Abstract

This research aims to: (1) describe the implementation of learning mathematics with application of cooperative learning model of NHT type in improving problem-solving abilities of fifth grade students at SDN Perumnas 02; and (2) describe the mathematical problem solving abilities increase abilities of fifth grade students at SDN Perumnas 02 with the implementation of cooperative learning model of NHT type in learning Mathematics. The method used is classroom action research Kemmis and Mc. Taggart models conducted in two cycles with qualitative and quantitative research approaches. Results from this study are: (1) the implementation of learning mathematics with application of cooperative learning model of NHT type of cycle I to cycle II of fifth grade students at SDN Perumnas 02, the better. Headband as numbering media to motivate students to learn. Giving the problem at this stage of questioning which is designed in the form of worksheets and given to each student develop a sense of personal responsibility so that when heads together students discuss with the group in solving problems. External motivation given teacher support internal motivation is able to create and enable the whole group to discuss; and (2) Application of cooperative learning model of NHT type can improve mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Implementation of In House Training Programs in IncreasingPedagogical Competence Teacher of Early Childhood Education. Thisresearch was conducted with reference to the Permendiknas 16 , 2007 which describes the Academic Competence and Qualification of Teachers of early childhood education , particularly in the pedagogical competence. Thepurpose of this research is to see the profile of pedagogical competence ofteachers in early childhood Bee School and Early Childhood Grow Education through the implementation of In House Training program. The author uses collaborative approach. Sources of data in this research consisted of teachers in early childhood Bee School and Early Childhood Grow Education. Collecting data in this research using written tests, observation and documentation. Data analysis was performed by collecting field data based on the test results, observation and documentation. Findings from the research include: pedagogical competencies of teachers that includes the aspects of teachers' understanding of the development and characteristics of children, learning theories and learning principles, planning and implementation of learning, and assessment processes and learning outcomes.Penerapan Program In House Training dalam MeningkatkanKompetensi Pedagogik Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Penelitian inidilakukan dengan merujuk pada Permendiknas No.16 Tahun 2007 yangmenjelaskan tentang Kompetensi Akademik dan Kualifikasi Guru PAUD,khususnya dalam kompetensi pedagogik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalahuntuk melihat profil kompetensi pedagogik guru di PAUD Bee School danPAUD Grow Education melalui penerapan program In House Training.Penulis menggunakan pendekatan kolaboratif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari guru di PAUD Bee School dan PAUD Grow Education. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes tertulis, pedoman observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan denganmengumpulkan data dilapangan yang berdasarkan pada hasil tes, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Temuan hasil penelitian ini meliputi: Kompetensi pedagogik guru yang mencakup pada aspek pemahaman guru terhadap perkembangan dan karakteristik anak, teori-teori belajar dan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran, perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, serta penilaian proses dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

This study attempts to: (1) develop media tutorials in making of primary school animated learning use application Microsoft power point, (2) know feasibility media tutorials in making of primary school animated learning use application Microsoft power point. This is a Research and Development Research (R D), which are generally trough four stages, namely: study introduction, design development, product development, and product evaluation. Data collection was in the form of sheets of material validation, media experts and users to know the feasibility of video tutorial media. The product of the development is in the form of video tutorials media that can be stored in compact disk (CD). The research results show as follows: (1) media tutorial video developed was for teaching the ability for the production of simple animation in primary school learning, (2) evaluation results of material experts obtains a judgment 3.7 (good category) by inference worth to be used, (3) evaluation of media experts obtains a judgment 4.1 (god category) by inference worth to be used, (4) evaluation results by users get average 4.3 (very good category) by inference worth to be used.

Abstract

Snacks are one type of food that is often consumed by school children. Given the important role of snacks for children, this research was conducted with the aim of knowing the relationship between choosing healthy snacks in developing healthy lifestyle behaviors in fourth grade elementary school students. The method used in this research is descriptive research. The population and research sample were all fourth grade students at SDN Talun in the 2021 academic year. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire test sheet. Student test results are processed using the rank correlation test. Based on the results of data analysis using the rank correlation test, the value of p = 0.27, which is greater than 0.05. Thus Ho is accepted, this means that there is no relationship between knowledge about street food and children's behavior in choosing food.

Abstract

Increase Emotional Intelligence in Early Childhood throughTraditional Games "Kaulinan Barudak" in kindergarten. Emotionalintelligence is a determinant of individual success. Yet, individual emotionalintelligence is now fading. The assumption is believed to be a decline in thevalue of education. Early childhood as the basis for the development ofindividual potential. So, the urgency of action needs to be special. This study focused on improving emotional intelligence early childhood throughtraditional games “kaulinan barudak”. This study conducted in StateKindergarten Pembina Tasikmalaya City and Kindergarten Nurul ‘IlmiTasikmalaya City through a quasi-experimental design. Results of this study, there is a significant difference between the increase in emotional intelligence children aged 5-6 years in state kindergarten Pembina Tasikmalaya City with increase in emotional intelligence children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Nurul ‘Ilmi Tasikmalaya City with a confidence level of 95%. Meningkatkan Kecerdasan Emosional Anak Usia Dini melaluiPermainan Tradisional “Kaulinan Barudak” di Taman Kanak-kanak.Kecerdasan emosional merupakan penentu kesuksesan individu. Namun,kecerdasan emosional individu saat ini semakin memudar. AUD merupakanlandasan perkembangan potensi dan kecerdasan individu. Sehingga, urgensi tersebut perlu dilakukan tindakan khusus. Fokus penelitian ini meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional anak usia dini melalui permainan tradisional “kaulinan barudak”. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Negeri Pembina dan TK Nurul ‘Ilmi Kota Tasikmalaya melalui desain eksperimen quasi. Hasil penelitian, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara peningkatan kecerdasan emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina Kota Tasikmalaya dengan peningkatan kecerdasan emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Nurul ‘Ilmi Kota Tasikmalaya dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kompetensi Sosial Kepala Sekolah dalam Pembentukan Citra Positif di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sukamaju Kecamatan Jatinunggal Kabupaten Sumedang provinsi Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat pada masyarakat khususnya pihak Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sukamaju Kecamatan Jatinunggal sebagai penambah wawasan pengetahuan dalam hal kompetensi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan citra positif di lembaga pendidikan atau sekolah, sebagai bahan masukan tentang pentingnya peningkatan citra positif bagi setiap sekolah sehingga segala hal dalam meningkatkan citra positif dapat berjalan secara efektif dan efisien serta memperoleh kepercayaan dari masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sukamaju Kecamatan Jatinunggal Kabupaten Sumedang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dimana pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mewawancarai beberapa narasumber diantaranya: Kepala Sekolah, Guru, Siswa, Komite Sekolah, masyarakat sekitar sekolah dan orang tua wali murid di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sukamaju. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi Sosial Kepala Sekolah dalam Pembentukan Citra Positif sudah baik, yaitu kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan citra positif dengan menjalin hubungan yang baik antara pihak internal dan eksternal sekolah melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan-kegiatan di sekolah baik untuk pihak internal maupun eksternal sekolah yang rutin diadakan setiap tahunnya. This study aims to determine the Principal's Social Competence in Forming a Positive Image in SDN Sukamaju, Jatinunggal District, Sumedang Regency, West Java Province. The results of this study are expected to provide benefits to the community, especially theSDB Sukamaju, Jatinunggal District, as an enhancer of knowledge in terms of the competency of school principals in enhancing a positive image in educational institutions or schools, as input for the importance of increasing a positive image for each school so that everything in enhancing a positive image can run effectively and efficiently and gain the trust of the community. This research was conducted at Sukamaju Public Elementary School, Jatinunggal District, Sumedang Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method where data collection uses interview, observation and document study techniques. In this study, the authors interviewed several speakers including: Principals, Teachers, Students, School Committees, communities around the school and parents of parents in Sukamaju State Elementary School. The results showed that the Principal's Social Competence in Forming Positive Images was good, namely the principal in enhancing the positive image by establishing a good relationship between internal and external parties of the school through the implementation of activities in the school both for internal and external parties of the school which is routinely held every year.

Abstract

Dance art is a work of art that contains a cultural encyclopedia. Traditional dance in Indonesia is a representation of multicultural Indonesian society, because traditional dance represents philosophical messages, both in the spiritual, moral and social aspects of the supporting community. This article examines how dance education has benefits for multicultural education for elementary school children. The aim is to explain the meaning of cultural diversity as something that is beneficial for the lives of local, national and global communities. Through dance education in elementary schools, students can be creative and appreciate the art of Indonesian dance. So it is expected that elementary students will know the treasures of their own nation's dance, as well as learn about the cultural differences between regions. Thus, they will become individuals who are able to respect differences and diversity, and accept the reality of the plurality of cultures that exist in Indonesia

Abstract

Thebackground of this study was the low of student’s reading comprehensionskill when answering questions, as well as retelling and summarizing thecontent of a text. This study was to improve the student’s readingcomprehension skill through QAR strategy as well as the teacher’sperformance. The research methodology used in this study is ClassroomActions Research which conducted in three cycles. The result of this studyshows that the average score of reading comprehension has increased. Theaverage score was increased from 57 to 70,20 in the cycle I, going up to 75,17in cycle II, and become 84,83 in cycle III. The application of QAR strategywith direct instruction from the teacher gives a positive effect, specifically, thestudents are active to do the pre-reading, reading and post-reading as well asmotivated to think hard by responding to the questions used in the QARstrategy. Thereby, the elementary school teachers are suggested to use theQAR strategy as one of the solutions in improving reading comprehensionskill.

Abstract

Decreasing attitudes and character of children today such as promiscuity, inappropriate clothing styles, and loss of manners. The current condition of the nation's children is like losing their identity, therefore we need a character education in education. Character education is important in education. The purpose of character education is to shape and create human beings who have good morals, traits, behavior and character. If a nation has citizens with good character and quality, that nation will become a great nation and also be respected by other nations. This character education must also be supported by several parties including schools, the community and most importantly the family. Because the family is the first guide, teacher, and example for their children and also has the biggest role in this character education. Therefore, the family must provide a reflection of good attitudes, behavior and character towards children.

Abstract

Influence of the Method of Traditional Games against ImprovedCharacters Children and Social Skills in the Learning IPS. This studydeparting from the problems that arise because of the many cases broughtabout by digital games, such as student brawls, violence, and criminal cases. It shows that the character and social skills of children have not built up well. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference in improved of character and social skills of children using methods of traditional games with using conventional methods. The study method used is quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there are significant differences in improvement of character and social skills of children who use the methods of traditional games with children using conventional methods. Improved character and social skills class experiments using traditional games better than using conventional methods. This is because the traditional methods of game can affect the child's character and social skills. Pengaruh Penggunaan Metode Permainan Tradisional terhadapPeningkatan Karakter Anak dan Keterampilan Sosial pada PembelajaranIPS. Penelitian ini beranjak dari masalah yang timbul karena banyaknya kasus yang ditimbulkan oleh games digital, seperti tawuran pelajar, kekerasan, dan kasus kriminal. Hal itu menunjukan bahwa karakter dan keterampilan sosial anak belum terbina dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan karakter anak dan keterampilan sosial yang menggunakan metode permainan tradisional dengan yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan karakter dan keterampilan sosial anak yang menggunakan metode permainan tradisional dengan anak yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Peningkatan karakter dan keterampilan sosial kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode permainan tradisional lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Hal ini karena metode permainan tradisional dapat berpengaruh terhadap karakter dan keterampilan sosial anak.
