Journal of Computer Science and Information Technology is a threetly journal published by Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK, Padang. It publishes scientific and technical papers describing original research work or novel product/process development. Abstract

Mental retardation is a mental disability which is also known as Intellectual Disability or mental retardation. Intellectual Disability is characterized by significant limitations in intellectual functioning, significant limitations in adaptive behavior, including cognitive, social, and practical adaptive skills. SLB YPAC West Sumatra is one of the special schools that prioritizes quality services for people with disabilities to increase independence. These services need to be carried out to minimize obstacles or disturbances of repetitive, aggressive behavior and other balance disorders. At SLB YPAC West Sumatra, 100% still use experts for their services. With the problems that exist in SLB YPAC West Sumatra which still uses a manual system, an expert system is created that can diagnose children with mental retardation using the Certainty Factor method. By using data on types of mental retardation and some symptoms, it was found that mentally retarded people at SLB YPAC West Sumatra suffer from moderate mental retardation with a CF value of 0.33. This research is expected to help SLB YPAC West Sumatra and service to be faster and also help the performance of employees at SLB YPAC West Sumatra

Abstract

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a tool that can help organizations/companies to achieve their goals. Models that can be developed in relationships are trust and commitment. Trust can come when both parties share experiences. The rapid development of information and technology has led to significant changes in business competition. Rani 2 Supermarkets are modern shopping centers that provide a variety of household needs at low prices and quality. Rani Supermarkets is located at Jl. Zeinizein Painan Pesisir Selatan District. The Rani 2 Supermarket has implemented strategies to build customer loyalty, such as providing additional discounts, facilitating transactions, giving certain customer cards. The problem is that supermarkets don't know which customers are loyal and haven't based it on a pattern. One method that can be used in analyzing CRM is data mining. Clustering with the K-Means grouping technique will produce customer information based on clusters. This cluster is divided into two, namely productive customer clusters and less productive customer clusters. The problem to be solved with this method is how knowledge is useful for the company, namely increasing customer loyalty. Through the K-Means Cluster Technique, this will be used as material for implementing a customer relationship management strategy with the aim of increasing customer loyalty and sales volume

Abstract

Company PT. ALS is a ground transportation service company that transports passengers between cities and provinces. Buses from PT. ALS has been a mainstay and pride of the community, especially in its timely service in taking passengers to their destination. Promotion at PT. Currently, the ALS assessment process for selecting employee promotions is carried out by supervisors in each division who directly evaluate employee performance. Then in the process of selecting the position of the candidate who has the highest score based on certain criteria who will occupy the required position in accordance with the required criteria. Data calculations are done manually using Microsoft Excel but have not used the computer system optimally. The basis for this research is to help PT. ALS in making a decision in selecting employee promotions. Position is a group of positions that are almost the same in an agency, institution or company. For employees, the results of the assessment can be used as feedback on work performance, so that they have a basis for consideration for planning their career development. This research will be conducted using the Multi Factor Evaluation Process method by processing several criteria for decision making. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the results of this assessment can be used by the company to base decision-making in terms of reward system (compensation), promotion, training and career planning.

Abstract

good Information Technology (IT) governance is needed . Ineffective IT governance can cause unexpected cost losses, suboptimal service, low quality of IT use and failure of IT to provide value to the organization. Analysis of IT governance in the Office of Communication and Informatics (Diskominfo) in Lima Puluh Kota Regency aims to measure the maturity level and determine the extent of IT governance in the Diskominfo Office in Lima Puluh Kota Regency using the Cobit 4.1 framework . The Cobit 4.1 method is an information system audit method used by IT Governance. COBIT 4.1 functions to bring together all control needs and technical issues, besides that COBIT is also designed to be a tool to solve problems by managing risks and relationships between information resources. Based on the results of calculating the maturity level that has been achieved by each process domain PO1, PO4 , AI3, AI4, DS3, DS5, ME1, ME2, the maturity level results are obtained currently the analysis of IT governance in the Fifty Cities District Diskominfo Office is at level level 4 with a value of 3.95 . This shows that the analysis of IT governance at the Fifty Cities District Office of Communication and Information has implemented IT standards throughout the agency environment

Abstract

In this case, as a motivation to improve the performance of health workers at the Selat Panjang Health Center UPT, an exemplary health worker election was held. It also aims to reward those who have served themselves at the Selat Panjang Health Center for a long time. However, the method of selecting exemplary health workers still uses the manual method, especially in determining the final score of all stages of the assessment. In addition, the assessment team was still considered not to be transparent in deciding which health worker received the highest or best score. The development of a computing system is indispensable to facilitate the work of the jury team in selecting and assigning the best health workers objectively, professionally and transparently. Therefore a web-based decision support system was designed by applying the TOPSIS (Technique For Others Reference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method. The TOPSIS method is a multicriteria decision-making method or an alternative choice which is an alternative that has the smallest distance from the positive ideal solution and the largest distance from the negative ideal solution from a geometric point of view using Euclidean distance. The results obtained from this study are those who fulfill the requirements as exemplary health workers, namely alternative 1 named Rizky with a value of 0.5869. With the construction of the new system, it is hoped that it will be able to overcome the problems experienced by the UPT Selat Panjang Health Center

Abstract

Tempe A-Zaki Padang is one of the developing tempe industries in the city of Padang and wants to maintain the quality and safety of the products it produces. Problems that exist in the current system, such as separating intact soybeans, damaged soybeans, and wrinkled soybeans by sorting/separating them using the manual method will require quite a bit of time, in addition to using the manual method it will also require labor force is quite a lot and the costs incurred are relatively large. To overcome these problems, this study aims to build a decision support system (DSS) by applying the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method is a calculation method that is carried out by determining alternatives where each alternative will be assessed based on predetermined criteria and has been given a weight on each criterion assessment. The SAW method will help find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. This decision support system is web-based using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this study showed that green soybeans had the highest utility value, namely 0.8525, with these results making it easier for the Tempe A-zaki Padang House to classify quality soybeans.

Abstract

The high need for photocopiers makes machine operations very high for a long time. This situation makes the condition of the machine to be down and easily damaged. This machine is a complex machine that is interconnected with one another , so it needs expert handling in repairing it. The limited number of technicians makes machines that are damaged for a long time to be repaired, so we need a system that can replace the position of experts in repairing copiers. The Case Based Reasoning (CBR) method is a method for building a system that works by diagnosing new cases based on old cases. occurred and provide solutions to new cases based on old cases that have a high similarity value. Just like humans can do reasoning, Case Based Reasoning is developed to do reasoning like humans. With reasoning, Case Based Reasoning can retrieve and equalize past solutions that are stored and used to solve current problems. Photocopiers at Fotocopy Cahaya currently require maximum operational handling due to the high level of use being made. In this research an expert system will be built in light photocopying by applying the Case Based Reasoning (CBR) method. The system built is made up of the PHP programming language and MySQL database to diagnose photocopier damage. The result of this research is a system that can diagnose photocopiers and produce a solution based on the damage experienced by the machine. By implementing an expert system using the Case Based Reasoning method, it will make it easier for Fotocopy Cahaya to diagnose the damage experienced by the machine and find the right solution to overcome the damage

Abstract

Livestock is a part of the agricultural sector in Indonesia's national development which aims to increase the income and welfare of farmers and ranchers. This is evidenced by the growth rate which is always positive and the contribution which tends to increase, one of which is the Agam Regency Animal Husbandry Service. In providing assistance, the Livestock Service Office of Agam Regency, in providing assistance, livestock assistance is often not on target and the livestock assistance that is given is not properly managed because often groups of farmers or livestock after receiving assistance after being checked again, the livestock that are given are not well cared for. In providing livestock assistance, it is still being carried out by using a manual process, namely the Agam Regency Animal Husbandry Service in providing assistance does not use a special calculation method such as using the scientific method. The implementation of the Decision Support System in this study uses the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method, which is a combination method of the WP method and the SAW method. The WASPAS method is expected to provide better results in assisting the determination of decision support systems. Then the best solution will be made to help make a decision to determine the feasibility of livestock assistance using the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method. The results of this study that get the highest ranking is Breeder 4 with a preference value of 0.84. This research also produces a decision support system that can analyze the right assistance to be given to farmers so that farmers can receive assistance according to the problems they face.

Abstract

Technological developments are currently experiencing very rapid changes along with human needs that are increasingly numerous and complex. Not only in the fields of health, education, agriculture, and so forth. However, the electronics industry has also been affected by the development of this technology. The production of household electronic devices or home appliances that combine sophistication of technology and modern designs has emerged and is much in demand by the public, one of which is the refrigerator. Even with the development of this technology, it does not mean that the refrigerator can function properly forever if it is used continuously. Because the refrigerator requires maintenance and repair if there is damage. In diagnosing damage to a 2-door no frost home appliances refrigerator, limitations in information, knowledge, and experience from the public and technicians cause delays in recognizing the damage that has occurred, which also affects decision-making in handling it. Then a system will be formed using an expert system computer program with the Certainty Factor method. The Certainty Factor method is a method for accommodating statements from an expert in their delivery. where a website-based expert system is created that can be used without any space and time limitations to help new technicians and the public. The result of testing this method is the resulting accuracy rate of more than 90% of the data has been tested so that it can assist technicians in diagnosing damage to the no frost 2 door refrigerator

Abstract

Health is one of the basic human needs of many people who pay little attention to health, especially in dental and oral health because dental and oral diseases can attack anyone and at any time. Therefore, the need for fast and precise information from a dentist is needed according to the symptoms of the disease experienced by the patient. There are many factors that make it rare for someone to do an examination and consult a dentist, including a lack of attention or awareness of dental and oral health, the high costs that must be spent for consultations, long queues that make patients uncomfortable waiting. The existence of information system technology is very influential on the progress of the Assalam Dental Clinic. Using the Expert System Certainty Factor Method and the ADDIE model helps doctors recognize the types of dental disease experienced by patients online. The Certainty Factor method is a method for proving whether a fact is certain or uncertain in the form of a metric which is usually used in expert systems. While the Analysis Design Develop Implement Evaluate (ADDIE) model is one of the systematic learning design models, this model is developed or arranged programmatically. The results of the research based on the calculations that have been carried out by means of a combination get the results of dental disease diagnoses with a high percentage level.
