Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) pada materi struktur atom dan pengaruhnya terhadap sikap ilmiah siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. Metodologi: Penelitian ini termasuk quasi eksperiment dengan dengan desain one shot case study. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi yang terdiri dari lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model kooperatif tipe TPS dan sikap ilmiah. Data dianalisis untuk melihat pengaruh keterlaksanaan model TPS terhadap sikap ilmiah siswa dilakukan dengan uji regresi linier dan uji signifikansi dengan uji t. Temuan utama: Keterlaksanaan model PjBL dikategorikan baik, ditinjau dari guru dan siswa dengan rata-rataberturut-turut 81,25% dan 74,78%. Sikap ilmiah siswa dikategorikan baik dengan rata-rata untuk tiga kali pertemuan adalah 73,97%. Hasil uji korelasi antara keterlaksanaan model TPS oleh siswa dengan sikap ilmiah siswa diperoleh rxy = 0,707. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji-t diperoleh thitung = 6,16 dan ttabel = 2,02 dengan dk=38 dan α = 0,05. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan thitung > ttabel (6,16 > 2,02) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS berjalan dengan baik dan terdapat pengaruh antara keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan sikap ilmiah siswa pada materi struktur atom kelas X di SMAN 1 Kota Jambi. Keterbaruanpenelitian: Keterbaharuan pada penelitian adalah melengkapi penelitian sebelumnya dengan membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS berpengaruh terhadap sikap ilmiah siswa.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to determine whether learning using the Problem-Based Learning model can increase student activity and learning outcomes in class X heat and temperature material, especially class XB SMA Xaverius 2 Jambi. Methodology: This research is a classroom action research carried out in three cycles. The types of data in this study were qualitative and quantitative data collected through formative tests and observations of teacher and student activities through observation sheets. Main Findings: The results showed that using the Problem-Based Learning learning model increased student learning activities and resulted in each cycle. In cycle I, the average proportion of student activity was 69.07%. In cycle II, it was 79.85%, and in cycle III, it was 86.88%. Novelty/Originality of this study: Research by applying the Problem-Based Learning learning model in physics learning to increase student activity and learning outcomes on the subject of temperature and heat in class X SMA Xaverius 2 Jambi.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The research aims to increase students' activity and learning outcomes in Class X in Senior high school 10 Kota Jambi. Methodology: The research method used is mixed. This research is a Classroom Action Research carried out in three cycles. Retrieval of qualitative data using student activity observation sheets and teacher activity during the teaching and learning process. Retrieval of quantitative data in the form of objective tests held at the end of each learning cycle. Main findings: From the results of the study, it showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes for each cycle, namely, 59.53 for the cycle I to 69.38 for cycle II and 75.48 for cycle III. While increasing the average percentage of student activity. In cycle I was 47.24%, the average percentage of student activity increased to 60.17% in cycle II, and experienced another increase in cycle III to 70.87%. Novelty/Originality of this study: That research using the two stay two stray learning model to improve learning outcomes is very little done in high schools, mostly the application of the two stay two stray model is applied in elementary schools

Abstract

Purpose of study: Aims to determine product development procedures and test product validity so that it meets eligibility as teaching materials. Methodology: The research procedure is carried out through the steps of developing a 4-D model, namely define, design, development, and disperse using a descriptive method. This study uses a 4-D development model and is limited to the development stage (develop). Main Findings: The results of this study indicate that the media and material expert validator stated that the electronic module based on explicit learning on momentum and impulse material had a very good proportion of 90%, so that it was declared feasible and as many as 88.67% of students were interested in learning to use the electronic module. This shows that the electronic module based on explicit learning on momentum and impulse material is very good and feasible to be used as a physics teaching material in class XI in Senior high school. Novelty/Originality of this study: The latest in this research is the basis used. Because this research is based on explicit instructions that have never been done by previous research.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to investigate senior high school students’ multiple intelligences and their academic achievement in science. Methodology: This study employs a descriptive correlational research design. The respondents of this study were 300 in the 11th Grade of senior high school students. The Multiple Intelligences Inventory is used to assess students' intelligence, while their final grade in science measures academic achievement. Main Findings: The results of this study showed that senior high school students possess all intelligence to a great extent. Existential intelligence obtained the highest mean score of 3.96, as possessed by the respondents. On the other hand, musical intelligence got the lowest mean score of 3.60. It also showed that all multiple intelligences correlate with academic performance achievement. The correlation analysis showed that all multiple intelligences were statistically significant and could positively predict academic achievement in science. Novelty/Originality of this study: This present study may give insights to teachers about integrating multiple intelligences in the classroom.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Honest behavior is one of the positive behaviors that every individual needs to have from an early age. This study aims to analyze the honest behavior of students in learning Physics, especially the material of heat and its transfer at SMA Negeri 7 Jambi City. Methodology: This research design uses a descriptive type, where the researcher describes the honest attitude of students. This research was at Senior High School 7 in Jambi City. The population in this study were all students of class XII IPA SMA Negeri 7 Jambi City with a total of 60 respondents. Main Findings: From the results of identifying the attitude of honesty in class XII IPA students at Senior High School 7 in Jambi City based on the parameters that have been explained that the character level of honest behavior of class XII IPA students of Senior High School 7 in Jambi City is in the “Good” category. Novelty/Originality of this study: After the research was carried out, it was found that this research was updated, namely being able to find out how the attitude of honesty of class XI I students, especially at Senior High School 7 in Jambi city.
