing and improving the quality of services that already exist coupled perform the evaluation of the state of the workshop of the motor.
