Abstract

Good and correct tooth brushing behavior is done diligently and earnestly, carefully means toothbrush is done on the entire surface of the tooth and regularly, done at least twice a day. The purpose of this study is to know the description of the Behavior of Brushing and Dental caries on Sekaa Teruna Teruni Widya Dharma on Village Tunjuk Tengah District Tabanan Regency 2019. This research is a descriptive study using total population of 50 Sekaa Teruna Teruni Widya Dharma. The results of this study showed that people with Sekaa Teruna Teruni who brushed their teeth with the criteria need guidance 72%, enough criteria 18%, good criterion 10%, there is no excellent criteria. Sekaa Teruna Teruni who had dental caries as much as 98%, the average dental caries ie 2.06 included in the low category. It can be concluded that the majority of Sekaa Teruna Teruni behave in tooth brushing with criteria that need guidance. Sekaa Teruna Teruni who suffered from dental caries as much as 98% and the average dental caries of Sekaa Teruna Teruni Widya Dharma was still in the low category.

Abstract

Oral health is a fundamental part of overall health. The degree of health of a person or community is influenced by four factors, namely: environment, behavior, heredity, and health services. Plaque plays a role in the pathogenicity of caries and periodontal disease. The purpose of cleaning teeth is to remove plaque. Tooth brushing behavior is good and right that is done diligently, thoroughly and regularly. The results of the study by Pande Putu Nanda Pradipta concluded that there were no grade IV and V grade students at SD Negeri 6 Dlodpangkung, Sukawati who behaved brushing their teeth with both good and very good criteria. The level of dental and oral hygiene in grade IV and V students of SD Negeri 6 Dlodpangkung, Sukawati was classified as poor criteria. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between tooth brushing behavior and the level of dental and oral hygiene in grade IV and V SDN 6 Dlodpangkung Sukawati students in 2017. This type of cross sectional study, uses secondary data from Pande Putu Nanda Pradipta's research. Spearmen correlation test results obtained sig .: 0,000. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a relationship between tooth brushing behavior and the level of dental and oral hygiene in grade IV and V students of SDN 6 Dlodpangkung Sukawati in 2017.

Abstract

Oral health status is also influenced by the interaction of four factors, namely behavior, environment, health services, and genetics. Developing countries like Indonesia, behavior is the most dominant factor in influencing the oral health status. Health behavior is divided into three, namely knowledge, attitudes, and actions. Knowledge is a very important domain for the formation of one's actions. Dental and oral health care is often ignored by adolescents. Conclusions Kadek Adi Tresna Yasa's research results, namely the level of knowledge about dental and oral hygiene of Grade VII students of Middle N 3 Selemadeg Timur Tabanan Regency 2018 sufficient criteria. While dental and oral hygiene with moderate criteria. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge about dental and oral hygiene with dental and oral hygiene of Grade VII students of SMPN 3 Selemadeg Timur Tabanan Regency in 2018. This type of cross sectional study, uses secondary data from Kadek Adi Tresna Yasa's research. Spearmen correlation test results obtained sig .: 0.717. Conclusion there is no relationship between knowledge about dental and mouth hygiene with dental and mouth hygiene of Grade VII students of SMPN 3 Selemadeg Timur Tabanan Regency in 2018

Abstract

Knowledge is the result of "knowing" and this happens after someone senses a certain object. Dental health efforts need to be reviewed from the aspects of environment, knowledge, education, awareness and treatment of dental health including prevention and care. Conclusions of the study Windha Hasiva Yudita, inmates in the class IIB of the Gianyar Rutan in 2018 had a sufficient level of knowledge on how to maintain healthy oral and dental criteria. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of tooth brushing and the availability of tooth brushing equipment for inmates in Class IIB of the Gianyar Detention Center in 2018. This type of cross sectional study, uses secondary data from Windha Hasiva Yudita's research. The correlation test results obtained sig .: 0,000. Conclusions of the study variable Level of Knowledge about How to Maintain Dental and Oral Health related to the Availability of Tools.

Abstract

About 90% of Indonesian children suffer from caries. School-age children are one group that is vulnerable to caries. Some things that have a close relationship with dental caries, both directly and indirectly include: oral hygiene, habit of consuming cariogenic food, depth of dental fissure, degree of acidity (pH) of saliva, and regularity of brushing teeth. Ni Luh Putu Sita Indra Dewi's research concluded that 65.78% of SD Negeri 1 Dawan Kaler students in Klungkung Regency in 2017 usually eat sweets every day. Most of the teeth affected by caries is 76.32%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between candy eating behavior and caries in students at SDN 1 Dawan Kaler Klungkung Regency in 2017. This type of cross sectional study, uses secondary data from Ni Luh Putu Sita Indra Dewi research. The correlation test results obtained sig .: 0.108. Conclusion there is no relationship between the behavior of eating candy with caries in students at SDN 1 Dawan Kaler Klungkung Regency in 2017.

Abstract

HL Blum states that, the degree of health of a person or community is influenced by four factors, namely: environment, behavior, heredity, and health services. According to Laurence Green there are three factors that influence one's behavior, namely predisposing factors, supporting factors, and reinforcing factors. The biggest problem faced by the Indonesian population as well as in other developing countries in the field of dental and oral health is the disease of hard tooth tissue (caries dentis) besides gum disease. Ni Kadek Enyk Parmita Dewi's research concluded that, most students behave to brush their teeth with the criteria need guidance. The frequency of fifth grade students suffering from caries in permanent first molars was 24 people (54.55%). The average caries of permanent first molars was 0.82. The purpose of this study was to determine the behavior of tooth brushing with dental caries in class V students at SDN 4 Pendem Jembrana in 2018. This type of cross sectional study, uses secondary data from Ni Kadek Enyk Parmita Dewi's research. Spearmen correlation test results between dental caries variables with tooth brushing behavior obtained sig values. 0.015. Conclusion there is a relationship between the variables of tooth brushing behavior with dental caries in fifth grade students at SDN 4 Pendem Jembrana in 2018.
