Abstract

Indonesia was once a self-sufficient country in rice during the New Order era with the Green Revolution program. However, in 2021 the harvested area for rice plants is in the range of 10.41 million hectares, which if examined more deeply, this figure has decreased in the previous year, namely 2020, which according to the figure range is 245.47 thousand hectares or has decreased by around 2.30 %. Then in 2021, rice production will also experience a decrease of around 31.36 million tons or if it is presented the decrease will be in the range of 0.45 percent. The decline in agricultural land and crop production is not only a problem in this study. Another problem arises, namely the lack of use of technology and the decreasing number of millennial farmers. To overcome these problems researchers used qualitative research methods and used secondary data to be analyzed again. Technological transformation is the main key to this problem so that national food security is strong and sustainable

Abstract

Gresik City is a city that is experiencing very rapid economic growth on the basis of the dynamics of capital circulation in the economic market and political mainstream. The process of implementing state power in carrying out the provision of public goods and services is part of good governance. In order for Good Governance to be successful, it requires commitment from all parties, namely the government and society. Therefore this study aims to determine the management of the public sector in realizing Good Government in the Gresik City area. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data used in writing is qualitative data, namely data in the form of information or explanations from authorized parties such as decisions of the directors, a brief history of the company, organizational structure and description of their duties, and other data relevant to the object of writing. The results of the research show that the regional government of Gresik has implemented the principles of good governance, although not optimal. This can be seen from the existence of legal supremacy, the ease of accessing information, the efforts to provide good service to the community, and being accountable for all its performance.

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify and analyze the importance of the role played by the younger generation in Kadungrembug Village's agricultural development to maintain food security and other fields relevant to agriculture. This research uses a descriptive qualitative analysis method. Data was predominantly obtained from primary data. most of them came from local residents aged 16-30 years and worked as farmers and non-farmers as well as village government officials. The results of this study indicate that the agricultural development of Kadungrembug Village has not been fully successful, even though there are many advanced technologies for managing rice fields. So the welfare of farmers is still not felt by Kadungrembug Village farmers. The role played by the younger generation towards Kadungrembug Village's agriculture has not been maximized due to the lack of awareness and literacy of the younger generation on the importance of loving domestic products. This can be seen from how often they use or consume local products such as tubers, local rice, and secondary crops. So, the corresponding suggestion is that the local Karang Taruna can get opportunities in various village forums, especially in empowerment and agriculture forums.

Abstract

In the last few decades, member countries of ASEAN have experienced economic growth driven by increased FDI and FAID. However, the effect of this investment and foreign aid on carbon emissions in ASEAN countries is still not fully understood. This study examines the impact of FDI and FAID on carbon emissions in ASEAN countries, taking into account Regulatory Quality as a moderator. Panel data from 2011 to 2021 was collected using purposive sampling. The results show that FDI significantly and positively affects carbon emissions, while FAID does not show a significant effect. In contrast, the Islamic capital market shows a significant and negative impact on carbon emissions, demonstrating its potential to reduce emissions in ASEAN countries. Regulatory Quality moderates the relationship between FAID and carbon emissions in a positive way. This study recommends strengthening environmental regulations to mitigate the negative effects of FDI while promoting socially and environmentally responsible Islamic capital markets in ASEAN countries. Further research is needed to understand the factors influencing this relationship comprehensively.
