Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by students who had the difficulties in identifying intrinsic elements of fictional texts especially character, theme, setting, plot, and moral value. Research problem is how to improve the skill to identify the intrinsic elements of fictional text method using SAVI in SD 04 Sepahat. This research used descriptive method of the qualitative form. The procedures in this research was  Classroom Action Research (PTK) and four stages of planning, action, observation, and reflecting. Data source was from students and teachers. The data was obtained from the RPP, the learning process and the test results.The data collection techniques was observation, measurement, and documentary study. The data collection tool used in this research was observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technic in this research was descriptive comparative and critical analysis technic. The instruments were the study results and the observation sheet. The results showed the SAVI method can improve the skills of identifying intrinsic elements of fictional text and students’ attitude in learning. The increase can be seen from the result of the action I which was 71.60, the result of the Act II which was 81.60, and result of action III which was 86.80. Keywords: identify, short story, SAVI

Abstract

AbstractThis research background is based on the fact that education of reading still  low and provide direction and efforts which was done by teacher in implementation model cooperative integrated reading and composition of student class VII. Research use deskriptif method, with qualitative research approach and classroom action research design.The research subjects were students in class VII of Meliau Middle School 6 as many as 30 people. Data sources are obtained from students and teachers in the form of observation guidelines, written tests, and documentation.Implementation cooperative integrated reading and composition models successfully improve students' reading comprehension skills. The completeness of the group's average value in the first cycle is 73,4% and cycle second 87,3%, while the individual completeness in the first cycle is 77%, and cycle second 100%.  Keywords: Cooperative integrated reading and composition, understanding                    reading ability

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, aktivitas dan hasil menulis wacana narasi menggunakan teknik brainwriting. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 3 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru SMK Negeri 5 Singkawang Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 28 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa teknik brainwriting dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran khususnya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, aktivitas dan kemampuan menulis siswa. Hal itu terlihat dari data yang didapatkan yakni perencanaan siklus I sebesar 76,66% (baik), siklus II sebesar 83,33% (sangat baik), dan siklus III sebesar 86,66% (sangat baik). Pelaksanaan pada siklus I sebesar 61% (cukup baik), siklus II 77% (baik), dan siklus III 90% (sangat baik). Rata-rata hasil belajar juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 51,56, siklus 58,71, dan siklus III 75,22. Aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 27,21 pada siklus I, pada siklus II sebesar 28,25, dan pada siklus III sebesar 29,89. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Menulis Wacana Narasi, Teknik Brainwriting.

Abstract

AbstrakLanguage is one of the means of communication, through human language can interact (communicate) share experiences, learn from each other, and enhance intellectual abilities. In communication. The form of research used by researchers is qualitative, why? Because this research deals with qualitative characteristics. Abstract

Abstrak: Manusia tidak dapat menghindar dari membuat interpretasi (hermeneutika). Eksistensi manusia merupakan suatu proses penafsiran yang terus berlangsung dan interpretasi merupakan kegiatan paling dasar pikiran manusia. Interpretasi yang dilakukan terhadap teks, serta tanda-tanda yang dapat dipahami manusia. Semua wacana, apakah dokumen hukum, kitab suci, karya sastra, seni pada hakikatnya sama. Semua teks menggunakan bahasa sebagai media komunikasi. Kemampuan pembaca memahami (Verstehen) teks merupakan masalah pokok. Pemahaman adalah suatu rekonstruksi, bertolak dari ekspresi yang selesai diungkapkan  kembali ke suasana kejiwaan ekspresi itu diungkapkan. Teks yang dapat diinterpretasikan bukan hanya pada teks, tetapi dapat juga kepada setiap tindakkan manusia yang memiliki makna, yakni tindakan manusia yang disengaja untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Untuk mengkajian teks yang dipakai untuk berkomunikasi dapat menggunakan hermeneutik Friederich Scheiermacher dan hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur. Tiap pakar memberikan solusi langkah-langkah untuk mengkaji teks.                       Kata Kunci: Bahasa, Simbol, Hermeneutika

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the result of observation which states the lack of writing ability in writing aspect. This is due to several factors one of which is the lack of student interest in writing skills, making it difficult to pour ideas of students. The problem of this study is how the process of learning, activity and motivation of students, and the results of learning discovery learning in students of class VII F SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak?This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observation, and reflecting. The research method used is descriptive method, the research form is qualitative, the research procedure is classroom action research (PTK). Data were taken using test and non test instrument. The data collection tools used are the observation sheet, motivation questionnaire, and the learning result test.The results showed that the discovery learning method can improve the learning result of writing fable text on the students of class VII F SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. It was found that: (1) learning process of writing fable text using discovery learning method has increased. (2) activity and motivation of student in learning to write text of fable by using discovery learning method each cycle better. (3) learning outcomes are also increasing. This is seen in the average of each cycle, in cycle 1 average 73.96, cycle 2 increased to 85.68. (4) students' attitudes following learning improved greatly. Keywords: Writing skill, Text Fable, Discovery Learning Method.
