Abstract

Garlic is a very profitable plant, both used as a spice in cooking and medicine. Garlic can also be processed by fermentation and produce black garlic. The garlic fermentation process requires temperature and humidity, both parameters must be monitored and controlled stably. Corresponding With that, a black garlic fermentation tool can be designed by utilizing the NRF node as a communication medium between the fermentation tool and user. In this tool, system control is carried out by Arduino Uno microcontroller which has an input in the form of a DHT21 sensor, this sensor will detect the temperature and humidity in the fermentation tool. The fermentation process takes 2-4 weeks, so this requires timing using RTC. From the results of the temperature, humidity and time information using the communication node between the fermentation tool and monitoring room will be displayed on LCD. In the monitoring room there is a microcontroller which is equipped with a GSM module to send temperature and humidity conditions in the oven to the web every day. The design of fermentation device is 2 electric ovens. On the inside of the oven there is a DHT21 sensor to detect temperature and humidity, and there is a fan that is useful for maintaining the oven temperature conditions to remain stable. In black garlic fermentation using a temperature of 40-50 ° C, time for 21 weeks and a total weight of 3.24 kg in each oven to get the desired maturity of black garlic fermentation.

Abstract

Kretek cigarettes are a type of cigarette that is still in demand today. The manufacturing of kretek cigarettes in factories still has limitations, especially in the process weighing cigarettes per stick. From this problem, a tool is needed to separate cigarettes based on the weight of the cigarette that has been determined per stick. And the results of the cigarette weight sorter can be monitored via the website to reduce errors in the size of the clove cigarette. The method used in this study is to make a cigarette sorting tool using a conveyor with a DC servo motor component as a driving force for the conveyor to be 3 parts by weight, namely parts weigh <1.5 grams, parts weight> 1.5 grams and parts = 1.5. gram. Based on the results of the study, 1 pack of cigarettes where each pack contains 12 cigarettes shows that there are 2 cigarettes <1.5 grams, 7 cigarettes> 1.5 grams and 3 cigarettes corresponding to 1.5 grams. The results of the study indicate that the manufacture of a cigarette sorting system on the conveyor can help the cigarette weighing process to be more precise.

Abstract

The system of weighing goods on the market today still uses a manual system. It can be seen in traditional markets that sell fruits and meat whose weighing system only provides output in the form of object weight and price without saving the results of the data and has not automatically sent measurement data to the database. The purpose of this tool is to solve the problem, to provide information about the type of material that is weighed by pressing the material code on the keypad and provide load weight data and total weighing price measurement results to the customer and send the data of into a database so the owner businesses can monitor the results of weight materials and the total price and can verify the income. The result is to provide scale measurement data about material's name, ingredient's weight and the total price of ingredients. The data is sent to the database and then the incoming data will be recorded from NodeMCU and the data will appear on the website or SmartPhone.The conclusion is the calibration process using a 20Kg Load Cell sensor gets a calibration_factor of 48530 to get a value of 0.00Kg and a readability of 10 grams. The tool has 10 codes that have been made, each code has a type of material and a different price for each button. Delay time of sending data is about 0.051 to 0.197 ms, which means excellent quality according to the TIPHON standard.

Abstract

Charging the smartphone battery can be done via powerbank or default charger from the smartphone still using the cable for charging the electricity. Charging using a cable certainly limits the use of the smartphone when it is charging. Smartphone users can not be far from the electric socket which of course is troublesome if this happens in the middle of a room that has a few electrical sockets. To solve this problem, now many wireless charging smartphones or smartphones have been developed wireless charger. Behind the benefits obtained from a wireless charger, it also has disadvantages, namely the transmission distance is short, even there is no distance and the transmitted power is unstable. Wireless chargers are based on the principle of magnetic induction in which electricity is transferred between two objects through a coil. Wireless charger consists of the primary coil as a charger (usually in the form of a thin board or cylinder), and the secondary coil is located on the back of the cellphone. Based on the results, the output power is obtained. The largest wireless charger is 0.027W with a coil diameter of 8cm in all the number of primary coils, namely 40 turns, 50 turns, and 60 turns at a primary and secondary coil distance of 0cm to 1cm. The farthest distance from the wireless charger output power test is 6cm as well as the 8cm coil diameter for all the number of primary coil turns, namely 40 turns, 50 turns, and 60 turns.

Abstract

PBX is a telephone communication connection device that is commonly used in buildings that require a telephone connection. However, some PBX products cannot be directly connected to analog telephones, so they require a module called an S2 module. S2 module can converts the port on the PBX to an FXS port that can be connected to an analog phone. Apart from PBX, there is ITG which can be used as telephone line communication. However, ITG already has an FXS port so it does not require additional modules. In Indonesia, there are standard provisions for the use of analog telephone communication devices which have been regulated in SNI for analog telephones. This research examines analog telephone communication devices according to SNI in Indonesia. The results of this test show the TA400 and MyPBX Standard at the impedance value when the on-hook state gets an average value of 64 K?, when the off-hook condition averages a value of 343 ?, the AC voltage test when the call comes on average gets a value of 343 ?. a value of 60 VAC, which means that it meets the SNI standard.

Abstract

Diesel engines is generally used for industrial and agricultural machines. Few people care about the engine temperature so it is forced to reach temperature of 100oC, which causes overheating of the diesel engine and has an impact on the performance itself. This also uses a hopper cooling system which is certainly not effective, because it's necessary to see that the water in the reservoir is still or not, also not equipped with an engine temperature display so it's difficult to ascertain the temperature inside. This study aims to monitor and control the temperature of cooling water. Operation of temperature control uses a telecontrol system that is connected to network (Internet of Things) so diesel temperature control can be done remotely. Monitoring of temperature and water level in the reserve tank using Web Mobile. In addition, there is a temperature sensor that is used to measure the temperature of the cooling water so that users can monitor the temperature of the diesel engine on Web Mobile. The test results obtained, the temperature sensor has an average temperature reading error of 0.031004%. Diesel engines with controlled solenoid valve cooling systems can produce ideal temperatures compared to when the solenoid valve is open (using the radiator continuously) or when the solenoid valve is Closed (without using a radiator). When the solenoid is controlled the engine temperature can be ideal because the solenoid valve opening and closing system has the lowest temperature of 56.34oC and the highest temperature of only 80.85oC.

Abstract

The wireless sensor network is a network consisting of sensor devices that detect nearby symptoms and then send information about the obtained results. Earthquakes are natural phenomena that can come at any time. So we need a tool that works automatically to give a warning as soon as possible when a WSN-based earthquake occurs to anticipate community rescue and reduce the number of casualties. This earthquake simulation alert will provide two notifications. Visual notifications displayed on the LCD and from the web. The sound notification issued by the buzzer will be different depending on the vibration received by the SW-420 sensor. Parameter earthquake used is MMI (modified mercalli intensity) using a visual assessment, international earthquake parameters. SIG (earthquake intensity scale) which already has a PGA (Peak Ground Acceleration) unit and includes MMI in it which is made by BMKG. After an excessive vibration is detected and it exceeds a predetermined limit, the MCU node will send an analog signal to the buzzer to provide a notification that has been set. For each appear notification, it aims to direct the public as soon as possible to assembly point that has been set in each building. Each detected vibration will be stored in WEB database. The vibration results detected by the sensor are a value of 0 (low) and 1 (high). These results will be sampled and produce an output in the form of Earthquake Intensity Scale.

Abstract

Employee attendance is one of the most important elements in office activities. Attendance is a data collection activity to determine the number of employee attendance. The employee attendance system at the ngajum sub-district office uses fingerprint technology (Fingerprint). This system is indeed very easy and efficient, but in the sub-district office there are several employees who have difficulty carrying out the fingerprint attendance process because the fingerprints are peeled off or have certain diseases make fingerprints smooth. So that the fingerprint attendance (Fingerprint) at the sub-district office is not used and returns to the manual system. The purpose of this research is to design an employee attendance information system to enter and leave by utilizing the National Identity Card or KTP. For checking IDKTP uses the NFC Reader PN532 which is connected to Arduino Uno as a microcontroller, Raspberry pi as a web server, webcam, LCD display, and buzzer as a sign of success in making attendance. Based on the test results it can be concluded, the NFC reader used can read ID KTP in position vertical and horizontal with a distance of less than 16 mm. When there is a mica barrier and a glass barrier the maximum reading distance is less than 14 mm while the plate and aluminum foil barrier cannot be read. The existence of a barrier makes the distance to read the KTP will be reduced.

Abstract

Nowadays the exchange of information is easier to obtain, also communication process is faster and not hindered by regional factors. This process is supported by telecommunications devices, such as telephones. The use of telephones in agency generally uses PBX system because it has advantages in cost, flexibility, and communication security. With the development of the era, the technology of PBX devices must be updated, but there is a solution besides updating the device, which is to add modules or devices while still using the existing PBX. This research discuss the analysis regarding the comparison of service quality of the Internet Telephony Gateway with the FXS module. The system uses the network as a medium for exchanging communication data, so all communication devices used must be connected to the local network. Communication between devices can occur when each communication device is registered on the PBX server. Testing the quality service is influenced by amount of jitter, packet loss, and throughput. From the test results, it can be concluded that the number of active users simultaneously affects the value of jitter, packet loss, and throughput. When 8 ports of the FXS module are used simultaneously, the average jitter value reaches 27,625 ms, the packet loss value is 156,875%, and the throughput is 66,625 kb/s. Meanwhile, the TA1600 was able to serve 16 users with an average jitter value of 57,875 ms, packet loss reaching 227.31%, and a throughput of 26.31 kb/s. These results were obtained through the Zoiper application statistical data.

Abstract

In a boarding house, there is a boarding house owner/manager who monitors and supervises. For tenants, you can make payments only when meeting with the boarding house owner/manager. In practice, boarding house owners are not always in the boarding house so there is a difficulty in monitoring the boarding payments for each room. The purpose of this final project is to make a tool to be able to monitor and manage boarding through the android smartphone media. In this system, boarding house owners can find out the payment status of each room and tenants can also find out the remaining rental time. This system is also installed with a doorlock solenoid which can be controlled by the boarding house owner via the Android application to open and close the boarding house door if the tenant has/has not made a payment. The process of sending data from the device installed in the room to the Android smartphone using an intermediary NodeMcu and sending data to Firebase so that the status can be monitored in realtime. In each room there is also a notification system in the form of an LED light. The LED light will give a warning about the remaining time of the boarding house rental. The conclusion in this final project, the application can perform monitoring realtime and tenants can control the solenoid with an average delay of 1m 68s. For sending data from hardware to the database, it has a delay of 0.2139673s which is quite good.
