Abstract

The development of digital communication technology has changed the marketing paradigm, with WhatsApp Business becoming one of the popular platforms companies use to interact with customers. Effective marketing techniques such as those developed by Dewa Eka Prayoga, a well-known practitioner in the field of marketing, have become a concern in efforts to increase consumer engagement. This research aims to investigate the role of WhatsApp Business in increasing consumer engagement by applying Dewa Eka Prayoga marketing techniques. This research focuses on understanding the extent to which WhatsApp Business and Dewa Eka Prayoga's marketing techniques can increase consumer interaction and engagement. This research uses a quantitative research method with data collection using a questionnaire. The respondents were randomly selected from the target population of WhatsApp Business users who have used the Dewa Eka Prayoga marketing technique. The questionnaire was structured based on consumer involvement dimensions and the effectiveness of marketing techniques, and it was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. This research analysis shows that WhatsApp Business significantly increases consumer engagement when applied with the Dewa Eka Prayoga marketing technique. The high level of interaction between companies and consumers via WhatsApp Business positively influences consumer perceptions, as well as increases the level of consumer satisfaction and loyalty. This research concludes that WhatsApp Business is an effective tool for increasing consumer engagement when used together with Dewa Eka Prayoga's marketing techniques. Companies can use this platform to strengthen consumer relationships, expand marketing reach, and increase customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the differences in phytochemical profiles and antioxidant activity between the methanol extract of cocoa beans and the n-butanol fraction obtained from Jembrana, Bali. Maceration technique was used in this research. The crude extract of cocoa beans was partitioned based on polarity to determine which fraction has the most potential as a source of bioactive compounds. The n-butanol fraction was evaporated to obtain a polar fraction from the methanol extract of cocoa beans. UV-Vis spectrophotometry was used to measure the total content of flavonoids and tannins in the methanol extract of cocoa beans and the n-butanol fraction. Research found that the methanol extract of Balinese cocoa beans had a total flavonoid content of 0.34 g/100 g and tannins of 0.37 g/100 g. However, the n-butanol fraction had a total flavonoid content of 15.34 g/100 g and tannin 20.16 g/100 g. The IC50 value of the methanol extract was 29.66 ?g/ml, while the n-butanol fraction was 2.63 ?g/ml. The AAI of the methanol extract was 1.35 and the n-butanol fraction was 2.63, indicating that the n-butanol fraction had stronger antioxidant activity with higher flavonoid and tannin content than the methanol extract. The implication of this research is that the n-butanol fraction of cocoa bean methanol extract has the potential as a source of bioactive compounds that can be utilized in the development of high added value products, especially in the context of food pharmaceuticals or other health product.

Abstract

Water resources are crucial for social and economic development, human needs, and food production. However, with water scarcity on the rise, minimizing waste during pumping is vital. Using DC motors for pumping offers a solution for sustainable and efficient water management. This study explores intelligent control strategies to enhance energy efficiency in water pumping systems, comparing Advanced Fuzzy Logic and PID Controllers through simulation. The research aims to optimize the control approach for water pumping operations, improving energy efficiency and system performance. Simulation results indicate that both controllers effectively regulate water pumping operations. The Advanced Fuzzy Logic Controller offer better response to setpoints, with minimal overshoot 0,7%, fast settling time 0.052 Seconds, Rise Time 0.048 Seconds, Time Peak 0.05 Seconds and no steady-state error, Compared to PID Controller with Overshoot 10%, Settling Time 0.23 Seconds, Rise Time 0.048 Seconds, Time Peak 0.078 Second and no steady-state error Moreover, the Advanced Fuzzy Logic Controller performs overall better performance in terms of energy efficiency and robustness compared to the PID controller. The findings suggest that the energy efficiency of water pumping systems can be significantly increased by utilizing Advanced Fuzzy Logic Controller approaches, specifically the Advanced Fuzzy Logic Controller. This study contributes to developing control methods for sustainable water management systems with potential uses in agriculture, irrigation, and water distribution.

Abstract

The recent surge in Pulitzer Prize-winning Breaking News Photography has prompted an exploration into its impact on student photojournalism. This research aims to investigate and analyze this phenomenon. The objective of this study is to assess the effects of recent Pulitzer Prize-winning Breaking News Photography on the intensification of student photojournalism. A qualitative approach, utilizing observational methods, was employed in this research. Sampling was conducted through cluster sampling, involving a total of 60 participants. The analysis of Pulitzer Prize-winning Breaking News Photography indicates a notable enhancement in the ability of students to produce high-quality journalistic photos. Assignments focused on reinforcing the essential principles of journalism have facilitated increased creativity in photo composition and improved accuracy in captioning. Moreover, the evaluation of student works uploaded to social media platforms has provided valuable insights for instructors. Additionally, the need for curriculum adaptation to emphasize skill development is highlighted, aiming to cultivate professional, integrity-driven, and honest journalists. The implications of this study underscore the significance of adapting curriculum structures to bolster skill development in student photojournalists, thereby fostering the emergence of journalism professionals characterized by integrity and honesty.

Abstract

Pachydermoperiostosis is a genetic disorder characterized by pachydermia and periostosis. The clinical and radiological features of pachydermoperiostosis are similar to acromegaly. The Prevalence of pachydermoperiostosis is estimated 0.16%. The ratio of male-to-female incidence is 7 to 1. We report a man 26 years old with complaints of pain and swelling in the wrist joints, fingers, knee joints and ankle joints bilaterally; seborrheic dermatitis, eyelid ptosis, and thickening of facial skin, which has been progressive since he was 17 years old. Manus, genu and pedis x-ray results showed a features of mixed connective tissue disease. Magnetic resonance imaging result of the pituitary gland with contrast  was normal. Laboratory results for growth hormone (GH) and insulin growth factor-1 (IGF-1) were normal. Histopathology results of the facial skin biopsy showed grade 1 pachydermia in pachydermoperiostosis. In conclusion, the appearance of pachydermia on skin biopsy, with normal  growth hormone and insulin growth factor-1 results can differentiate pachydermoperiostosis from acromegaly.

Abstract

Food security is an important global issue to overcome. The increasing world population and climate change bring new challenges to ensuring the availability of sufficient and nutritious Food. Sustainable agriculture offers solutions to increase productivity and Food security while preserving the environment. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of implementing sustainable agricultural technology in increasing agricultural productivity and food security in an area or community. This study used qualitative research methods. The data collection technique in this research is a literature study. The data that has been collected is then analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that sustainable agricultural technology can increase productivity and Food security. Farmers who apply sustainable agricultural technology generally produce higher yields and are more resistant to pests and disease. However, its implementation still needs challenges, such as limited access to technology and knowledge, high costs, and lack of policy support.
