<![CDATA[ABSTRACT This study was conducted to analyze the effect of government spending on economic growth in Ketapang during the period 2007 - 2011. The method used was qualitative and quantitative research methods. In qualitative analysis is based on descriptive analysis model aimed to describe the development of each group sector development expenditures and routine expenses undertaken by the Government of Ketapang. While quantitatively to analyze the influence of local government spending on economic growth sector groups (GDP). Â The results of this study indicate that the influence of local government development expenditure groups primary sector, trade and transport, education and culture, apparatus and control positive effect on economic growth. Government spending primary sector groups, trade and transport, education and culture, health and social welfare effect in reducing income inequality among the population, while the economic growth exacerbates income inequality among the population. The local government development expenditure in Ketapang positive and significant effect on economic growth and income distribution. However, not all sectors of development expenditure groups can influence economic growth and equitable distribution of income, the local government in the allocation of development funds in order to more effectively and efficiently by formulating appropriate policies in order to build the infrastructure to support the local economy. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT  By increasing the local revenue, the economic activity in West Kalimantan will rises and so does the economic growth. It’ll also have the same impact on capital expenditure. it’s important to analyze the market development of the local revenue in West Kalimantan so we will know how the local revenue impact on the economic growth. There’s positif significant relation from capital expenditure and non linear general allocation fund to economic growth in West Kalimantan. On the other hand, the local revenue has the negative impact. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT The economic growth mirrors the economic activities in a country or government. It can be of positive or negative values. If in one economic period, the economy experiences positive growth, it means that there is an increase in the economic activities. On the contrary, if it shows negative growth, there is a decrease in the economic activities. During the period of 1996-2010, the economic growth of Ketapang is very fluctuative. . The regional economic growth can be influenced by various factors, among other things the foreign investment, the domestic investment, and the number of workforce employed. This reseach is conducted to know the influences of the foreign investment, the domestic invenstment , and the number of the workforces employed on the economic growth. The Data collected in this research are based on the secondary data. In this research, the method used is OLS (Ordinary Least Square). The findings of this research have shown that the foreign investment, the domestic investment, and the number of the workforces employed have the insignificant influence on the economic growth partially or simulteneously. . <![CDATA[ABSTRACT  The research is a descriptive study intended to get an answer that how much realization influence of the banking loans that is investments loans, working capital loans, consumer loans on the level of economic growth in the province of West Kalimantan either partially or simultaneously and independent of all the variables are studied, which is the most dominant variable in affecting the rate of economic growth and after researched using SPSS (Statistical Package for Software social Sciense) ver. 17.0, it can be concluded that : In Partial variables of investment loans, working capital loans and investments significantly affect toward economic growth in the province of West Kalimantan and for working capital loans has the most dominant influence with coefficient of 16.8 % , investment loans coeffecient of 9.8 % and consumption loans coffecient of 9.1 %. Together (simultaneously) these variables also affect the economic growth , with a significant 0.000< α = 0.05 ( visible ) in Table 4.8. besides that ​​in Table 4.7 known adjustment values r square of 975, or 97.5 %, this proves that economic growth of West Kalimantan Province was heavily influenced by those credit variables. Banks in West Kalimantan and the relevant government in the future to do synergize strategic to push and deceptive loans in the UMKM sector (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) productively , especially in the province of West Kalimantan. . <![CDATA[ABSTRACT This  study  aims to identify and analyze  the influence of local revenue    (PAD ) and the General Allocation Fund ( DAU ) to economic growth in Ketapang . This study uses secondary data (time series) from 2000 until 2012 . The method of analysis used in this study is a quantitative method , with regression testing to test the classical assumption before getting the best research model . The variables in this study is the revenue ( PAD ) , the General Allocation Fund ( DAU ) as the independent variable and Economic Growth as the dependent variable . The population in this study is a sample of Ketapang in researchobject. Results of this study demonstrate that simultaneous Revenue and General Allocation Fund had no significant effect on economic growth in Ketapang this can be explained in the R square of 10.58 % variable economic growth can be explained by the independent variables exist that PAD and DAU no effect on economic growth . While the remaining 80.42 % is influenced by other variables that are not explained by the model of this study . Partial variable revenue ( PAD ) had no significant effect on economic growth , as well as variable General Allocation Fund ( DAU ) had no significant effect on economic growth in Ketapang . Thus the district / city government General Allocation Fund as a result of the fiscal equalization tool fiscal gap , which needs DAU an area determined by the needs of the region ( fiscal needs) and potential areas ( fiscal capacity) that determine the composition of the fulfillment of economic growth, especially in Ketapang . <![CDATA[ABSTRACT Economic growth of region is one of the indicated that can be used to see how the implementation of a regional development of various economic sectors, which directly describe the rate of economic growth. Changes in governance systems provide a significant influence in the management of regional development. Patterns of regional development and planning system which previously tended top down has turned into more varied depend on the potential and the fundamental problems faced in the region. This condition push competition among regions to promote economic growth and welfare. As a consequence of the limited resources, the implementation of development should be focused on the development sectors that give multiplier effect greatly to other sectors or the economy as whole. This study aims to determine the basic sector, sector classification and shift share analysis in Ketapang as information and considerations in planning economic development. This study uses secondary data by the time series of Gross Regional Domestic Product Ketapang District and West Kalimantan Province in 2007 2011. The tools used in research is Klassen Tipology Analysis, Location Quotient (LQ) Analysis and Shift Share Analysis. The result of Klassen Tipology Analysis indicate the sector which can growing rapidly advanced are the agricultural sectors, mining sectors and processing industry sectors. Location Quotient Analysis show agricultural sector, mining sector, and the sector of processing industry is a basic sector in the Ketapang District. Shift Share Analysis indicate that the competitive are processing industry sektor, power, gas and water supply sector and trade, hotel and restaurant sector. The result on the basic sector, based on the three tools of analysis shows that the sector as a basic sector, with criteria belong to the advanced sector and rapidly growing and competitive is the processing industry sector, in particular sub-sectors of food processing, beverages and tobacco. This sub-sector is potential sub-sector to be developed as the leading sector in Ketapang Distric. Keyword: Basic Sector, Klassen Tipology, Location Quotient and Shift Share.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTRegional autonomy has been carried out giving a greater role to the Government and localeconomic actors in managing development in the area. Through decentralization, localgovernments have the authority to explore the role of the allocation of income and performindependently in setting development priorities .Revenue ( PAD ) is an important benchmark for determining the level of local capacity inimplementing real autonomy and responsibility .This study aims to determine how much influence the government expenditure and GDPaffect local revenues in Ketapang . The independent variables consist of : GovernmentSpending and GDP while the dependent variable is the original income . The analyticalmethod used was linear regression analysis . Government Spending result is not significantpositive effect on local revenues , and GDP is significantly positively affect local revenue (PAD ) . <![CDATA[ABSTRACT  Thesis titled “Analysis of Potential Loss Perolehan Hak Atas Tanah dan Bangunan (BPHTB) in Sungai Raya Distric of Kubu Raya Regency†is a very important academic research. Data of tax income in Kubu Raya regency in 2011-2013 shown that the BPHTB income about 60% of total of tax income. However, there is no study conducted to know whether the BPHTB is optimal.  The analysis of potensial loss of BPHTB is conducted in Sungai Raya Subdistrict, Kubu Raya Regency. This study is conducted based on empirical data collected via observation and the data collected at government agency specially Dinas Pendapatan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kubu Raya Regency.  The objective of this study to reveal the potential loss of BPHTB income in Sungai Raya Subdistrict and to develop strategies that should be done by Kubu Raya Regency to optimise the BPHTB income as the regional income.  The method adopted in this thesis is “Descriptive Analysis†by using secondary and primary data. The BPHTB income that be collceted by Dinas Pendapatan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kubu Raya Regency is compared with potential income of BPHTB specially at Subdistrict Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency, thus the level of potential loss could be determined. The cause of income potential loss is revealed by observation. The strategies to increase the BPHTB income is developed using SWOT Analysis and SWOT Matrix.  The results show that BPHTB income at Sungai Raya Subdistrict, Kubu Raya Regency has potential loss. The strategy that should be done to increase the original regional income from tax sector specially BPHTB are strength-opportunity strategy: using the decentralised income policy based on Central or Regional Regulation and also by utilized the opportunity to increase the regional income specially BPHTB. The strategies include: (1) to re-new Nilai Jual Objek Pajak (NJOP) Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan Pedesaan dan Perkotaan (PBB-P2) as a basis of minimum value of BPHTB; (2) approach and cooperate related agencies; (3) conduct tax campaign; (4) improve skill of the tax staff; (5) improve the organization structure that more focus on the tax service; (6) improve the attention of regency government by giving reward the good tax payer that pay the tax on time. ]]>
