Abstract

This study is descriptive research with a quantitative approach, the research subjects as many as 131 students from 7 different skill program classes in class XII SMK N 1 Palangka Raya. The questionnaire uses a likert scale and is created in the form of a Google form, then distributed online to students. After that, the data is analyzed using the achievement degree formula (DP) and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the average percentage of interest of students of SMK N 1 Palangka Raya towards the selection of Program Building Engineering Education Study of Palangka Raya University amounted to 72.67% and belonged to the category of quite in demand. While the factors that affect the interest of students of SMK N 1 Palangka Raya continue their studies in the Building Engineering Education Study Program of The University of Palangka Raya, namely self-motivation factors, opportunity factors, social environmental factors and institutional factors are simultaneously indicated with a significance value of less than 0.05 and Fcalculated greater than Ftable (41,898 > 2.44). The most partially significant factor is the institutional factor with tcalculated value greater than the ttable value (7.605 > 1.97897). This research can be developed again, considering that only 55.7% of the free variables discussed in this study are able to explain bound variables,in addition this study can be used as an evaluation material on improving the promotion of PTB UPR Study Program

Abstract

The material of composing an equivalent force became the focus of this study. Researcher want to see deeper and broader understanding of students related to this material. One teacher's information that most students make mistakes in solving the problem in the form of a description on the subject of engineering mechanics. The purpose of this study is to describe the mistakes made by students in completing the description of the material in composing an equivalent force in the thenth grade of Construction and Property SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Population in this research is thenth grade of Business of Construction and Property of SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya is 23 people. Sampling by purposive sampling so chosen 4 subject of students with criterion of student can represent every aspect in making mistake that is mistake in comprehension problem, make mathematical model, calculation and draw conclusion, and able to communicate well. Data collection was done by test and interview method. From the research obtained the average result of the percentage of students who make mistakes in the aspects of understanding the problem of 5.44%, the error occurs because students do not write a complete what is known and asked in the matter. For the aspect of making a mathematical model of 21.74%, though students can write what is known and asked from the test questions but students are not able to change what is known into the mathematical model. For the calculation aspect of 35.87%, the error occurs due to wrong students in addition and calculation in the form of the root so that the results obtained are not appropriate. Students do not include a unit symbol into the calculation process. For Aspects to draw conclusions of 90.2%, errors occur because students do not write conclusions and students do not return answers into context questions, this can be seen from the answers of students who are less precise.

Abstract

This study aims to create a garden landscape design with a minimalist design in the Building Engineering Education Study Program Building. The existence of a good, comfortable, and cool garden can have a good influence on its users. Parks can be a place for socializing, studying, doing research or just resting and taking shelter. The reason for choosing a garden design with a minimalist concept is based on the main building which has a similar concept and a minimalist concept and is a concept that tends to be more modern and economical with dynamic, firm and simple design characteristics. The research begins with a search for references, then field research in the form of surveys and measurements, then sketches and pre-design plans are made to find the right design until it becomes the design that is used as the agreed design. Design drawings consist of 2D and 3D images. Garden design consists of garden elements of soft materials in the form of plants, especially endemic plants of Kalimantan and garden elements of hard materials in the form of natural stone slabs used as walkways or rock ornaments to beautify gardens, fences or walls, pieces wood, street lamps and pergolas.

Abstract

Plastic bottle is waste that can be utilized. This research is used as additive in concrete mixtures can provide an alternative to Utilize the waste. Such as waste plastic bottles PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate). Optimizing the utilization of waste plastic bottles PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is expected to reduce the waste that pollutes the environment and provide added value. The fiber to be used as an additive in concrete mixtures. The fibers are mixed with fine aggregate, water and PPC cement type I gresik brands. Concrete mix design using SNI 03-2843-2000 about how making plans mixture of normal concrete. Tests using a cylinder measuring 10 cm x 20 cm, each variation using 10 samples consisting of five variations (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%) and tested at 14 and 28 days in Laboratory Studies Engineering Education building the Faculty of Education University of Palangkaraya.Average compressive strength at 14 days for variations of coarse aggregate mixture of chopped plastic bottle 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%, respectively for 23:02 MPa; 12:35 MPa; 10.49 MPa; 9.6 MPa; 8.83 MPa. Average compressive strength at 28 days for variations of coarse aggregate mixture of chopped plastic bottle 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%, respectively for 25.77 MPa; 13.62 MPa; 11.84 MPa; 10.8 MPa; 10:28 MPa

Abstract

The research was motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in the material of composing an equivalent force. Student who less actively involved in the learning process, learning group has not been managed well, the student who is good, medium and low receive equal treatment, not to be rewarded for the best student, good and lowest. The good student very extremely rare to help the weaker students. This research makes use of the quantitative method research and models of type STAD cooperative learning with population student of X technic of building construction sanitation and treatment as many as 28 people. Formulation of the problem in this study is how the application of models of type STAD cooperative learning can improve learning outcomes the material of composing an equivalent force and how the response of student in grade at class X technic of building construction sanitation and treatment SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya year 2017/2018. Succesful implementation of type STAD cooperative learning models in the material of composing an equivalent force is to know to an increase and decrease in class X technic of building construction sanitation and treatment of the prior action is pre-test to post-test. In the prior action, the student who can achieve the minimum of criteria competition (KKM) as many as 0 (0%) people with average value are 36.79. At LKS execution in a group, the student who is can achieve the minimum of competition as many as 28(100%) people with the average value is 75,34. At the postest after, students who are complete as many as 15(53.57%) with the average value is 59.88 and completeness level is 53.57%. In a totality value, the student who is complete as many as 15(53.57%) with average value is 65.37 and completeness classical is 53.57%. Although the thoroughness of student increased from the prior action to the finish value or after action, the classical or the overall student learning outcomes have not reached 85% KKM set at 70, on an individual basis there is some student who does not complete. Thus it can be retrieved the conclusion by the application of the model of type STAD cooperative learning can improve learning outcomes in class X technic of building construction sanitation and treatment SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya year 2017/2018
