Abstract

Backround: Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD) is placing the baby on his stomach on the mother's chest or abdomen at least one hour immediately after birth. In IMD practice, this skin contact will make the milk come out quickly because more oxytocin is released in the mother's bloodstream. Early Breastfeeding Initiation carried out early provides great benefits in smooth breastfeeding in the first days of the baby's birth, the process of exclusive breastfeeding and can meet the needs of babies up to two years. Objective: To see the description of early breastfeeding initiation in postpartum mothers at the Pupuk Kaltim Hospital, Bontang Method: The purpose of this study was to see the description of early breastfeeding initiation in postpartum mothers at the Pupuk Kaltim Hospital. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all mothers who gave birth at the Pupuk Kaltim Hospital, Bontang City from April to June, namely 117 people. This study used purposive sampling, with the sampling criteria were mothers who gave birth within a period of 2 months starting from April 1 to June 30, 2021, namely 30 people. Results: Based on the results of the study, it was found that of the 30 postpartum mothers, almost all of them did early initiation of breastfeeding correctly, namely 23 people (76.7%) and a small portion did not correctly initiate early breastfeeding, namely as many as 7 people (23.3%). Conclusion: Based on the results of the research and discussion in the previous chapter, it was concluded that most postpartum mothers had performed IMD correctly.

Abstract

Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) has offered a strategy to overcome the problems caused by smoking, namely with six MPOWER "Cost-Effective" policy intervention packages to control cigarette consumption, The Regional Government is obliged to establish a smoke-free area in its territory. The Non-Smoking Zone is the responsibility of all components of the nation, both individuals, communities, parliaments and governments to protect current and future generations. Objective:The object of this research is the Indonesian Polytechnic campus by involving students and campus administrators Method : This research method is qualitative with purposive sampling design with a total sample of 5 informants Result : The results of this study obtained 5 informants on the variables of communication, resources, and dispositions that have been running but on the variables of the bureaucratic structure it has not been effective because it is still in the adjustment stage for KTR socialization. Conclusion : Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the implementation of KTR at the Indonesian Polytechnic has not run optimally and in accordance with existing procedures, there are obstacles and obstacles both externally and internally on campus so that it has not been able to run ideally.

Abstract

Background: Radiographers have duties and responsibilities related to radiation, so one must receive protection for occupational health and safety before starting work, while working or after finishing work, considering that a radiation worker's job is related to X-rays that have characteristics can cause deterministic effects (tissue damage) and genetics. Objective: This study aims to find out in-depth information about the radiation safety management system for employees at the radiology installation at dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital. Method: This study uses a qualitative method. The informants of this study were the head of the room and 2 radiation protection officers, a total of 3 people. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Results: The results showed that radiation protection staff at the radiology installation of dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital has attended radiation protection training organized by BAPETEN (Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency), has a certificate and SIB (Work Permit), Initial and periodic health checks have been carried out, Radiation protection equipment owned in radiology installations is still inadequate and 5 the apron has a leak. Conclusion: It is hoped that the hospital management needs to ensure the implementation of a radiation safety management system at the radiology installation of dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital, so that radiology employees have a sense of security and can work professionally.

Abstract

Background: The injectable method makes sex activities a dilemma in their use. This is because the long use of injectable contraceptives, which is more than 1 year, results in the accumulation of the hormone progesterone in the body so that the hormone estrogen is suppressed. This decrease in the hormone estrogen will affect the exit of the hormone testosterone. Whereas this hormone as a trigger for sexual arousal or libido. Objective: to analyze in depth regarding the impact of the use of hormonal (injectable) birth control on couple women of childbearing age. Method: this study uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis with primary data collection techniques through indepth interviews. Results: The results of this study show that couples of childbearing age who use Hormonal birth control (injectable) there are some who experience libido disorders. However, among the acceptors who use hormonal birth control, both DMPA and cyclophemes that have more effect on decreasing libido function are DMPA injectable KB acceptors because they experience serious problems that require more treatment. Conclusion: that users of injectable birth control, both DMPA and cyclofem, both experience libido disorders.

Abstract

Backgrounds: Menarche is the first bleeding from the uterus that occurs in a woman. Menarche is caused by several factors including nutritional status, ethnicity, genetics, social, economic, etc. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between diet, food intake, nutritional status and exposure to social media with the age of menarche in adolescent girls at SMPN 1 Kolaka in 2021. Method: The type of research used is a cross sectional research design and the sample taken is 136 respondents and the sample is taken by stratified proportional random sampling. Statistical analysis used in this study is the chi square test. The research results are said to be related if the results of the statistical test p value <0.05. Result: The results showed that on average the respondents had an early menarche age of 55.1%. Most of the respondents have a good diet and intake of food as much as 86.8%. As many as 80.9% of respondents have normal nutritional status and as many as 72.1% of respondents have been exposed to social media. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the variables between diet, food intake, nutritional status and exposure to social media with age at menarche of respondents have a significant relationship.
