Abstract

The implementation of the maternal and childh health program cannot be separated from recording and reporting as documentation and evaluation of all activities that have been carried out. The implementation of the KIA program starts from maternity huts, sub-health centers, private service facilities which are finally collected from monthly monitoring reports on maternal and child health areas. In fact, the Central Statistics Agency has not carried out data reporting properly, namely the Central Statistics Agency does not report maternal and childh health program service data, reports are not timely and reporting reports are incomplete. The purpose of this research is as an effort to improve puskesmas through planning, implementing, monitoring, controlling and assessing so that it can provide quality, relevant and valid information. Observational research using survey method with cross sectional approach. The independent variable studied is workload and the dependent variable is the performance of reporting data on maternal and childh health program services. The sampling technique was proportional random sampling at 35 Puskesmas to determine the number of samples in each strata/region and simple random sampling to determine the sample in each selected area. Data processing using the stages of editing, coding, entry, and tabulating. Analysis of the data used is univariate analysis with frequency and percentage distributions and bivariate analysis with statistical tests using Spearman's Rank Correlation test. Based on the results of statistical tests using Spearman's Rank Correlation, p value = 0.001 (p 0.05). This shows that there is a significant relationship between workload and reporting performance of maternal and childh health program a service data. The Efforts of the Health Office and Puskesmas to provide rewards for the performance of officers in recording and reporting of maternal and childh health program data, so that help make the KIA program a success. The implementation of the Maternal and Child Health program cannot be separated from recording and reporting as documentation and evalution of all activities that have been carried out

Abstract

High risks in pregnancy can caused by uncontrolled increasing body weight in pregnancy. It can affect on maternal or fetal. Risk on maternal such as pre eclampsia, gestational diabetes and increase of labor with section secarea. Risks on fetal are risiko macrosomia, obesity in baby, preterm baby or delivery less than 37 weeks of pregnancy. A retrospective study was conducted among 132 pregnant women with pre eclampsia in dr. Zainal Abidin Banda Aceh hospital on August 2021. Data collected using checklist. In the analysis of the data, Chi Square analysis was used. The result found that 97 respondents ( 73,5 % ) are pregnant women with mild pre eclampsia. The body weight of 71 respondents (53,8 %)  increased  abnormally on pregnancy. 31 respondents from 71 respondents who had increase their body weight were severe pre eclampsia pregnants women. There were significant correlation between increasing body weight and pre eclampsia in  dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh hospital. Suggestion of the the research is midwife can give counseling about normal limit of body weight gain in the pregnancy dan pre eclampsia in pregnancy

Abstract

Perineal rupture cases in Indonesian occur in women at the age of 25-30 years are 24%, while at the age of 32-39 are 62%. Perineal rupture can cause female organ dysfunction, bleeding, and infection. One way to prevent perineal rupture is to do perineal massage to increase blood flow and elasticity of the perineal. This study aims to analyze the effect of perineal massage on the incidence of spontaneous perineal rupture in primigravida normal deliveries. This research method uses a literature review by conducting searches on the PubMed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar databases. The literature used is written in English and Indonesian. The articles in this study were published in 2014-2018. The keywords used are Perineal Massage, Rupture Perineum, and Primigravida Normal Labor. From the 12 articles which had been obtained, 8 articles discuss the benefits of perineal massage to prevent perineal rupture, 1 article discusses the comparison of perineal massage with kegel exercise, 1 article discusses risk factors that can affect the occurrence of perineal rupture, 1 article discusses knowledge and the period of service of the midwife related to perineal massage and 1 article discusses perineal massage which does not provide benefits to perineal rupture but perineal massage is safe during delivery. Perineal massage can increase the elasticity of the perineal muscles, relax the perineal tissue, prevent perineal tears, facilitate the delivery process so that labor complications do not occur, and reduce maternal morbidity

Abstract

Labor pain can cause hyperventilation. This situation will stimulate an increase in catecholamines which can cause obstruction in the strength of uterine contractions such as uterine inertia. The condition can cause fetal distress and maternal death during childbirth. Monitoring and intervention of labor pain in the first stage, especially in the active phase is very important, because it determines whether a mother can undergo a normal delivery or must given an intervention because of severe pain. One of the distraction techniques that can be used is murottal Al-Qur'an. Distraction is an act of diverting the pain experienced by doing something else. One of them is listening to murottal Al-Qur'an. The purpose of the research is to describe the effect of murottal on reducing the level of maternal pain during the active phase of the first stage of labor in dr. Zainoel Abidin hospital. This research is a quantitative research, where the research design used is Quasi Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Postest. The population is all mothers who give birth during the Active phase of first stage totaling 30 people. In this study, before the intervention the average pain scale was 3.00 with standar deviation of 0.830. After the intervention the average pain scale was 1.67 with standar deviation of 0.547 with an average difference of 1.33. The result show that murrotal has significantly effect on reducing the level of maternal pain in the active phase of first stage at dr. Zainoel Abidin hospital with p-value 0.001. the conclusion is it was suggested to midwife apply murottal al-qur'an services to intrapartum patients to reduce labor pain levels.

Abstract

The first stage of labor includes a prolonged latent phase and a prolonged active phase. Long-term delivery always poses risks and complications for both the mother and the fetus in her womb and can be fatal if not treated properly. Based on data from Ketuwan Health Center from January 2020 to December 2020, there were 37 cases of prolonged first stage labor out of 159 cases of labor. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of prolonged first stage of labor at the Ketuwan Health Center, Blora Regency which included maternal age, education, parity, his and the weight of the fetus. This type of research is quantitative analytic with a case control research design, using a retrospective approach and using a proportional random sampling technique. The number of samples was 37 cases and 37 controls. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using the Odds Ratio test. The results showed that the factors associated with the incidence of prolonged first stageof labor were Age (p=0.403; OR=2.121), Education (p=0.627; OR=0.789), Parity (p=0.011; OR=3.544), Contraction (p= 0.000; OR=0.072), Fetal Weight (p=1,000; OR=1,000). The conclusion of this study is that the factors associated with the incidence of prolonged first stage labor include parity and his, while age), education, and fetal weight do not have a significant relationship with the incidence of prolonged first stage labor. The advice given is to establish a definite diagnosis and make the right decisions to reduce the risk to the mother and fetus
