Abstract

Every industry always wants to be successful and help improve the welfare of its employees, including the cement industry in Bogor Regency. However, not all companies can continue to thrive because of the different organizational climates. This difference is due to differences in the system or way of managing the company itself so that the levels of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Employee engagement are also different. In fact, these two things have a strong influence on increasing the success of a company. This is because, OCB and employee engagement are related to the quality of human resources in each company. For this reason, researchers want to find out more about the effect of Organizational Climate on OCB and Employee Engagement with a case study on the cement industry in Bogor Regency. This research was conducted using an empirical study method using path analysis techniques and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with 40 respondents. The results of this study are that there is a positive influence between Organizational Climate on OCB and Employee Engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine a structural effect model of proactive behavior and workplace spirituality on the innovative work behavior of Generation Y employees at the Indonesia Financial Services Authority (IFSA) mediated by psychological empowerment. The variables in this study are exogenous variables consisting of proactive behavior and workplace spirituality, endogenous variable is innovative work behavior. Psychological empowerment is a mediator. As a hypothesis in this study is a theoretical model of the influence of proactive behavior and workplace spirituality on the innovative work behavior mediated by psychological empowerment fit with the empirical data on Gen Yof IFSA. Data collection techniques are done by self-report measurement, using the scale of proactive behavior, scale of workplace spirituality, scale of psychological empowerment and scale of innovative work behavior. Data analysis used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of LISREL analysis. The sampling technique was carried out by using simple random sampling with 279 respondents. The results showed that proactive behavior and workplace spirituality have positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior mediated by psychological empowerment, with an RMSEA coefficient of 0.010 and with an GFI coefficient of 0.97, so the hypothesis was accepted.

Abstract

Every business needs an excellent service quality to make customer satisfied and loyal. However, the terms of satisfaction and loyal still become the problems that should be tackled like GrabFood in Banda Aceh which should cope the food service delivery delay to the customer. This research uses PAKSERV model to give the solution for improving the service quality, the population in this research is the users of grabfood Banda Aceh and the sample 204 users with purposive sampling. This research uses SEM-PLS with the help of AMOS and SPSS software which found that Tangibility has a significant and positive impact on customer satisfaction along with other variables such as Assurance, Personalization, Sincerity, and Formality. On the other hand, Reliability in this model has not a significant impact to the customer satisfaction even-though it has a positive impact. Thus, it could be interpreted that, GrabFood Banda Aceh should pay more attention to the Tangibility, Assurance, Personalization, Sincerity and Satisfaction.

Abstract

The BLBI dispute has been running for more than 20 years since the BLBI issued by the Government during the monetary crisis that occurred in Indonesia from 1997 to 1998, when the Government of Indonesia decided to implement a managed floating exchange rate system and free floating Until now, theproblem of Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) has not yet been found. Even blbi dispute resolution is increasingly unclear in its direction. The deviation of BLBI disbursement amounted to Rp 138,442 trillion from the total BLBI funds issued by the Government to save the economic crisis that at that time occurred amounted to Rp 144,536 trillion. The urgency of legal reconstruction is very necessary in resolving disputes over BLBI funds that are increasingly directionless.

Abstract

Introduction: Elderly Quality of life is a crucial issue for the aging population in developing countries like Indonesia. Studies found that institutionalized elderly have a lower quality of life than in the community. The caregiver’s role in the social institution could be important as social support to enhance the quality of life of the elderly. This study is to empower the caregivers to improve the quality of life of the elderly in a social institution. Methode: A mixed methods exploratory sequential design was used in this study. The WHO-QOL Old questionnaire was used to examine the quality of life and Duke Social Support for social support. Sample for qualitative were seven participants who had experiences that could be explored in detail about their living in a social institution, and 72 participants for quantitative measures Result: The qualitative findings found four main themes that related to elderly experience living in social institutions, support from caregivers, and facility theme was strongly discussed. As for quantitative findings, after the four-month intervention, the score of elderly quality of life before intervention was 45,97 and after intervention 51,54 (p value>0,00), it means empowerment of caregivers significantly improves the quality of life in a social institution. Conclusion: The empowerment of caregivers as social support for the elderly in social institutions has been proven to improve the quality of life of the elderly in social institutions. However, recommendations are suggested including monitoring systems and policy from the management of social institutions need to maintain sustainability programs.

Abstract

Buffalo farmers in Klis Village in their development need to prioritize social values ??as the strength of the relationship between their members in interacting. Interaction shows the existence of a relatively stable relationship and shows the existence of a learning process that leads to strengthening the capacity of individuals or groups. The level of interaction can be described through the structure of the relationship between farmers (actors) in the social network and the role of each actor, to receive and share information so that it can show the pattern of relationships and the importance of actors in a network. This study aims to examine the structure of social networks and the role of actors in the social network of moa buffalo farmers in Klis Village, Moa District, Southwest Maluku Regency. The results showed that the social network structure of farmers at each click was in the form of an Interlocking Personal Network. Abstract

Research in this study aims to determine the effect of return on assets, asset structure, growth opportunity, sales growth and current ratio of corporate capital structure simultaneously and partially. Capital structure is the ratio of total debt to own capital measured using the debt equity ratio (DER). With the object of research of manufacturing industry sector which experienced an increase that is food, beverage, cigarette, pharmacy, cosmetics, household and chemical goods listed in IDX period 2013-2016. This study was conducted as many as 44 population and 21 samples during the four-year period with a total of 84 samples using purposive sample method. The type of data used is secondary data sourced from Indonesia stock exchange and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that simultaneously independent variables influence the dependent variable of the capital structure, but the growth of the asset structure and current ratio affect the capital structure with the conclusion the five independent variables contained 21% influence on capital structure.

Abstract

Many students' difficulties in learning early algebra are associated with deficiencies in learning during the student's transition from arithmetic to algebra. relational thinking; a way of thinking that can be a gateway to algebraic thinking, is touted as one of the solutions to these difficulties. This study aims to determine the profile of relational thinking and early algebra problem solving strategies for junior high school students. Through the phenomenological design, the researcher selected six participants who fit the research criteria. The data analyzed refers to several theoretical frameworks on relational thinking from several experts. This study focuses on the indicators of interpreting the equals sign , using the relationship between numbers and applying the basic properties of number operations, as well as the methods students use in solving initial algebraic problems (algebraic forms and linear equations of one variable). As a result and its implication, students' relational thinking is seen in several items, namely the first 3 indicator items: each item is seen in S1, S4, and S6; The second 2 indicator items are visible on the S4; and the third 3 indicator items are seen in S1. The majority of subjects do computing dominantly and or apply the nature of operations based on procedural knowledge. Similarly, in solving early algebra problems, it was found that the dominant tendency of students to consider algebraic expressions from a procedural perspective rather than a structural perspective (based on mathematical concepts or structures). From these results, it is deemed necessary to develop relational thinking since students study arithmetic in elementary school, including by familiarizing students with number sentences in various forms and encouraging understanding of mathematical structures (relationships between elements and understanding of the nature of number operations).
