Abstract

Poverty is a complex and multidimensional problem. Therefore, all poverty alleviation efforts must be carried out in a comprehensive manner and various aspects of people's lives. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Infrastructure on economy and poverty, and to analyze government policies to find infrastructure government initiatives for poverty alleviation in Indonesia towards Sustainable Development. A mixed research method was adopted, by combining quantitative and qualitative research, with a sequential explanatory design, used a hypothesis testing method which explains the effect of the independent variable (Infrastructure), on the dependent variable (Poverty Alleviation), with Economic performance as a mediating variable, and Government Policy as a moderating variable, then a qualitative approach by content analysis on mapping Central Government Policies related to Poverty Alleviation in Indonesia. We found that infrastructure has a significant effect on the economy, economy mediates the effect of Infrastructure on poverty alleviation, and Government Policy does not moderate the effect of Infrastructure on poverty alleviation. Based on these findings, it is recommended that in efforts to poverty alleviation, the government should focus on making regulations that are more effective and efficient, good management and intensive collaboration across ministries/agencies, increasing the competence of human resources and the local community, as well as being in sync with improving the community's economy. The impact of (physical) infrastructure development on poverty alleviation will be more significantly if it is combined by social and economic development

Abstract

The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on health workers, who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 fight. The issue of health worker incentives persists to this day. The occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted health workers as the front line in the fight against COVID-19. The problem of incentives for health workers continues to this day. Many factors must be considered by regulators and executors at the national and regional levels, as coordination of providing incentives for health workers is deemed ineffective. These include a failure to absorb the budget allocated for health worker incentives, particularly at the regional level, a large number of health workers complaining that incentives have not been distributed, and a reduction in incentives for those at the forefront of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, changing regulatory issues in accelerating the provision of COVID-19 health worker incentives are one of the factors that cause delays in paying health worker incentives. Even though the COVID-19 pandemic is over, it is critical to pay attention to the evaluation of policies for providing health workers incentives for COVID-19 that are not only focused on the time of the COVID-19 pandemic but also on the agenda for providing health workers incentives in general. Google Scholar was used to conduct a systematic review. Articles are then found in the search results that meet the criteria. A systematic search turned up eight articles that best matched the study objectives. The study design, perspective, and results of the evaluation of the COVID-19 health worker incentive policy vary greatly. The COVID-19 incentive program for health workers may be a solution to improving health workers' performance in health services. Delays, regulatory issues, and the availability of funds are all issues that must be addressed at a later date. So that the program's success can reflect the government's success in dealing with COVID-19.

Abstract

Public trust is an important variable in improving public services. However, the existence of unhealthy protests and demonstrations indicates the current bad public services. This study aims to analyze the issue of public services in Indonesia in a new era from an administrative perspective. The research method used in writing this scientific article is to use the method of literature study (library research) using qualitative and descriptive analysis. The New Public Service and Good Governance perspective is considered the most appropriate to answer the current condition of public service problems in Indonesia. This is supported by a more democratic political situation and open government. To effectively implement this point of view, it can be implemented using various models such as the Citizen Charter model, the KYC (Know Your Customer) model, and the Mobile Government model.

Abstract

The existence of waters in the Kepulauan Riau Province at the crossing of international shipping relations brings Indonesia various opportunities for developing valuable environmental and marine services. This research aims to make efforts and alternatives to the optimization strategy of anchorage activities in the Kepulauan Riau Province to manage the potential for environmental and marine services to increase local revenue in the border region. The research method used descriptive qualitative by using secondary data derived from documents, journals, books, websites and other supporting data that focused on analyzing the anchorage development strategy in the waters of the Riau Island Province. The data analysis technique used a data source triangulation approach. The findings show that the impact which occurs in the development of anchorage has three options for optimizing strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic; firstly, maximizing ship guiding and towing services in the Malacca Strait and Singapore Strait, secondly, ship guiding and towing services at TUKS and TERSUS must be given the authority to the Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD), namely P.T. Pelabuhan Kepri; and thirdly, the importance of controlling environmental impacts on anchorage activities in the Kepulauan Riau Province. Afterwards, the researcher also provides an alternative to implementing the Penta-helix concept as a form of monitoring anchors in the waters of the Kepulauan Riau Province.

Abstract

The main purpose of this accounting is to increase the awareness and attention of companies to the impact of their activities on the environment. Social accounting can also be a bridge between companies and non-profit organizations related to the environment. The methodology used is qualitatively using review literature on the definition of social accounting and how to measure social accounting in the process of its implementation to answer the social challenge that this social accounting audit is the answer to the license to operate for a company or non-profit organization which we often know as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The result is (1) CSR management requires companies to implement environmental protection and economic development responsibilities, so they will take the initiative to create environmental-related knowledge to adapt to changing external ecological requirements and use green technology to build market forces. (2) Some of these sustainability reporting standards must be made by the company so that in the reporting process not only financial statements but also sustainability reports are presented in the portfolio is shared publicly as an indicator of the company's commitment to the implementation of sustainability programs, where this sustainability report must be approved by a licensed certified person. (3) With the spirit of social-techno-entrepreneurship as a form of integration of all components, a company cannot separate between economic and social values, so that the interests of various parties can be accommodated simultaneously. Researchers suggest that companies must be able to present economic legitimacy (creation of job opportunities), social legitimacy (improvement of welfare), trust in interaction (corporate response defines problems in society and mutual interaction in common life into a form of License to Operate for companies or non-profit organizations.

Abstract

Under the colonial period, certain leaders of sub-Saharan Africa having received intellectual training gradually asserted themselves in the political arena. Among this elite, one of the emblematic figures is Abbé Fulbert Youlou, one of the fathers of the independence of the Congo between 1960 and 1963. He belongs to the Kongo ethnic group whose members were under French colonization, the head poster of the intellectual elite known as "the evolved" prepared to succeed the colonizer. This study displays the portrait of this character who marked the history of the young Republic of Congo. The duty of remembrance demands it from us especially on the eve of the celebrations linked to the 60 years of independence of the Congo.
