Abstract

This study aims to determine intercultural communication between students of the Nusantara Module Independent Student Exchange (PMM) at Slamet Riyadi University due to cultural differences. This study uses qualitative research using case studies. Data obtained by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there was good communication and interaction between PMM students at Slamet Riyadi University. This interaction creates a sense of mutual tolerance and respect for one another in the city of Solo. The main language used is Indonesian, but it is also supported by the languages of each region, which, of course, learn from one another. The differences that exist actually make students more compact and familiar.

Abstract

The Open University digital library plays an important role in supporting the learning process of open and distance education by providing various digital collections for all UT students. This research focuses on the effectiveness of UT's digital library in meeting the information needs of Master of Management students at UPBJJ-UT Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The results in this study indicate that UT's digital library has not been fully effective in meeting the information needs of master of management students at UPBJJ-UT Jakarta. This is because UPBJJ-UT Jakarta master of management students are still experiencing several problems in utilizing the UT digital library, so the role of UT librarians is needed in promoting and socializing their digital library.

Abstract

The cultural center functions as a forum for cultural activists, artists, the local community, and local youth to be able to show, sell and preserve local cultural activities. The Karo tribe needs a Cultural Center so that they can preserve culture and appreciate cultural actors in the Karo land, the current generation, especially the Karo youth, are spoiled with entertainment in the form of games such as malls and other entertainment venues. The growing influence of western culture through technology is feared to erode karo cultural values. make people become consumptive and spend time looking at gadgets that are not necessarily useful. The cultural center can be a place to increase knowledge of local culture in order to remain sustainable, restore mindsets and views on good cultural values that can be taken. With the Metaphorical Architecture approach which will later be able to show karo culture and attract visitors to the karo cultural center. The application of this theme is applied to building formations, appearances and forms of buildings.

Abstract

Triage is a rescue action in the emergency room which is carried out by grouping patients based on certain criteria. Knowledge, skills and attitudes of ED nurses are needed in clinical decision making so that mistakes do not occur in sorting based on triage so that patient management can be more optimal and directed. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the implementation of triage by nurses in the Emergency Room of RSUD dr. Abdul Rivai Berau. Analytical quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. A sample of 25 people used the total sampling technique. Shows that there is no relationship between training (ρ value 1.000) and years of service (ρ value 0.554) with the implementation of triage. There is a relationship between knowledge (ρ value 0.002), attitude (ρ value 0.004) and skills (ρ value 0.009) with triage.

Abstract

Children with pneumonia cause the ability of the lungs to expand to decrease so that the body reacts by breathing quickly to prevent hypoxia. The use of media such as audiovisual is believed to be able to stimulate the senses of hearing and sight so that the results obtained are maximized. Using a research design quesy experiment with pre-test and post-test design. A sample of 32 respondents was taken by Consecutive Sampling. Data analysis was performed with the Wilcoxon test. The results of hypothesis testing with the Wilcoxon test obtained a p-value pre-test and post-test for the level of parental knowledge of 0.000 (p-value <0.05) and a p-value for pre-test and post-test for the level of parental independence of 0.039 (p- value < 0.05). There is an effect of effective cough education and chest physiotherapy on parents' knowledge and independence.

Abstract

The low ratio of health workers in Indonesia compared to other countries is due to the lack of policy development and guarantees for health workers from the government. Factors that can affect the performance or work performance of employees include: motivation, job satisfaction, stress levels, physical condition, work, compensation system and economic aspects. This study aims to determine the relationship between the provision of Covid-19 incentives, workload and interpersonal relations with the work motivation of nurses in the inpatient room of the dr. Abdul Rivai. This type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional design with simple random sampling technique in a population of 162 people. The result is that the most dominant influence on motivation is interpersonal relations (p-value) (0.001) than Covid-Intensive Giving (p-value) (0.005)

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between learning patterns through online media and stress during the Covid-19 pandemic for students at SMP Negeri 03 Gunung Tabur in Berau Regency. This study used a design with a cross-sectional design approach. The sample in this study was carried out by means of a total sample of 230 students at SMP Negeri 3 Gunug Tabur. The relationship between the independent variables and also the dependent variable uses the Chi Square test analysis method. The results of the analysis using the chi square test obtained a p value = 0.006 (p value <0.05) with an OR of 2.431. There is a relationship between learning patterns through online media and stress during the Covid-19 pandemic for students at SMP Negeri 03 Gunung Tabur in Berau Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of parents and the psychological readiness of female adolescents to face menarche. This research is a type of correlational quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling, amounting to 51 grade 5 and 6 students at SDN 002 Tanjung Redeb. Data analysis was carried out using the Spearman Rho test with a significance level of 0.05. Respondents were dominated by 12 years of age (56.9%), were in grade 6 (56.9%), their parents were housewives (47.1%), and their parents' education was high school (54.9%). The average score for the role of parents is 9.31 (st. dev = 1.984) and the psychological readiness of adolescents is 6.98 (st. dev = 1.489). There is a significant relationship between the role of parents and the psychological readiness of young women to face menarche at SDN 002 Tanjung Redeb (p-value 0.000; Corr 0.548).

Abstract

The method used is a correlational quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach using a sample of 38 taken by purposive sampling from 59 populations of Diabates Mellitus patients hospitalized at dr. Abdul Rivai Berau. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment test with a significance of 0.05. The results of the analysis showed that the average level of independence was 33.62 or Partly Compensatory, and the average quality of life was 78.175 or good quality of life. There is a significant relationship between independence (self-care) and the quality of life of Diabetes Mellitus patients in the inpatient room of RSUD dr. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the relationship between nurse response time and triage accuracy in the IGD RSUD dr. Abdul Rivai Berau District. This research is a type of analytic observational research with a cross sectional design. The research sample consisted of 25 nurses taken by total sampling in the emergency room of RSUD dr. Abdul Rivai. Non-parametric data analysis was performed using the Fisher Exact test with a significance level of 0.05. Nurse Response Time in the Emergency Room of RSUD dr. Abdul Rivai, Berau Regency, the majority acted responsively as many as 16 respondents (64.00%) and right in triage as many as 17 respondents (68.00%). There is a significant relationship between nurse response time and triage accuracy in the emergency room of RSUD dr. Abdul Rivai Berau District (Sig = 0.022; Risk Estimate = 0.500).
