Abstract

The comparison of students’ mathematics analogic through cooperative learning think talk write with students facilitator and learning model on class VII MTs NurulHasanahVelage Sungai Gelam districts Muaro Jambi. The comparasion of mathematics analogic through cooperative learning model think talk write with students’ facilitator and explaning learning model on class VII students’ of  MTs NurulHasanahVelage Sungai Gelam districts Muaro Jambi.Based on the observation in MTs NurulHasanahVelage Sungai Gelam districts Muaro Jambi, it is found that the mathematic analogi the students are on low category. It can be seen from the students ore on low category. It can be seen from the students test result. This happened because teacher was being so active in the class room, while the students put themselves only as the receiver of the learning material. Based on the problem research, the methode used in this research is experimental research because there is cause and effect between two variables. This research is located in MTs NurulHasanahVelage Sungai Gelam districts Muaro Jambi. The subject of the research is class VII studentsacademil year 2018/2019. The population of the students of class VII MTs NurulHasanahVelage Sungai Gelam districts Muaro Jambi.The result of the research show that the ability of the student in solving mathematics problem with cooperative learning model think talk write: 1) based on the post test, it can be seen that student test result in experimental class by using cooperative learning think type write is 33,7. While the result of control class by using student facilitator and explaining model is 29,9. Based on the result, it can be concluded that student ability in solving mathematics analogy by suing cooperative learning model think type write (ttw) is hinger than student who used student facilitator and explaining model on class vi student of MTs NurulHasanahVelage Sungai Gelam districts Muaro Jambi. Keywords: Mathematics reasoning, TTW, Student facilitaor and explaining

Abstract

This study aimed to see differences in the ability of understanding the mathematical concepts that students taught through cooperative learning model jigsaw with conventional learning on eighth grade students of SMPN 18 Bengkulu academic year 2013/2014. This research is a quasi experimental study. The study population is the entire eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Bengkulu city. The research sample determined by random sampling technique and obtained  VIII.2 classes to taling 30 students as classroom control, and VIII.3 graders who totaled 30 students as a class experiment. The data collected is the data from the pre-test and post-test students' comprehension of  mathematical concepts, the data were analyzed using t-test. The results of this study indicate that while t table t count=2.1652785=2.00172 which means that there are differences in the ability of students' understanding of concepts taught through cooperative learning model jigsaw with conventional learning on eighth grade students of SMPN 18 Bengkulu academic year 2013/2014. Based on the results of this study concluded that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model affect the ability of students 'understanding of the concept compared to conventional learning, so that there are differences inthe ability ofstudents'understanding of mathematical concepts of these two classes.Keywords: ability of understanding the mathematical concepts, Jigsaw cooperative learning model

Abstract

In the context of mathematics learning, Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a mathematics learning strategy in the classroom with problem solving activities and provides more opportunities for students to think critically, creatively, reason, and communicate mathematically with their peers.  The focus of this study was the ability to solve math problems. Based on the preliminary research the students experienced errors in re-checking the synchronization of resolution with the given problem. This research was quasi experiment research. Naturally selected subjects have been formed in one intact group (naturally formed intact group). Based on the research data obtained can be described in the problem solving ability of students whose learning applies PBL learning models higher than the problem solving abilities of students with conventional learning, where the average value of the posttest in the experimental class is 71.03. This study conclude that PBL learning models give positive effect on problem solving skills on the subject of the Linear Equation System of Two Variables in class VIII MTs Muslim Cendekia Bengkulu Keywords:problem based learning, problem solving

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kualitas bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis etnomatematika menggunakan aspek-aspek matematis pada tradisi pernikahan Yogyakarta untuk pembelajaran matematika kelas VIII SMP. Ada tiga aspek kualitas yang diteliti yaitu kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian pengembangan yang menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar berbasis etnomatematika pada materi statistika berupa LKS. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahap, yakni analysis (analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi) dan evaluation (evaluasi). Hasil penelitian dilihat dari aspek kevalidan adalah sangat valid dengan skor 4,24. Dilihat dari aspek kepraktisa adalah sangat praktis dengan skor 4,24, dan dari aspek keefektifan adalah sangat efektif dengan skor 3,95.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  meningkatkan  hasil  belajar  pada  mata  pelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan Aplikasi Google Classroom pada siswa kelas IX.2 SMP Negeri Kota Bengkulu yang berjumlah 28 siswa, terdiri dari 23 siswa laki-laki dan 5  siswa perempuan. Teknik  pengumpulan  data  menggunakan  observasi,  tes,  dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui model dengan urutan : reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan presentase hasil belajar siswa dari sebelum tindakan, siklus I sampai siklus II. Pada pra siklus jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM adalah 42,9% atau 12 siswa, meningkat 21,4% pada siklus I menjadi 64,3% atau 18 siswa. Pada siklus II jumlah siswa yang mencapai  KKM  meningkat  sebanyak  17% menjadi  82,1% atau 23  siswa.  Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Google Classroom dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran matematika dikelas.Kata Kunci: matematika, hasil belajar, google classroom

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe formulation of this research was the effect of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model learning toward the matematical problem solving abilities students eighth grade of SMP Negeri 53 Palembang. This experiment’s research used Posttest-Only Control Design with sample of 62 students were taken by using cluster sampling technique. A experiment class got treatment by using Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model learning and a control class got a treatment by using conventional model learning with each class numbering 31 students. Technique for collecting the data used test technique. In analyzing the data, the writter usedIndependent Sample t-Test with 5% significant level. The conclusion of this research was there were significant influence between Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model learning toward the matematical problem solving abilities students to the eighth grade students of Junior High School 53 of Palembang.Keywords: AIR learning model, conventional learning model, matematical problem solving abilities

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve mathematical communication skills through the Problem Posing learning model. The method used in this research is (Classroom Action Research). The subjects of the study were 11 students of Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Bengkulu University 11 students in conference courses in odd semester 2019/2020. Stages of Study for Classroom Action are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results obtained after being given an action is an increase in student communication skills through the Problem Posing learning model compared to learning before that increase by 60.Keywords: Communication Ability, Problem Posing

Abstract

The new paradigm of learning has placed the students to participate actively in the learning process. One of the consequence is that the learning process must use the variative methods, not only about the transfer of knowledge from teacher to students. This research is more being focused on the objective of the research in action in the class to improve ability of mathematical understandingof students which performed in implement method by usingConcept Mapping. This research used classroom action research ini class VII B SMPN 15 Bengkulu city. This research was observation action in the class that done by callaborative between the researcher and teachers. In collecting the data used by some instrument suchs interview, observation sheet of teachers and students, and essay sheet of mathematical reasoning ability.Based on observation, the result of this research was, in learning by using learning method Concept Mapping was good. Activity of teachers and student show good category. The result of reasoning ability test in cyclewas ability of students show enought category (50% of 22 students) and in the next cycle improve become good category (100% of 22 students). Keywords: Concept Mapping, mathematical understanding

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research. The aim of the study is improving student’s learning achievement  on mathematics subject at class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu by using Guided Inquiry learning model. The instrument of data collection is a test for student’s learning  achievement. The subjects of the study were students of class VII A SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu concist of 33 students. The study was conducted in three cycles, in which cycles consisted of four meetings and one final test of cycle. Each cycles consist of 4 steps, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The indicator of success in this study is 80% of all students who get score of ≥75. The results showed that the application of Guided Inquiry learning model can improve student’s learning achievement on mathematics. In cycle one, the average score of the students was 64.89 with classical learning completeness was 54,55%. Cycle two  the average score of the students was 78.83 with classical learning completeness was 75.76%.  The average score of the students and classical completeness was 85.76 and 87.88%. Keywords: Learning Achievement, Guided Inquiry Learning

Abstract

This study aims to know whether teaching materials developed were valid and practical at the triangle of material through PMRI in junior high school. The research began by interviewing teachers in SMPN 2 Bengkulu city was obtained information that in mathematics on triangular material still has difficulty at understanding the concept. The teaching material developed in this study was in the student books, teacher books and lesson plan (RPP). Development of this resource referred to the mode of development of 4-D (four-D) that was Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. However, this study was only done until the stage of development (development) only. At the defining stage has been done as much as five steps of the activity. At the design stage, researchers prepared a prototype by designing instructional materials in the form of books developed through PMRI.Keywords  :Teaching materials, Triangle, PMRI
