Abstract

The reign of Indonesia's Old Order lasted for about 23 years, from 1945 to 1968 under the leadership of President Soekarno. The economic situation in the early days of independence (1945-1949) was quite bad, including various problems such as very high inflation, the Dutch economic cessation since November 1945, and massive exploitation during the colonial period. However, during the old order, President Soekarno had a development strategy based on this development plan. This development plan put more emphasis on political development efforts where at that time the government was trying to maintain national independence. In 1947 the government started planning by making a Three-Year Production Plan for the Republic of Indonesia in 1948, 1949, and 1950. This program focused on agriculture, animal husbandry, industry, forestry, and other programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove whether or not there is an influence between the independent variables (PAD), Balance Fund, and Education Expenditure) on the dependent variable (IPM) in Tulungagung Regency in 2007 - 2021. The source of the data for this research is the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance. Tulungagung Regency BPS, Tulungagung Regency Regional Development Planning Agency and Tulungagung Regency BPKAD. Multiple linear regression is an analysis that researchers use to see whether or not there is an effect. The results of the research prove that the variable of the Balanced Fund and Education Expenditure has an effect on the growth of HDI. In contrast to the PAD variable, it does not affect the HDI in Tulungagung Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the steps taken to reduce poverty through optimizing the digital-based maritime economy. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The data used is secondary data. Data analysis was done by descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are several steps taken by the Southeast Sulawesi Government to encourage the optimization of digitalization in the maritime sector including building synergy and collaboration between local governments and relevant ministries; development of social media and film-based tourism; optimizing the role of local governments; providing quality human resources in the digital field and increasing digital infrastructure development.

Abstract

The mining and quarrying activities carried out by PT Freeport Indonesia in Papua Province greatly affect the economic and environmental aspects. This study aims to analyze the economic impact, especially GRDP, and the environment caused by PT Freeport. The research methodology in this study uses quantitative analysis where the data obtained are sourced from the Central Statistics Agency. The results of this study indicate that the mining and quarrying sector has the highest contribution compared to other sectors as evidenced by the average contribution rate in 2017-2021 of 37.38%. On the environmental aspect, the presence of PT Freeport causes environmental damage as evidenced by the accumulation of tailings containing acid rock water.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how many externalities are received by the community and determine the difference in income of the community during and after the milling process. This study uses the valuation method to estimate the costs and benefits of the existing impacts and the T-test to determine during and after the milling process in the “PG Djombang Baru” sugar factory, Jombang Regency, Indonesia. The results showed that the positive externality generated due to the activity of the “PG Djombang Baru” sugar factory was IDR 170.790.000 per year while the total cost borne by the community is IDR 2,144,640,000 per year with a total Externality Value of the “PG Djombang Baru” sugar factory of negative IDR 1,973,850,000 per year. So the costs incurred are more than the benefits received. Besides, the results of the T-test showed that there was no significant difference in income between during milling and after milling.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the capital, labor, and length of business and the dominant variable affecting Small and Medium Industries (IKM) income. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive discussion. The test was carried out with multiple linear regression using SPSS with a total population of 30 using the accident sampling technique. The results of this study proved that capital and labor have a significant effect, while the length of business has no significant effect on IKM income. The dominantly influential variable is labor. These results provide information to IKM that they can better utilize technology, such as innovation in the batik production process for a cheaper price. Marketing of Batik Tulis Jetis can use social media or international e-commerce such as Instagram and Amazon to further increase income and be able to survive when on social restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
