Abstract

This research backgrounded by to the number of drug crop reported to contain compound of antioksidan in gross. Effect of antioksidan at plant caused by the existence of compound of fenol like flavonoid, and acid of fenolat. Flavonoid is an compound of fenolik biggest found by in potential nature as antioksidan and have bioaktivitas as drug. This compound can be found by at bar, leaf, fruit and flower. This research represent research of done/conducted experiment in Physics laboratory that is in Material laboratory and Biophysics, and also Chemical laboratory of FMIPA, UNP. Variables which is determined in this research that is used as by drug crop leaf type is free variable consisting of leaf of Rhaphidophora pinnata (L.f.), Piper crocatum Ruiz, Annona muricata Linn and leaf of Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr, absorbance value as variable tied and used as by leaf mass is control variable. Each;Every sampel measured by absorbance value use spectrophotometer of Uv-Vis. Of absorbance value can be counted/calculated by rate value of flavonoid from various drug crop leaf type. From result of measurement of absorbance value got that leaf of sirih red have biggest absorbance, while absorbance of terendah there are at leaf of katuk. Of the absorbance can know by rate of flavonoid sampel. Rate of Flavonoid at each crop leaf type medicinize different each other. For the leaf of Rhaphidophora pinnata (L.f.) have rate of flavonoid about 26,7137 µ g / ml, for the leaf of Piper crocatum Ruiz have rate of flavonoid about 39,3778 µ g / ml. For Annona muricata Linn to have rate of flavonoi about 27,5027 µ g / ml and for the leaf of Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr have rate of flavonoid about 13,1101 µ g / ml. Abstract

The research about kinds of rocks has been done in Padang State University Air Tawar campus. Kinds of rocks can be determined by knowing the resistivity value. Wenner resistivity geoelectrical method was used to determine the rocks resistivity value. The research was done to determine the rocks resistivity value and kinds of rocks in Padang State University, Air Tawar campus. Automatic measurement was done using ARES (Automatic Resistivity) and interpretation of data was done using Res2dinv software and Least Square inversion. The result of data interpretation shows range of rocks resistivity value at sounding point 00053’44,0”S and 100020’79,8”E in 1st line is 0,675 – 300,1 Ωm, at sounding point 00053’53,1”S and 100021’02,8”E in 2nd line is 0,0145 – 208 Ωm, at sounding point 00053’48,9”S dan 100020’50,6”E in 3rd line is 0,118 – 243,7 Ωm, and at sounding point 00053’55,7”S and 100021’02,3”E in 4th line is 0,195 - 1842 Ωm. Abstract

Josephson junction consists of two superconductor materials seperated by a thin isolator. Electricity current from juction can be explained by Sine-Gordon equation. From the equation, it will be obtained model of fluxon’s wave that is one of soliton. This research’s type is desriptive which use numerical approach by finite diffrence methode. It is designed a program that use Matlab R.2010 software to solve nonlinear equation and to get soliton’s solution.  From the solution,  fluxon and anti fluxon wave property on Long Josephson Junction can be analised. The solution show soliton characteristics, that a fluxon can move for long distance without any shape changed. If there is a fluxon  or antifluxon collision,  they will preserve ordinary shape.  When a fluxon reach end of junction, fluxon will be transformed to antifluxon, and vice versa. Abstract

Objective of this reseach are to investigate the performance spesification and the design spesification of gravity force sensor base on spring and LDR. Data is collected by direct measurement and indirect measurement. Direct measurement is done to measure mass of object and output voltage of sensor. Indirect measurement is done to determine the accuracy and the precision of gravity force sensor. Data is analized by error theory and graph method. There are two mains result of this record. First, performance spesification consist of drawing-spring, LDR, signal conditioning circuit that convert weight of object into resistance and then into output voltage. Second, transfer function sensitivity of gravity force sensor is directly proportional with initial voltage is 1,516 Volt and sensitivity is 6,013 Volt/Newton. Accuracy and presicion of gravity force sensor are high, respectly 98,59 % and 0,999 Keyword: Gravity Sensor, LDR, Spring, Spesification Performance, Spesification Design

Abstract

Abstract- The research is motivated by the increasing needs of the community will be honey, especially honey forests believed to have the quality to maintain good health. The amount of honey on the market are not guaranteed authenticity. This requires a study of the quality of forest honey produced, particularly in some areas of West Sumatra. Quality honey can be determined by several parameters, one of which is of value owned viscosity of honey. This research is a descriptive study conducted in a laboratory data collection Material Physics and Biophysics Faculty UNP and School Laboratory Chemical Analyst (SMAK) Padang in May to July 2012. The samples were examined in this study is a honey of a few areas in West Sumatra include Agam District, Tanah Datar regency Sijunjung, Solok and Padang Panjang City as independent variables and the dependent variable viscosity grades. Each sample was measured viscosity values ​​using Ostwald viscometer. The results of measurements of viscosity grades of honey obtained as follows: honey from 8.3754 Poise Agam District, Tanah Datar at 17.5646 Poise, Poise District Sijunjung at 10.9615, 17.9445 Solok for Poise, and City fields lengths at 3.4588 Poise. Viscosity grades of honey derived from Solok, Tanah Datar regency Sijunjung and has a value greater than the Indonesian National Standards (SNI), which according to the ISO viscosity grades of honey are at least 10 Poise. Abstract

Measurement of magnetic fields is important because many objects are magnetic and rewarding life. One thing that is both magnetic and used in this study were iron sand. To measure the magnetic field of an object fluxgate sensor is needed to detect the magnetic field. Fluxgate sensor is a magnetic sensor that works based on changes in the magnetic flux around the sensor element. The purpose of this study is to explain the function of each part of the gauge and determine the linearity and accuracy of the measuring instrument. Measuring instrument fluxgate magnetic field sensor based consists of two essential parts, namely the elements of the fluxgate sensor and its supporting series consisting of power supply circuit, signal processing circuit, and a microcontroller circuit. After the measurements are obtained linearity of the current magnetic field in the solenoid is 0.990. While the accuracy of the tool through a calculation 0.998. Abstract

Research about composite mechanical from natural fiber expecially bamboo is still seldom used. Therefore, this research is done with purpose to know effect of piece arrangement of bamboo toward composites mechanic that include maximum tension value and elasticity  value. The research is experiment reseach. Piece of bamboo is arranged three variaties, are longer, across and plait. From three arrangement are counted tension value and elasticity to know mechanical characteristic. The results of this study: highest voltage value is 78.173 MPa in longer piece, tension value part of plait is shorter than longer piece 44.538 MPa and tension value of across fiber is shorter than embroidery piece 18.936 MPa. Result of measurement results to elasticity value in power curve the highest is 150.15 GPa in longer fiber, plait fiber is shorter than long fiber about 86.26 GPa and across fiber is shorter than plait about 50.209 GPa Keywords: bamboo, mechanical properties, composite, reinforcement, polyester

Abstract

Abstact-The purpose of this reseach was to make measurement system of the sunshine duration based on microcontroller ATMEGA8535 which used LDR sensor. This system was expected to measure light intensity and sunshine duration with good performance and design specifications. The collection of data was done directly and indirectly measurement. Direct measurements were done to get output voltage, light intensity and sunshine duration. Indirect measurements were done to get accuracy and precision of system. Performance specifications of this system were built by power supply, LDR sensor, voltage divider circuit, microcontroller ATMEGA8535, and LCD. While design specification consist of five result. First, output voltage was logaritmic of light intensity. Second, on the first day there were three intervals duration of sunshine with a total sunshine duration was 184 minutes, while on the second day there were three interval duration of sunshine with a total sunshine duration was 440 minutes. Third, the accuracy measuring of the light intensities was 97.145%. Fourth, the precision measuring of the light intensities was 0.965. Fifth, the accuration measuring of the sunshine duration was 93.64%. Keyword: System, Sensor, LDR, Sunshine Duration, Microcontroller

Abstract

Magnetic properties of Guano can be seen from the concentration of magnetic minerals, grain size, domain type and type of magnetic minerals. From the magnetic susceptibility measurements was found that there is concentration of magnetic minerals in the guano. This research will be studied about grain size and type of magnetic domains from Rantai and Solek Cave, Lareh Sago Halaban Subdistrict, 50 Kota District. Grain size and type of magnetic domains can be identified by matching the decay curve of Anhysteretic remanent Magnetization (ARM) of sample with Lowrie-Fuller Test standard curve and King's Plot. The instrument used in this research are Molspin AF Demagnetizer and Minispin Magnetometer. The determination results of grain size and type of magnetic domain Rantai Cave have variation with the range between <0.1 μm - >135 μm with type of  domain magnetic is single domain (SD), pseudo single domain (PSD) and multi domain (MD). Guano samples of Solek Cave having grain sizes of magnetic between 2 μm-135 μm where magnetic domains are pseudo single domain (PSD) and multi domain (MD).
