Jurnal Komuniksi Islam dan Kehumasan (JKPI) terbit sejak tahun 2017. Terbit dua kali setahun pada bulan Juni dan Desember oleh Prodi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam dengan nomor ISSN: 2621-9492, Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian dan kajian analisis ilmiah di bidang ilmu-ilmu, Ilmu Dakwah, komunikasi Islam, Public Relation Islam, Fotografi Islam, dan lain-lain. Penyunting menerima tulisan yang belum pernah dipublikasikan di media lain. Naskah yang dikirim berbahasa Indonesia harus disertai abstrak berbahasa Inggris. Sedangkan naskah yang dikirim berbahasa Inggris harus disertai abstrak berbahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Development journalism and community empowerment have become interesting things lately especially the existence of an urban farming program which is believed to be able to empower the urban poor. The media supports the urban farming program as a community empowerment program. This study aims to look at the application of development journalism in community empowerment. The results of the study show that development journalism has been implemented in the city of Palembang with the coverage of local government programs by various media in South Sumatra, one of which is the Urban Farming program, which is a regional government program in Palembang in collaboration with Bank Indonesia. Furthermore, the role of development journalism in community empowerment in the city of Palembang can be seen with enthusiasm by the community in utilizing vacant land to carry out urban farming which is a regional government program in collaboration with Bank Indonesia to be a program that can help the community economy where the mass media in Palembang are active preach this program so that people are interested in participating in this program both directly and indirectly. The pattern of adoption of urban farming innovations and utilization of idle land in the city of Palembang is divided into innovators, early adopters, and early majorities.

Abstract

This paper is derived from the results of a study evaluating on how ideal and organized the management of press. Besides, management as a science and art, and management functions were discussed. Then what and how the press and journalism, the press law and ethics perspective, and the functions of the press were also described. This paper concludes that the press as an organization cannot be separated by the application of management, both as a science and an art in order to achieve the objectives. Then, the existence and dynamics of the press at this time cannot be separated with the past life of the press, the press in the pre-independence as a struggle-oriented tool, press in the era of independence that slowly leads to economic and social institutions that tend to forward commercialism and neglect idealism. Moreover, the freedom of press cannot be interpreted as freedom to carry out journalistic activities freely, but these freedoms must be subject to the law and journalistic ethics. Therefore, a good press is a press that is able to manage the balance between the demands of idealism and commercialism.

Abstract

This research was carried out on public relations in the Ministry of Religion of South Sumatra Provincewhich has implemented an information publication system to improve the validity of information on the website of the Ministry of Religion of South Sumatra Province.The background of this research isbased on Law No. 14 of 2008concerning Public Information Openness and ISO / IEC 20071 of 2009 concerning Information Security Management System Requirements. The work unit in the Ministry of Religion of South Sumatra implements a standard for the control of online media, namely the information publication system.Thisinformation publication system with the purpose of controlling information published on the website.This research uses qualitative data, where the primary data sources are public relations staff, SOP information system and website of the Ministry of Religion of South Sumatra Province.The theorythis research is the Grunig and Hunt Situation Theory of public information needs and Shannon and Weaver's information theory.The results of this research are the application of this information publication system with 5 control books can improve the validity of information because the published information can be more clearly and accurately.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled: “Persepsi Mahasiswa terhadap Metode Dakwah Ustadz Abdul Somad, Lc., MA (Studi Kasus pada Mahasiswa Jurusan KPI Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Raden Fatah Palembang angkatan 2015) with the problems in this study are: What is da’wah method that often used by Ustadz Abdul Somad, Lc., MA and What is the perception of KPI Students in academic year 2015 of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang towards the method of da'wah Ustadz Abdul Somad, Lc., MA. Guided by Suharsimi Arikunto, if the population is less than 100 people it is better taken all, whereas if the population is larger then it can be taken 10-15% or 20-25%. In this study the population is all students majoring in KPI 2015, consist of 114 studentd. While the sample or respondents taken as many as 25% of 114 people, namely 28.5 rounded up to 30 respondents . The results of this study are: The method that is often used by Ustadz Abdul Somad, Lc., MA and good according to respondents is the question answer method and verbal method. While the method that is rarely used by Ustadz Abdul Somad, Lc., MA and is a discussion method.

Abstract

This study uses quantitative data, where the primary data sources are students of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting who are active in lectures as many as 457 students. The sample used based on simple random sampling technique was 41 students. The data obtained were analyzed using the TSR formula and Rank Spearman Correlation through SPSS 23 and Excel. The theory used in this study is the Berlo Communication Model or known as the SMCR (Sender-Message-Channel-Receiver) model. In addition, this study also uses the SOR (Stimulus-Organism-Response) theory.The results of the research conducted on 41 respondents were that Radio Fatwa's broadcasting skills were classified as medium, as well as the listening interest of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students who were also classified as medium. In addition, researchers also found that there was a significant influence between Radio Fatwa's broadcasters' skills on the listening interest of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students.
