Abstract

Abstract— Abstract- Soil moisture is a water content that partially or completely washes the soil pores. So far, the process of checking soil moisture is still done manually, where farmers have to come to the field directly. To assist the process of checking the soil, the researchers designed and built a soil moisture monitoring system based on the Internet of Things which aims to simplify the process of monitoring soil moisture without having to come to the field. In implementing the development of this monitoring system, the author uses the prototype system development method. This system implements an Arduino UNO microcontroller, ESP8266-01 WiFi transmitter, YL-69 soil moisture sensor, and LCD as part of the monitor system. Based on the results of the design and testing of this soil moisture monitoring system, it allows users to get information on the state of soil moisture levels without being limited by distance by using the internet network where Thingspeak and ThingView work as a monitoring media where this system is useful for helping farmers to know the level of soil moisture through smartphones and PC.

Abstract

Fire is one of the disasters that often occur in Indonesia. Especially in densely populated areas that have the potential to cause problems in the event of a fire. The obstacle that occurs is that firefighters are often late in handling due to various factors, so the damage and losses due to fires are greater. This study aims to create an internet of things (iot) based fire detection system. The system uses 3 sensors, namely the Irflame fire sensor, the Mq-2 gas sensor and the Dht11 temperature sensor and are assembled on the Nodemcu ESP8266 microcontroller. In experiments that have been carried out in a 3.5 mx 3.5 m room, the fire sensor can detect a small fire up to a distance of 30 cm and a large fire of 230 cm, then it will turn on the water pump when a fire is detected. When the Mq-2 sensor detects a gas leak above 300 PPM, it will turn on the fan to decompose the gas. The DHT11 sensor reads the room temperature value continuously and is set to a minimum temperature of 32˚C, the system will give a warning from the buzzer. The result of the design of this tool is that the system can send information through the blynk application on the user's smartphone and can handle fire signs based on the designed output.

Abstract

Abstract

The COVID-19 outbreak that has hit the whole world, including Indonesia, has disrupted community activities, making people in various countries have to stay at home to break the COVID-19 chain. One of the activities affected is the teaching and learning activity. The teaching and learning activity, which should be a face-to-face activity, has to be replaced by using an online system. Due to many existing online learning platforms, it is difficult for educators to determine an appropriate online learning platform or application to support the needs of students. This study proposes a recommendation system, which is built using the Elimination Et Choix Traduisant La Realite (ELECTRE) method, to select an online learning platform. This method is able to process the weight of the value of each criterion and alternative used in order to get the final result in the form of an appropriate alternative. The result of this study is a recommendation system that can assist educators to choose an appropriate online learning platform.

Abstract

The covid-19 is a virus that is currently plaguing the world by a highly unexpected form of infection. The covid-19 virus infection itself has grown remarkably fast not only in Indonesia but worldwide. Even its spread can be spread quickly and people are vulnerable to the virus. Based on data obtained from the spread of Sitaro health services, the number of covid19 cases in Sitaro district from April to June was 139 with 10 dead and 116 with a recovery from covid-19. In the case of covid19, there is a dire need for cooperation from all good people of the general public, health and government efforts to be together-together prevent further spread of covid-19 in our area. At current research the author USES the cellular model in simulation making. The cellular automata model was first introduced by Jhon Von Neuman and Stain Slaw Marchin Ulam in 1948 with the cellular space name that was a simple model for studying the behavior of a large complex system and learning biological processes. Cellular automata in this study was also used to predict the covid-19 spread spread in the coming month.
