Hospital Majapahit is published by Majapahit Health Polytechnic in Mojokerto on a regular basis (every 6 months) with the aim of disseminating information on research results, scientific articles to academics, students, practitioners and others who pay attention to research in the fields of public health, nursing and midwifery. Abstract

The rate occurance dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is estimated with 55 % of women childbearing age tormented with pain during menstruation. One of factors causes dysmenorrhea is psychological. One of them is stress. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of stress to occurance dysmenorrhea during menstruation in adolescent girls.This research used cross sectional study. The independent variable is the level of stress and the dependent variable is dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls. The population in this study is 46 respondents. The technique is probability sampling with simple random sampling. The data are collected with a questionnaire of stress scale and occurance dysmenorrhea. The data are processed by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. The results show that almost half of respondents who do not stress or normal consists of 18 respondents (39.1 % ) and the majority of respondents who experience dysmenorrhea amount 29 respondents ( 63.0 % ). Base on statistic test conclude that there is a correlation between the level of stress and dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls in Mamba'ul Ulum Madrasah Aliyah Awang-Awang Mojosari Mojokerto. The school should to give counseling teachers to provide guidance and counseling to the students in order to anticipate and overcome stress.

Abstract

Prevention of mother’s fatality and morbidity is the main reason for needed of family planning services. Many women, have difficulties in determining the type of contraception. To deciding which method will be used, influenced by personal factor one of them is age. From the data obtained. The most people usage of contraceptives is injection. The purpose from this research is to know the connection between age and selection of contraceptive in BPS Mrs. Nanik Suwati, S.ST Kauman Mojosari. This research is using cross sectional planning method with population of acceptors KB injection in BPS Mrs.Nanik Suwati,S.ST Kauman Mojosari in January-April 2014 amount 168 people. A lot of sample was obtained from acceptors KB injection in BPS Mrs. Nanik Suwati, S.ST Kauman Mojosari in the January- April 2014 amount 168 people. This research have been made in 20 May-20 June 2014 on the location of research in BPS Mrs. Nanik Suwati,S.ST Kauman Mojosari which take with non probability sampling technique total sampling, the data collection was using a checklist of secondary data and the data analyzed was using with uji Chi-Kuadrat. From the research result were obtained at most 20 – 30 years of age who choose to inject as many as 66 people a month (39,3 %). The data analyzed by using uji Chi Kuadrat, concluded so there is a relationship between age with the choice of contraceptive injection in BPS Mrs. Nanik Suwati,S.ST Kauman Mojosari. According with the research result be provided to improve the quality of service about choosing the contraceptive which accordance with the age.

Abstract

Installation of external fixation is the method of reduction and immobilization, for the handling of fractures. One of the impact of external fixation mounting is the change in self- concept. Self-concept according to Stuart (2005) consists of 5 components. Roy in his theory emphasizes the concept of adaptation in overcoming stressor. The study was conducted to explore the self-concept of the patient with the installation of an external fixation using Roy's adaptation model development. Research using phenomenological qualitative research design. The population was patients who received external fixation installation management (including Ilizarov) undergoing inpatient and outpatient care (control) in the RSO Prof. Dr. oeharso Surakarta. Total sampling technique was used and the participants get 7 people. The experiment was conducted 4 weeks. Instruments using interviews and fields notes that have been tested for validity and reliability. Processing and data analysis using methods of data interpretation (Speziale & Carpenter, 2003) and software NVivo 9.0.204.0. Research carried out by applying the principles of research ethics. Generated 14 themes, which is an indication of mounting external fixation, development theory, significant other theory, self- perception theory, additional traits, coping mechanisms, body image, ideal self, self-esteem, role performance, personal identity, nursing care services, expectations of participants, and the difficulties experienced by participants. Concluded a negative self-concept changes (adaptation ineffective) on all participants. Roy adaptation model development in the assessment of changes in self-concept in the installation of external fixation in the hospital, very appropriately to used.

Abstract

The birth and the presence are supposed to bring happiness to married couples. Most do not have adaption and psychological disorders, such as feeling sad, annoyed, tired, angry, and hopeless. The feeling that makes a reluctantly to mother to take care of their baby by the expert is called postpartum blues or commonly known as the baby blues. The purpose of this study is to determine the incidence of baby blues in primiparous mothers in RSUD Bangil Pasuruan months of 2014. Design of this study is a descriptive with case of approach the study variables are the incidence of baby blues in primiparous mothers. The population in this study are all of primiparous postpartum women 1 – 7 days in RSUD Bangil. The samples are 34 respondents taken with accidental sampling technique. The data source of this study is primary data collected with interview using instruments such as questionaires. The data are collected on May 16 to 22 2014. And are analyzed with using descriptive and the last presented in the form of a frequebcy distribution table. The result show most respondents of primiparous mother need screening again next 2 weeks later amount 21 respondents (61.8%). The most frequent symptoms that appear in women experience the baby blues almost always blame theirselves improperly when their bad condition, the mother are so sad when they cry, they sleep difficulty and sometimes like angry without proper reason. The maternal and family should really prepare their mental condition after delivery. For famililies, especially husband should always accompany their wife either before or during and after childbirth so that mothers feel comfortable and protected. The health workers should provide the delivery care to apply therapeutic communication about how to deal with labor so that the mothers and family can undergo the condition after birth.

Abstract

The fact that happens in Panti Werdha Mojopahit Mojokerto is the social problems, such as many people who live inside are often alone and rarely out with their friend and also they look uncomfortable living in panti werdha because they can’t adjust their selves in their environment of panti. The purpose of this study is to know the overview of self adaptation to elderly in Panti Werdha Mojopahit Mojokerto. Design of this study is descriptive with survey. The variabel of this study is self adaptation to elderly. The population of this study is all of elderly in Panti Werdha Mojopahit Mojokerto amount 37 elderly. The sampling taken with technique of total sampling amount 37 respondents. Data collected with questionnaire and processed by coding, editing, scoring and tabulating and presented in from of a frequency distribution table. Results of the study showed that most respondents have a negative self adaptation amount 22 respondents (59,5%) and a positive self adaptation amount 15 respondents (40.5%). The result analysis of overview self adaptation to elderly in Panti Werdha Mojopahit Mojokerto using a likert scale changed to score T. it will be positive the result of if score T is > 50 and it will be negative if the result of score T is < 50. The results of this study showed that the elderly who live in panti werha have the pressure from the internal environment and make uncomfortable between elderly inside and quarrel between them. So many elderly who haven’t yet adjust their personality and sosical adaptation are more increased the environment in Panti Werdha Mojopahit. Coaching and councelling are more increased make the elderly to undergo their life and be able to adapt well.

Abstract

Menopause is not a disease, and therefore does not require special care, but some of the symptoms associated with it can be solved not only with drugs. Thus, it would be better if these menopausal issues clearly known by every Indonesian woman.This type of research his descriptive, while the design of this study is to use observation altechniques. The variable in this study is the attitude of premenopausal woman facing physiological changes in menopause period. The population in this study was premenopau al women in BPS Ny Titik Rahmawati, S.ST Village Leminggir Kirkcaldy District of Mojokerto regency with a population of 109 people. overall sample is a 86 person sampling probability sampling with sampling techniques cluster random sampling.Physiological changes during the menopause was concluded that Premenopaus al women age 35-40 years had a negative attitude toward the physical changes of menopause, on average, respondents who had a negative attitude elementary school education were 36 respondents (41.9%) anddid notwork 33 respondents(38 ,4%). Health workers provide health promotion by way of counseling and counseling can improve the quality of health services, able to provide the right information, complete and accurate information about menopause, so it can change a negative attitude into a positive attitude.
