Abstract

Old age is a cycle of human life experienced and can not be avoided by anyone. The process of becoming elderly, both physically and psychologically, is generally characterized by a deterioration in the quality of life and the functions of the limbs. Mental disorders are closely related to sleep disorder or insomnia is anxiety, insomnia is a disorder of initiating or maintaining sleep.To determine the relationship of anxiety levels with the incidence of insomnia in the elderly at BPSTW Unit Budi Luhur Kasongan Bantul Yogyakarta.There is a relationship between anxiety level and the incidence of insomnia in the elderly BPSTW Unit Budi Luhur Kasongan Bantul Yogyakarta. This research is a quantitative research in the form of correlational with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all the elderly that were recorded in Budi Luhur Community Dwelling at Kasongan Street No.88, Kajen, Bangunjiwo, Kasihan, Bantul Yogyakarta. The sample in this study was 76 respondents with a sampling technique using purposive sampling hypothesis using the Kendall-Tau. Based on the results of the study showed the level of anxiety in the medium category of 24 respondents (31.6%), and the incidence of insomnia in the elderly in the moderate category of 35 responden (46.1%),from the results of the controltest or the results obtained p-value 0.012 with result p-alpha = 0,05 the value p-value < score p-alpha (0,012 < 0.05) so the level of anxiety has a relationship to the incidence of insomnia in the elderly in Budi Luhur Community Dwelling at Kasongan Bantul Yogyakarta. There is a relationship between anxiety level and the incidence of insomnia in the elderly in Budi Luhur Community Dwelling at Kasongan Bantul Yogyakarta.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Skizofrenia merupakan pemasalahan psikologis yang dialami masyarakat baik dunia maupun di Indonesia. Skizofrenia yang tidak ditangani dengan baik akan menurunkan kualitas hidup pasien. Peran dan dukungan keluarga dalam perawatan pasien skizofrenia menjadi modal penting didalam kesembuhan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengalami pengalaman keluarga dalam perawatan pasien skizofrenia berdasarkan kebijakan kesehatan mental berbasis komunitas. Sebuah studi kualitatif deskriptif dengan informan 8 orang pasien skizofrenia dan keluarganya. Informan dipilih secara purposive sampling. Analisa data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Uji validitas dengan trianggulasi sumber, methode, peneliti, dan teori. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Pilang Kenceng Kabupaten Madiun pada Januari-November 2019. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan indepth interviewing menggunakan panduan pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 4 tema dalam menjawab tujuan penelitian yaitu mengenal masalah pasien, perawatan keluarga, peran lingkungan, dan memanfaatkan fasilitas kesehatan. Kesimpulan : Peran keluarga dalam perawatan pasien skizofrenia yaitu sebagian keluarga mampu mengenal masalah pasien, dan sebagian lagi tidak mampu mengenal masalah pasien. Perawatan yang dilakukan keluarga yaitu mengidentifikasi aktifitas pasien, keluhan pasien, memberikan pengobatan, memahami jenis pengobatan. Peran lingkungan belum optimal dalam perawatan pasien skizofrenia. Sebagian keluarga memanfaatkan fasilitas kesehatan dan sebagian lagi tidak memanfaatkan. Perlu upaya dari pemerintah dan kader kesehatan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan keluarga dalam perawatan pasien. ABSTRACT Schizophrenia is a psychological problem experienced by people both in the world and in Indonesia. Schizophrenia that is not handled properly will reduce the quality of life of patients. The role and support of families in the treatment of schizophrenic patients is an important asset in healing patients. The purpose of this study is to experience family experiences in the treatment of schizophrenia patients based on community-based mental health policies. A descriptive qualitative study with 8 informants from schizophrenia patients and their families. Informants were selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively. Test the validity of the triangulation of sources, methods, researchers, and theories. The study was conducted in Pilang Kenceng Village, Madiun Regency in January-November 2019. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviewing using guide questions. The results showed that there were 4 themes in answering research objectives, namely recognizing patient problems, family care, the role of the environment, and utilizing health facilities. Conclusion: The role of the family in the treatment of schizophrenia patients is that some families can recognize the patient's problems, and some are unable to recognize the patient's problems. Family care is to identify patient activities, patient complaints, provide treatment, understand the type of treatment. The role of the environment is not optimal in the treatment of schizophrenic patients. Some families use health facilities and some do not. Efforts from the government and health cadres are needed to improve the ability of families in patient care.

Abstract

Mental disorders are very common in adolescents with suicidal behavior. Not all acts of suicide are caused by mental disorders, but 80-90% of adolescents who die from suicide have significant psychopathology such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, behavioral problems, and drug abuse. Data from the WHO in 2017 about the suicidal behavior of Indonesian youth aged 13-17 as many as 3.9% of adolescents in Indonesia have tried to commit suicide at least once in the last year, 5.6% of adolescents have made plans related to the way they commit suicide and 5.4% of adolescents are considered serious have considered / have suicidal ideas. Mental Health Services for everyone and the guarantee of the rights of People with Psychiatric Problems along with People with Mental Disorders have not been realized optimal. People with mental disorders really need the support of the people closest, especially social support from family. Family support one of the most important healing medicines for patients with mental disorders. Teenagers need to be prepared early on both mentally and spiritually. The purpose wast to determine the effect of family and peer support on the occurrence of people with psychiatric problems in adolescents. The results was most respondents who received support from families did not experience people with psychiatric problems as many as 69 (32.5%) and respondents who lack family support experienced people with psychiatric problems as many as 53 (27.0%) respondents. Most respondents who experienced people with psychiatric problems and lack of peer support were 45 (23.0%) while respondents who received support from peers and experienced people with psychiatric problems were 36 (18.4%). The results of p value 0.480 that there is no significant relationship between peers with people with psychiatric problems and p value 0,000 that there is a significant relationship between family support and people with psychiatric problems.

Abstract

The pattern of parenting with the child’s independence mental retardation can be a major factor causing children unable to do daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transfer, continence, and feeding indedependently. A child’s independence with mental retardation can affect the balance between self-care and the ability to manager or care for themselves and they really need more supervision and assistance. This method used is observational design with Cross Sectional approach. The sample in this study were parents of mentally retarded children as many as 59 respondents. The sampling technique used Purpossive Sampling with research instruments is theParenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire (PSDQ) questionnaire and the Katz Index. Data analysis techniques used the Spearman Rank. There is a relationship between parenting parents with the independence of daily activities in mental retardation children in the study school at SLB BC Kepanjen. With significant result (p)<0,035=(p)<0,05. Almost all parents with good parenting that is authoritative, also with the independence of children mentally retarted most of them fall into the independent category. So, it can be concluded that, a child’s mental retardation will very much depend on the parenting style of his parents and good parenting will make a good child’s independence.

Abstract

Induction in patients with general anesthesia can cause blood pressure instability due to vasodilation of arteries and veins. This complication of blood pressure instability must be prevented to restore oxygenation of tissues and organs by giving Passive Leg Raising (PLR). The purposes of this research is to knowing the effect of Passive Leg Raising (PLR) toward the blood pressure change of patients with general anesthesia at Dr. Soedirman Hospital Kebumen. This type of research is quassy experiment with a “pretest-posttest with control group design”. The population was surgical patients with general anesthesia at Dr. Soedirman Kebumen Hospital in January-March 2020. The sampling technique used is random sampling, with inclusion criteria 1. Patients aged 22-55 years, 2. Physical status ASA I-II, 3. Pasien with general anesthesia techniques LMA, TIVA, and Face. The sample consisted of 62 consisting of 31 respondents of the intervention group and 31 respondents of the control group. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate with Paired t-test and Independent t-test. The results was showing that there was a change of blood pressure after given PLR. It was showing by the result of a pretest less than posttest with p value 0.000 and the intervention group experienced a significant increase change over the control group in blood pressure evidenced by the value p value of < 0.05. The conclusion that Passive Leg Raising (PLR) can be influencing blood pressure of patient with general anesthesia

Abstract

Background: In studies suggest that post-laparotomy pain occurs in 15% of cases, potentially 35% of pain. Pain is a major problem in the treatment of post operative pain which is a defense mechanism that arises when there is damage to tissue and cause the individual to react in a way memundahkan painful stimulus. Aim: Identifying benson relaxation effect on the rank of the perception of pain in post-laparotomy patients in hospitals Nyi Ageng Serang. Method: This type of research is a quasi-experimental study. This study design using pre-test and post-test design with control group. In the intervention group was given treatment in the form of benson relaxation, while the control group was not given relaxation benson that her pain will be measured by the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). The samples in this research were 35 respondents 35 respondents intervention group and the control group. The sampling technique used is consecutive sampling. Data collection from January to March 2020. Results: The data collected were processed using the Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney test. Wilcoxon test results in the intervention group was obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05) and the control group was obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05). At the Mann Whitney test was obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05), so that Ha is accepted. Conclusion: There is the influence of Benson relaxation therapy on the level of pain perception in patients with post-laparotomy.

Abstract

There are about 10 million people with diabetes mellitus in 2015 and Indonesia ranks seventh as the country with the most diabetes mellitus population in the world. Diabetes mellitus is a disease that causes damage to pancreatic ? cells that produce insulin. Motivation from the family is one way that patients can undergo treatment for diabetes mellitus regularly, so family support and coping are needed to overcome the problem. This study aims to determine the relationship between support and family coping with the motivation to treat diabetes mellitus in Sorong District Hospital. This research is a descriptive analytic study with cross-sectional design on 41 respondents. Data collection using questionnaire sheets. The results of calculating the relationship between family coping and treatment motivation using the Spearman rank correlation showed r = 0.679 and ?-value = 0,000. The results of the calculation of the relationship between family support and treatment motivation using the chi square test ?-value = 0,000. this study found that there is a coping and family support and treatment motivation. Factors that can increase motivation include family support and coping. Further research can examine the relationship between the level of knowledge and treatment motivation for clients of diabetes mellitus.g the chi square test ?-value = 0,000. this study found that there is a coping and family support and treatment motivation. Abstract

Background: Ventilator is arespiratory aids was used for respiratory failure patient. Critical condition of patients with ventilators will have caused physical, psychosocial and spiritual problems. A ventilator tube in the throat caused patient could not speak, pain and discomfort. Assessment of pain in critical patients with ventilator is very necessary because of the inability the patient for verifying. The Critical-Care Pain Observation Tool (CPOT) and Comfort Scale are pain assessment instruments for adult patients. Purpose: This study aims to determinated comparation validity and reliability of Critical-Care Pain Observation Tool (CPOT) and Comfort Scale as pain instrument in patient installed ventilator at the ICU RSUP Dr.Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten Method: This research was used a cross sectional design. Sampling was used consecutive sampling technique. Respondents were assessed two times before and after suction using the CPOT and Comfort Scale instruments. The samples of this research are 30 respondents. This research was conducted in February-March 2020. The data has been analyzed using Receiver Operating Curve (ROC) and Kappa Cohen. Study Result: The result of the CPOT instrumen had a kappa value of 1, sensitivity of 100%, specificity of 73,08% with AUC area of 0,875. While the Comfort Scale instrumen had a kappa value of 1, a sensitivity of 54,55%, specificity of 100% with AUC area of 0,830.

Abstract

Clients with schizophrenia often experience relapse and should be treated again in hospital because the family cannot afford to overcome them. The family plays an important role in home client care, family support has a very important role in both emotional support, instrumental support, information support, and assessment support from the existing data, the patient's relapse rate with the risk of violent behavior in Bali Province Mental Hospital 2016 reached 70% and 60% of the recorded data who revisited for treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and clients’ relapse rate with risk of violence behavior. This study was a descriptive correlational research, the number of respondents was 40 respondents by using sampling namely incidental sampling with cross sectional approach. Data was analyzed by using spearman rank analysis. Based on Spearman Rank test results obtained p value was 0.000 < than determined significance level 0,05, this result showed that there was relationship between family support and clients’ relapse rate with risk of violence behavior in IPCU Ward of Bali Province Mental Hospital. The result of this study is expected to be an information to mental hospital as well as to the family in order to increase the support, role and family functions to reduce the relapse rate of clients who suffer from schizophrenia.
