Abstract

This study aimed to find out how to analyze the subject and archive metadata at the Limapuluh PoliceSector, Pekanbaru City. The method used is descriptive with mixed quantitative and qualitative, with a sample of 189 archives in the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Limapuluh Police Sector, Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that from a total of 189 archives, the percentage of archives was very high on the subject of theft as many as 139 archives (73.54%), followed by the subject of Embezzlement (6.88 %), Cheating and Fraud (4.76%),crimes against public order (4.23%), Crimes against morality (3.17%), Printing of Criminal Aid Receipts (3.70%.), Persecution (1.59%), Crimes Against People's Liberties (0.53%), Crimes Against Life (0.53%), Destroying or Damaging Goods, (0.53%), the Limapuluh Police Sector in Pekanbaru, has already put it efforts to matching the Metadata of the Police Archives. So that it has complied with provisions in inputting data into the register book. The Limapuluh Police Sector provided easy access to conventional metadata, within the year 2017 to 2019

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the publication trend of open access journals in Indonesia. A systematic review was used as the research method in this study. The focus of this study is to identify the themes that are most frequently discussed and discovered in studies on open access journals in Indonesia. According to the findings of this study, the most frequently discussed research themes were those concerning journal governance, marketing strategies, user perspectives, and matrices. Although several themes were discovered, the most frequently discussed theme was journal governance, specifically the challenges and problems faced by journal managers. Financing issues, journal quality, and piracy are among the challenges and issues discussed. This is due to the state of open access journals, which are still evolving in response to technological advancements.

Abstract

The preference of information sources in preparation for the National Science Olympiad among high school students in the city of Surabaya, has the aim of explaining and knowing how the preferences or selection of information sources among high school students are to prepare themselves to confront OSN. The number of sources of information widespread among high school students will lead to a choice of information sources that can later be used as references by students to meet academic needs and for the needs of the National Science Olympiad (OSN). The ability of students to access and obtain information sources effectively can be a provision that must be mastered by students in selecting information sources. That way, students will get sources of information according to their needs in preparing for OSN. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods and purposive sampling. The data collection method was taken from questionnaires and secondary data. This study analyzes the selection of printed and non-printed sources of information and the factors behind respondents choosing information sources. The results obtained from this research are that students tend to have multiple preferences, it can be proven by as many as 49% of respondents choosing to use both sources of information (printed and non-printed), this shows different results from previous research and uses as the theory of this research proposed by Jhon Steppen B. Arenas, et al. .al. (2018) The factors behind the choice of information sources available by students are due to the availability of collections in locations where students make choices, and also the convenience provided when selecting information sources, both printed and non-printed sources of information to prepare for the National Science Olympiad ( OSN). The selection of information sources is also inseparable from the important role of the library, as a location to find sources of information that can support OSN preparation.

Abstract

This descriptive research describes the benchmark between the Philippine librarian certification system and mechanism with Indonesia librarian certification system and mechanism. The data is derived from a deep interview with a Philippine senior librarian who is also a member board of the PRC. Eight important variables are significant to be conducted in further research. The result should be followed up by the National Library of Indonesia together with the librarian association and other relevant stakeholders.

Abstract

Arts galleries atau galeri seni merupakan tempat dimana para seniman dapat memamerkan hasil karyanya kepada orang-orang. Publikasi ilmiah yang membahas tentang galeri seni atau art galleries masih belum banyak dihasilkan dan publikasi ilmiah tentang art galleries pada Scopus masih belum terbilang banyak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perkambangan publikasi mengenai art galleries tahun 2018-2021. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis bibliometrika menggunakan VOSviewer dengan sumber data yang berasal dari artikel ilmiah tentang art galleries yang terindeks oleh Scopus pada tahun 2018-2021. Hasil temuan yang didapatkan yaitu publikasi tentang art galleries tahun 2018-2021 berdasarkan data dari Scopus sebanyak 1.581 dokumen. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan berupa network visualization, overlay visualization, dan density visualization dengan dua tipe analisis yaitu co-authorship dan co-occurrence. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah topik yang paling banyak dibahas pada publikasi ilmiah art galleries tahun 2018-2020 adalah art, human, humans, person re identification, deep learning, state of the art, dan security system.
